What is Metaspins?
Metaspins is a slots-heavy crypto casino that has run since 2022 and changed its licence and operating company in mid-2026. It is known for a huge library, rakeback and lootbox rewards; it is also the subject of repeated player reports about accounts closed over alleged duplicate accounts. We read the licence claims, review sites and complaint pages below. We did not play there.
- Launched: 2022, per CryptoSlate, when the brand entered crypto gambling as a Curaçao-run casino
- Operator: 3-102-959384 SRL, a Costa Rican company with a San Pedro address, replacing Metaspins N.V. of Curaçao
- Licence: Anjouan, number ALSI-202606048-FI2, issued 30 June 2026 and valid to 29 June 2027, as published by review sites; previously Curaçao
- Coins: 12 listed by Casino.org, including BTC, ETH, USDT, USDC, LTC, TRX, XRP, BNB, SOL and ADA
- KYC policy: ID and proof of address requested at withdrawal, per Casino.org
- Games: 7,076 titles from 78 providers per Casino.org, plus five originals and live tables; CryptoSlate also lists a sportsbook
- UK and US: both listed as restricted by Casino.org and CryptoSlate
- Our rating: Mixed
Metaspins appears in our Bitcoin casinos, Ethereum casinos, USDT and stablecoin casinos, Solana casinos, altcoin casinos and crypto slots casinos lists, and in the crypto casinos hub.
Our rating: Mixed
Metaspins has run since 2022 with a large library and reports of fast payouts, but it changed operator and licence in 2026 and faces repeated duplicate-account withdrawal disputes. No regulator action found.
We rate crypto casinos from public sources only: the licence and what it covers, who owns it, what players report about withdrawals and complaints, how clear its terms are and how long it has been trading. Last reviewed 12 October 2026. How we rate crypto casinos.
History and ownership
Metaspins began in 2022 under a Curaçao company and passed to a Costa Rican one in 2026. CryptoSlate, on a page dated 9 October 2026, records the earlier operator as Metaspins N.V., a Curaçao company (registration number 160102), and the current owner and operator as 3-102-959384 SRL, a Costa Rican company. It says the site now names the SRL with no mention of the N.V. or Curaçao.
The licence trail on the same page: a sub-licence (GLH-OCCHKTW0703232022) under a Curaçao master licence from 2022, then a direct Curaçao Gaming Control Board licence (OGL/2024/1063/0437) still displayed in May 2026, and then an Anjouan licence issued to the SRL on 30 June 2026. CryptoSlate's own key-facts box still shows Curaçao as the licence, which contradicts its text, so parts of that listing are stale.
We found no company filing, named director or reason for the 2026 move on any page we opened, and we will not guess at one. What matters for players is practical: the entity holding your funds and the regulator you could complain to both changed within the past four months.
Games and sportsbook
Games are the casino's strongest point on paper. Casino.org counts 7,076 titles from 78 providers, including 6,235 pokies (3,856 video slots, 2,379 classic slots and 121 book-style games), more than 200 live tables with 117 from Evolution, and 82 crash-style games. The largest suppliers by volume are Pragmatic Play (717 titles), Play'n GO (423) and Red Tiger (324).
Metaspins also lists five branded originals with their own categories. Casino.org does not mention a sportsbook; CryptoSlate lists about 30 sports, live betting and early cash-out, with a stated margin of 9.0% and a 3x deposit wagering rule on sports. If sports betting matters to you, confirm what the site currently offers.
For slots that sit in a library like this, see our pages on Gates of Olympus 2500 and Ding Dong Death. Availability depends on your country and the casino's own lobby, and Casino.org notes an Anjouan licence with no independent game-fairness audit.
Deposits, withdrawals and KYC in practice
Crypto in, crypto out, with identity checks at withdrawal. Casino.org says registration takes about two minutes by email, that a government ID and proof of address are requested when you withdraw, that verification takes about 10 minutes, that crypto withdrawals average 0 to 1 hour and that fiat withdrawals are not offered. Cards and wallets only buy crypto. Every deposit must be wagered at least once before it can be withdrawn.
On Trustpilot, as of 12 October 2026, Metaspins held 2.5 out of 5 from 141 reviews, 61% of them one-star, with only 28 posted in the last 12 months. Several reviewers (October 2025, January 2026 and August 2026) praise fast deposits and withdrawals. Another, in May 2026, says a withdrawal stayed pending for more than two days after full verification, with support citing admin review. Trustpilot flags that dates on some reviews and replies are inconsistent, so timelines should be read with care.
Casino.org also notes that live chat is an AI agent with no way to reach a human, and that email replies come in about eight hours.
Licence and safety
The licence is Anjouan, an offshore licence with limited routes for player disputes. The licensor runs a public register with a "Verify a Licence" page, but the register page we opened showed column headings and no entries, so we could not confirm ALSI-202606048-FI2 ourselves. The number and dates come from CryptoSlate and Casino.org, which both publish them. Treat the licence as reported, not independently verified by us.
What the licensor says holders must do is keep anti-money-laundering and responsible-gambling measures. A Trustpilot page for the Anjouan regulator, rated 1.5 out of 5 from 30 reviews (all one-star) as of our visit, collects reviewers who say complaints went unanswered. That page is not about Metaspins and the reviews are unverified, but it shows how little recourse to assume.
Casino.org says Metaspins offers provably fair verification on core mechanics and lootbox prizes, no eCOGRA or iTech Labs testing, a dated complaints policy with records kept five years and no named alternative dispute resolution body. Its responsible-gambling tools include deposit limits, breaks from 24 hours to six months and self-exclusion, though the external support links it lists point to UK bodies only. We found no proof-of-reserves page.
