Playing in Tether or other stablecoins removes market swings but not issuer, network or casino risk: what to check and how five casinos compare.

What are USDT and stablecoin casinos?

A USDT or stablecoin casino lets you deposit and play in a coin designed to track the dollar, such as Tether (USDT) or USDC. The aim is a balance that does not swing with the crypto market, so a win or a loss reflects the games rather than the price of Bitcoin.

Support is common. Fair Gambling's snapshot of 5 October 2026 lists USDT, USDC, DAI and BUSD at Stake, across ten networks including TRX, ETH, SOL, BSC and POL. AskGamblers lists Tether and USD Coin among deposit methods at BitStarz, and describes an exchange feature converting other coins into USDT. Mega Dice's site shows USDT and USDC in its footer, and CryptoSlate lists Tether among the coins at Betpanda. We did not verify stablecoin support at BC.Game from the pages we opened.

How to choose

Match the network exactly. USDT exists on several blockchains, and an address on one will not receive coins from another. Tether describes USDT as "built on multiple blockchains". A transfer on the wrong network is usually unrecoverable.

Check fees on your network. The casino sets some fees and the network sets others. Fair Gambling's figures for Stake are in native coins (for example a 0.00001571 BTC Bitcoin withdrawal fee on 5 October 2026), and it flags some figures as unclear, so check the cashier for the stablecoin and network you use.

Know the freeze policy. EMM Legal reports that Tether can blacklist addresses and freeze USDT, and that a legitimate business can be frozen after receiving funds from a tainted address. A casino that holds your USDT is exposed to the same power, and that is a risk to you.

Check the licence on the register. The Curaçao Gaming Authority lists Stake's operator, Medium Rare N.V., with licence OGL/2024/1451/0918 as active. A footer logo is not evidence.

The risks

For UK readers the position is simple. The Gambling Commission guidance says a business offering gambling to people in Great Britain without a Gambling Commission licence is "acting illegally". None of the casinos on this page states a UK licence in the pages we read, and players on such sites are outside GAMSTOP self-exclusion and outside the Commission's complaint and safer gambling rules. Rollbit lists the UK among its 29 restricted places (Casinos.org, review updated 9 October 2026); check any casino's own restricted list before assuming anything.

A stablecoin is not cash. Tether says USDT is "backed 100% by Tether's Reserves", but that is the issuer describing itself. Verdantix, in a December 2025 analysis of UK stablecoin proposals, notes that if confidence in an issuer falls a run can cause a depeg, and holders would see their holdings lose value. The FCA also says cryptoassets can lose all their value and you are unlikely to be covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme.

Freezes and finality. EMM Legal reports 4,858 blacklisted addresses and over $2.24 billion frozen in the past 12 months, with only 3.6% of addresses later removed. Whether a casino's wallet is ever affected is not something a player can see.

Stable value does not make the casino trustworthy. A steady balance helps nothing if withdrawals are held. Reviewers of Betpanda and Mega Dice on Trustpilot describe pending withdrawals and closed accounts, which the casinos say follow their terms.

Bonuses carry wagering rules that decide whether bonus money ever becomes cash. Gambling is for over-18s, wins are not income, and free confidential support is available from BeGambleAware and GambleAware.

How the casinos we cover compare

BitStarz has the strongest record and is rated Good. It has run since 2014, AskGamblers lists its operator, Gareton B.V., under a Curaçao licence, and Trustpilot showed 4.3 from 5,449 reviews on 20 October 2026, with replies to 97% of negative ones. Complaints describe frozen funds after an alleged second account and bonus caps, which the casino says its terms allow.

Stake is Mixed. Its licence is active and Trustpilot showed 3.9 from 12,177 reviews, though reviewers describe deposits not credited. Finance Magnates reported on 28 September 2026 that leaked regulator files showed large payments between its operator and entities linked to its founders, and The Block reported the FBI attributing a $41 million theft in September 2023 to the Lazarus Group.

BC.Game is Poor. The Curaçao Chronicle reported in November 2024 that two former operators were declared bankrupt over unpaid player claims, and BC.GAME said in March 2026 that an attacker took about $4.33 million, as Crypto Briefing reported. Its Trustpilot page shows no score, citing a guidelines breach.

Mega Dice and Betpanda are Poor. Mega Dice calls itself fully licensed but names no regulator on its homepage; CryptoSlate reports Betpanda's terms say it operates under no domestic licensing regime. Both have Trustpilot pages with no score and removed fake reviews. See casinos to be careful with for detail.

FAQs

What is a USDT casino?

It is a casino that lets you deposit, play and withdraw in Tether (USDT), often alongside USDC and other stablecoins. The aim is a balance that tracks the dollar rather than swinging with Bitcoin.

Which network should I use for USDT?

The one the casino's cashier shows for your deposit address. USDT runs on several blockchains, and sending on the wrong one usually loses the funds. Fair Gambling lists ten networks at Stake, so check yours exactly.

Can USDT be frozen?

Yes. EMM Legal reports that Tether can blacklist addresses and freeze USDT, citing over $2.24 billion frozen across 4,858 addresses in the past 12 months. A legitimate business can be frozen after receiving funds from a tainted address.

Are stablecoin casinos legal in the UK?

A business needs a Gambling Commission licence to offer gambling in Great Britain. The casinos we cover state none, so UK players are outside GAMSTOP and UKGC protections, whichever coin is used.

Is a stablecoin casino safer than a Bitcoin casino?

Not necessarily. A stablecoin removes price swings but not issuer, freeze, network or casino risk. Verdantix notes a stablecoin can depeg if confidence in its issuer falls, and a casino can still hold withdrawals.

18+ only. Gambling can be addictive; set limits and never chase losses. Free, confidential support: BeGambleAware.
