What is mBit Casino?

mBit Casino is one of the older bitcoin casinos still trading: it launched in 2014, its X account dates from March 2014, and it now runs at mbitcasino.io under Scores55 Tech B.V. of Curaçao. It is a casino only, with slots and live dealer tables but no sportsbook. It is one of the veteran brands in our crypto casinos hub.

Our rating: Mixed

A twelve-year-old bitcoin casino with a Curaçao licence we verified and many reports of fast payouts, held back by low withdrawal caps, KYC that can arrive at cashout and recurring reports of accounts frozen after wins.

We rate crypto casinos from public sources only: the licence and what it covers, who owns it, what players report about withdrawals and complaints, how clear its terms are and how long it has been trading. Last reviewed 27 October 2026. How we rate crypto casinos.

History and ownership

For most of its first decade mBit was a brand of Dama N.V., Curaçao company number 152125. According to CryptoSlate's company profile, Dama N.V. was formed in 2019 and took over a casino portfolio previously run by Direx N.V., and the old mbitcasino.com disclosure named Dama as owner and operator under Antillephone sub-licence 8048/JAZ2020-013.

Curaçao's 2024 reform wound down those shared master licences. mBit now operates under Scores55 Tech B.V., registered at Scharlooweg 39 in Willemstad, which received its own licence in July 2024. CryptoSlate notes that no public record dates the handover from Dama exactly. The same licence covers the RocketPlay brand and kitcasinos.com; CryptoSlate also lists 7Bit Casino under the same company number, though 7Bit's domain does not appear on this particular certificate.

Some review sites have not caught up. Casinos.com and The Spike, both updated in October 2026, still name Dama N.V. as the owner. Cryptolinks noticed a smaller inconsistency on 30 June 2026: the privacy policy, last updated in February 2026, was headed "Scores55 Tech N.V." while the rest of the site said B.V. The individuals behind Scores55 are not named in the sources we read.

Games and sportsbook

mBit's library is large, though counts vary: Casino.org and Tech Insider say 5,000 or more, The Spike says 7,500 or more and the casino's own X profile claims 8,000. AskGamblers lists 25 providers including Pragmatic Play, Play'n GO, Yggdrasil, BGaming, Red Tiger and Nolimit City, and Tech Insider adds Hacksaw Gaming. We cover recent releases from several of them, such as Sugar Rush Super Scatter, Duck Hunters 2 and Wicked Grin, but lobbies vary by country, so check that a given title is there.

The live casino has just over 100 tables, mostly from Evolution and Pragmatic Play Live according to The Spike, which is why it sits in our crypto live dealer casinos list as well as our crypto slots casinos list. AskGamblers notes that some games and the live casino are blocked in certain countries by the providers themselves.

There is no sportsbook; The Spike lists that as a drawback. Tech Insider says the in-house games are provably fair, but we found no independent audit of them, so treat that as the casino's claim.

Deposits, withdrawals and KYC in practice

mBit is crypto only, with no cards or bank transfers. It takes Bitcoin and Ethereum (it is in our Bitcoin casinos and Ethereum casinos lists), USDT (USDT and stablecoin casinos) and seven other coins (altcoin casinos). Minimum deposits, as the operator stated on AskGamblers, include 0.00035 BTC, 0.01 ETH, 0.14 LTC and 10 USDT. Its terms say a deposit below the minimum is lost, and one AskGamblers complaint was about exactly that.

The withdrawal caps matter more than the speed. Both AskGamblers and Cryptolinks report a limit of 3 BTC (or the equivalent) per seven days and 10 BTC per 30 days, with exceptions at the casino's discretion for high VIP levels and progressive jackpots. Cryptolinks also reports that wins of 10 BTC or more can be paid in ten monthly instalments. On speed, The Spike says approvals came within 10 minutes and AskGamblers lists 0 to 24 hours pending, with no casino fees; network fees still apply.

mBit is not reliably no-KYC, whatever some reviews say. Cryptolinks, reading the terms on 30 June 2026, found verification can be requested for payouts above 1 BTC and sometimes below, and may include ID, proof of address, a selfie, live video and proof of wealth, with refusal able to lead to confiscated winnings. Complaints on AskGamblers describe requests for a passport, a selfie with a document and a bank statement, and Casinos.com reports players describing repeated video verification calls.