Bonuses, rakeback and lootboxes
Rewards are the casino's hook, and Casino.org sets out the terms. The welcome bonus is 100% up to 1 BTC equivalent with 40x wagering, seven days to complete it, a 0.001 BTC minimum deposit, no free spins and no maximum on bonus winnings. Rakeback starts at a fixed 3% and scales towards a headline 120%, with an optional coin-flip gamble of up to three flips.
There is a weekly leaderboard with a US$15,000 pool ranked by amount wagered, daily lootboxes and a Daily Drop, plus VIP cashback: monthly from the Emerald tier and weekly from Sapphire. On Trustpilot, in November 2024 and August 2026, reviewers complain about high wagering on bonuses and describe forfeiting a bonus as losing the balance. The casino replies that bonuses are opt-in and that forfeiting removes only bonus funds. Wagering rules mean bonus money can lock your balance until it is met.
Complaints, controversies and what has gone wrong
The recurring complaint is accounts closed and winnings withheld over alleged multiple accounts, which the casino says is rule enforcement. We found no regulator action, court ruling or hack involving Metaspins.
- March 2023, Latvian player on LCB: a player says a 9,500 USD withdrawal was cancelled and the account closed for multi-accounting after a large win. The casino replied on 9 March 2023 that the account was involved in multi-accounting and bonus abuse, the winnings were removed and the decision was final. The forum moderator marked it resolved, saying the evidence showed multiple accounts from the same computer and IP; the player denied it and the evidence was not published.
- May 2023 on LCB: a player says winnings were confiscated after the casino asked about a sibling's account at the same address. The casino cited clause 8.1, one account per person, household, IP address and device. The moderator again sided with the casino on 18 May 2023.
- Trustpilot, December 2025 to August 2026: reviewers report rejected withdrawals and closed accounts for alleged duplicates, including one in June 2026 saying two siblings' accounts were terminated after support reportedly approved separate KYC. One in May 2026 reports about $250 withheld despite passing KYC. These are single reviewers' claims.
- Casino replies: on Trustpilot the company replies to 82% of negative reviews, usually after more than a month, in templated messages signed "MetaSpins Team" citing terms 8.1 and 10.3, certified RNG and a request for usernames and transaction IDs.
- Game fairness claims: reviewers in May 2023 and April 2026 allege games or originals are rigged. These are unverified and the casino denies adjusting outcomes.
The pattern is consistent enough to take seriously: players who share a household, device or network with another account face real risk if they withdraw. Against that, the two cases we could read in full were reviewed by a moderator who accepted the casino's evidence.
The good, the bad and our verdict
The good
- Operating since 2022, longer than most newer crypto casinos.
- Very large library: 7,076 games from 78 providers per Casino.org.
- Fast crypto withdrawals praised by several Trustpilot reviewers in 2025 and 2026.
- Transparent terms for the welcome bonus and rakeback, and a published licence number and operator.
The bad
- Trustpilot 2.5 out of 5 from 141 reviews, with 61% one-star.
- Repeated reports of accounts closed and winnings withheld for alleged duplicate accounts.
- New operator and offshore licence since June 2026, which we could not confirm in the register.
- No independent fairness audit, no named dispute body, AI-only live chat.
Our verdict. Metaspins is mixed. It has a long run since 2022, a large library and reports of quick payouts, but a steady drip of withdrawal disputes, a low Trustpilot score and an ownership and licence change this summer. Nothing we found is a regulator or court finding, so we do not rate it poor. Read the one-account-per-household rule before depositing, and do not assume a complaint will be heard.
A word for UK readers
Metaspins is not UKGC licensed, and a casino must hold a UK licence to offer gambling to people in Great Britain. Casino.org and CryptoSlate both list the UK as a restricted country. UK players are outside GAMSTOP and UKGC protections on sites like this.
Crypto adds its own points: balances move with the market, transfers are final, casinos often pay out in the coin you deposited, and bonuses carry wagering rules. Gambling is for adults only (18+), and wins are never income. Free help is available at BeGambleAware.

FAQs
Is Metaspins legit?
Metaspins has run since 2022 and publishes an Anjouan licence number, but we could not confirm it in the licensor's register. Players report fast payouts and also accounts closed for alleged duplicates. No regulator or court action turned up, so we rate it mixed, not poor.
Who owns Metaspins and where is it licensed?
CryptoSlate lists 3-102-959384 SRL, a Costa Rican company, as owner and operator, with an Anjouan licence (ALSI-202606048-FI2) issued 30 June 2026. It replaced Metaspins N.V. of Curaçao, which held earlier Curaçao licences. We found no filings naming individuals.
Why do players say Metaspins closes accounts?
Trustpilot reviewers and 2023 forum posters allege accounts were closed and winnings withheld for multi-accounting. The casino cites its rule of one account per person, household, IP address and device. These are allegations and the casino's stated position, not findings.
How fast are Metaspins withdrawals?
Casino.org says crypto withdrawals average 0 to 1 hour after a roughly 10-minute ID check. Some Trustpilot reviewers agree, while one in May 2026 reports a withdrawal pending over two days. Each deposit must be wagered once before withdrawal.
Can UK players use Metaspins?
No licence covers UK players: Metaspins is not UKGC licensed, and Casino.org and CryptoSlate list the UK as restricted. UK players would be outside GAMSTOP and UKGC protections. Check the casino's own terms for its current country list.
What is the Metaspins welcome bonus?
Casino.org describes 100% up to 1 BTC equivalent, 40x wagering, seven days to complete it and a 0.001 BTC minimum deposit, with no free spins. Terms change, so read the current ones. Wagering means bonus money can lock your balance until met.
