Big slot libraries, several RTP versions of the same game and offshore licences: what to check, and how six crypto casinos we track compare.
A crypto slots casino is an online casino that takes deposits in cryptocurrency and puts slots at the centre, usually with thousands of titles from the big studios. The six we cover all do this alongside tables, live games or a sportsbook.
Scale varies. AskGamblers lists more than 7,900 games at BitStarz and 75 providers on its page, though its own text says 80 or more. Betpanda is described as having a library of over 10,000 games. Studios whose games we review include Pragmatic Play, Hacksaw Gaming, Nolimit City and Backseat Gaming; see our pages for Wicked Grin and Big Bass Halloween Splash 1000 for how we describe a game. Having a studio's games on offer does not tell you which version the casino runs.

Check the RTP in the game, not on the banner. Gambling.com says providers including NetEnt, Pragmatic Play, Play'n GO and Red Tiger release several RTP versions of the same slot and the operator picks one, so one title can pay 96.5% on one site and 94.0% on another. Its advice is to open the game's info or paytable and read the figure shown. That is the number that applies where you play.
Look for the real studio's games. The Curaçao Chronicle reported on 9 February 2026 an LCB.org warning about another offshore site, alleging it ran fake or tampered versions of games imitating known developers. That is one allegation about one site, not a pattern we found at these six, but it is why the studio's own game page is worth comparing.
Check the licence on the register. The Curaçao Gaming Authority lists Stake's operator, Medium Rare N.V., under licence OGL/2024/1451/0918 as active. Its record for Bull Gaming N.V., Rollbit's former operator, reads revoked. Rollbit now cites an Anjouan licence, which Casinos.org says carries no deposit protection.
Read the bonus terms before taking a bonus. Wagering rules decide whether bonus money ever becomes cash, and Trustpilot reviewers of Mega Dice describe a 35x requirement they say was unclear at deposit. That is one reviewer's account.
For UK readers the position is simple. The Gambling Commission guidance says a business offering gambling to people in Great Britain without a Gambling Commission licence is "acting illegally". None of the casinos on this page states a UK licence in the pages we read, and players on such sites are outside GAMSTOP self-exclusion and outside the Commission's complaint and safer gambling rules. Rollbit lists the UK among its 29 restricted places (Casinos.org, review updated 9 October 2026); check any casino's own restricted list before assuming anything.
Slots are built to take more than they give back. RTP is a long-run average over millions of spins, not a promise for your session. Gambling is for over-18s, wins are not income, and a losing run can drain a balance quickly.
Crypto itself carries risk. The FCA warns that cryptoassets "tend to be very volatile", that it is "highly unlikely" you would be covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme, and that you should be prepared to lose all your money. Transfers are final: send to the wrong address or network and nobody can reverse it.
Reports of withheld winnings come up often. Reviewers of Rollbit and Betpanda on Trustpilot describe withdrawals blocked or balances confiscated after wins, and both casinos reject or answer some of it. These are unverified reports, so read the casino's reply next to each.
Bonuses carry wagering rules that decide whether bonus money ever becomes cash. Gambling is for over-18s, wins are not income, and free confidential support is available from BeGambleAware and GambleAware.
BitStarz is the one we rate Good: running since 2014, a Curaçao licence listed on AskGamblers, 4.3 on Trustpilot from 5,449 reviews on 20 October 2026, and replies to 97% of negative ones. AskGamblers lists 18 of 26 complaints resolved; rejected cases involve bonus and duplicate-account rules. The licence is offshore and its owners are not named in what we read.
Stake is Mixed. Trustpilot showed 3.9 from 12,177 reviews with 99% of negative reviews answered. Finance Magnates reported on 28 September 2026 that leaked regulator files raised questions about money flowing to entities linked to its founders, and The Block reported the FBI attributing a $41 million theft in September 2023 to the Lazarus Group.
Rollbit, BC.Game, Mega Dice and Betpanda are Poor, for reasons set out on the casinos to be careful with page: a revoked licence record and withheld-withdrawal reports at Rollbit; a 2024 bankruptcy ruling against two former operators and a reported $4.33 million exploit in March 2026 at BC.Game; no named regulator and thin evidence at Mega Dice; no published licence number at Betpanda.
A big library is not a safety signal. Several of the largest catalogues sit with the weakest records.
Many list games from providers such as Pragmatic Play and Hacksaw Gaming, but you should check. Compare the game with the studio's own page. A Curaçao Chronicle report in February 2026 alleged one offshore site ran tampered copies of known games.
Yes. Gambling.com says providers such as Pragmatic Play and Play'n GO release several RTP versions and the operator picks one, for example 96.5% on one site and 94.0% on another. Check the figure in the game's info panel.
A site needs a Gambling Commission licence to offer gambling in Great Britain. The casinos we cover state none, so UK players are outside GAMSTOP and UKGC protections. Rollbit lists the UK as a restricted place.
Of the six we cover, BitStarz, rated Good: open since 2014 and 4.3 on Trustpilot from 5,449 reviews on 20 October 2026. It is still an offshore licence, and some complaints about bonus rules and frozen accounts exist.
No. Library size says nothing about payouts or licensing. Betpanda is described as having over 10,000 games yet we rate it Poor, while the licence, complaint record and ownership are better guides.
18+ only. Gambling can be addictive; set limits and never chase losses. Free, confidential support: BeGambleAware.