Licence and safety

The licence is real. The Curaçao Gaming Authority certificate we opened shows Scores55 Tech B.V. holding B2C licence OGL/2024/1307/0748, status active, granted 16 July 2024, and lists mbitcasino.io among its approved domains. That settles a doubt raised by Cryptolinks, which in June 2026 could not find a domain-specific certificate because the site's seal opened only an image. It also contradicts Casinos.com, which in October 2026 still described mBit as operating without a valid licence.

A Curaçao licence is an offshore licence. It allows the company to operate, but it offers players no compensation scheme and only limited routes for disputes, and the regulator does not publish detailed enforcement records. It is not a guarantee of how a dispute over a frozen account will be handled.

We found no published audit of the casino's own games and no proof of reserves. Third-party slots run on their providers' certified random number generators, which is standard, but that says nothing about the casino's own decisions on accounts and withdrawals, which is where the complaints sit.

Bonuses and VIP

The headline welcome package is spread over three deposits: 100% up to 1 BTC with 100 free spins, 100% up to 1.5 BTC with 100 free spins, then 125% up to 1.5 BTC with 125 free spins, about 4 BTC and 325 spins in total according to Tech Insider, which lists 40x wagering on the bonus funds. The Spike notes the offer differs by country. The operator told AskGamblers that bonuses are set in fixed crypto amounts rather than fiat, so their value moves with the coin.

The loyalty scheme is space themed, with tiers starting at Space Trooper and invitation-only levels at the top according to The Spike. AskGamblers player reviews mention a reward wheel and cashback, and some long-term players say the programme has become less generous. On Trustpilot in October 2026 one VIP complained of not receiving bonuses; mBit replied that free bonuses "depend on availability and account activity".

As always, 40x wagering on a matched deposit is a high bar, and the 3 BTC weekly cap applies to whatever you win from it. Read the full bonus terms before opting in.

Complaints, controversies and what has gone wrong

mBit has no regulator action, hack or shutdown on record that we could find. Its complaints are about accounts and withdrawals, and they are steady rather than rare.

  • AskGamblers (as of October 2026): 28 complaints, 24 resolved. The largest, a withdrawal of about $256,761 that a player said went unpaid after KYC documents were sent, is marked resolved. Three are marked rejected: an account closed with about $15,788 unpaid, an account disabled after a withdrawal request and KYC submission (about $3,700 in ETH), and a 26 LTC win frozen during verification. The page does not show the dates of these complaints. AskGamblers still gives a CasinoRank of 7.5 and a player rating of 8.3 from 165 reviews.
  • Trustpilot (October 2026): 4.2 out of 5 from 504 reviews, 70% five star and 20% one star. mBit has replied to 96% of negative reviews, usually within 48 hours, though Trustpilot notes it has not invited customers recently. Recent negative reviews report accounts locked after wins (17 October), a suspended account with funds not returned (12 October) and a withdrawal stuck for more than 48 hours (25 September). On 29 September 2026 mBit replied that "recent withdrawal issues have affected processing times". An April 2026 review described a withdrawal cancelled after a security review; mBit's replies say such reviews are sometimes triggered automatically by its security systems.
  • Positive reports: in the same period reviewers praise payouts within about 15 minutes (3 September) and named support agents (8 and 19 October).
  • Review sites: Casinos.com (15 October 2026) lists mBit as blacklisted, citing ID checks, account closures and withheld funds, though it also gets the owner and licence wrong. The Spike says it no longer recommends mBit.

The picture is a casino that pays most people quickly and answers in public, with a recurring minority whose accounts are frozen or closed at the point of a big withdrawal, usually during verification. Those are player reports; some were resolved, some were rejected by AskGamblers after review.

The good and the bad

The good

  • Trading since 2014, longer than almost every crypto casino
  • A Curaçao licence we verified on the regulator's certificate, naming mbitcasino.io
  • Fast crypto payouts in many player reports and a 4.2 Trustpilot score with replies to 96% of negative reviews
  • 24 of 28 AskGamblers complaints resolved, including one of about $256,000
  • Large slot library and around 100 live tables

The bad

  • Withdrawals capped at 3 BTC a week and 10 BTC a month, with very large wins paid in instalments
  • Not reliably no-KYC: verification, including video and proof of wealth, can be demanded at cashout
  • Recurring reports of accounts frozen or closed after wins, and three rejected AskGamblers complaints
  • Ownership changed from Dama N.V. to Scores55 Tech with no public handover date, and the people behind it are not named
  • Offshore licence only; no sportsbook; 40x wagering on the welcome bonus

Our verdict: mBit has survived twelve years and holds a current Curaçao licence that we confirmed covers its domain, and most players who write about it report getting paid quickly. Set against that are low withdrawal caps for anyone who wins big, verification that can arrive at the worst moment, and a steady run of reports of frozen accounts that the casino answers but does not always resolve. We rate it Mixed: a long record, but one where the terms on limits and KYC deserve a careful read before any deposit.

For UK readers

mBit Casino does not hold a UK Gambling Commission licence, and an operator needs one to offer gambling to people in Great Britain. Both Cryptolinks and The Spike list the United Kingdom among its restricted countries, along with the United States, France, Spain and Brazil. UK players on offshore crypto casinos are outside GAMSTOP and outside UKGC protections such as affordability checks and access to an approved dispute service.

The usual crypto points apply. Balances rise and fall with the coin, a blockchain transfer cannot be undone, and mBit pays out in crypto, normally the coin you used. Gambling is for over-18s only and is a cost, not an income. If it is causing you problems, BeGambleAware offers free, confidential support.

FAQs

Is mBit Casino legit?

mBit Casino is a real, licensed operator: the Curaçao Gaming Authority certificate shows Scores55 Tech B.V. holding licence OGL/2024/1307/0748, active since July 2024, with mbitcasino.io approved. It has traded since 2014. Players also report frozen accounts and withdrawals held during verification, and three AskGamblers complaints were rejected, so we rate it Mixed.

Who owns mBit Casino?

mBit Casino is operated by Scores55 Tech B.V., a Curaçao company registered under number 162990 in Willemstad. Before Curaçao's 2024 reform it was run by Dama N.V. under an Antillephone sub-licence. The same Scores55 licence covers RocketPlay. The individuals behind the company are not named in the public sources we read.

What are mBit Casino's withdrawal limits?

AskGamblers and Cryptolinks both report a cap of 3 BTC, or the equivalent in another coin, per seven days and 10 BTC per 30 days, with exceptions for high VIP levels and progressive jackpots. Wins of 10 BTC or more can be paid in ten monthly instalments. Approval is often quick, but the caps limit how fast a large win can leave.

Is mBit Casino a no-KYC casino?

Not reliably. You can sign up with only an email, but the terms let mBit request ID, proof of address, a selfie, live video verification and proof of wealth before a withdrawal, particularly above 1 BTC. Several AskGamblers and Trustpilot complaints describe accounts frozen during these checks, so plan for verification before depositing.

How fast does mBit Casino pay out?

Often fast. The Spike reports approvals within about 10 minutes and AskGamblers lists 0 to 24 hours pending, with no casino fee. Trustpilot reviewers in September 2026 describe payouts in about 15 minutes. In the same month mBit acknowledged withdrawal issues had slowed processing, and some players report delays when security reviews are triggered.

Can UK players use mBit Casino?

No. mBit has no UK Gambling Commission licence and lists the United Kingdom as a restricted country, along with the United States, France, Spain and Brazil, according to Cryptolinks and The Spike. UK players on offshore crypto casinos would also be outside GAMSTOP and the UKGC's player protections.
