What is 7Bit Casino?
7Bit Casino is one of the oldest bitcoin casinos still trading: it opened in 2014, runs on SoftSwiss software and takes both crypto and ordinary money. Its licence number appears on the Curaçao Gaming Authority's own register, but who operates it is less clear than it should be, and its complaint file is dominated by slow withdrawals that usually end up paid.
It is a casino only, with slots, live dealer tables and instant games, and no sportsbook. We list it in our crypto casino hub under Bitcoin casinos, Ethereum casinos, USDT and stablecoin casinos, altcoin casinos, crypto slots casinos and provably fair and crash casinos. The facts below are as of late October 2026.
- Launched: 2014 according to AskGamblers and CryptoSlate; SoftSwiss publicly announced the launch in March 2015.
- Operator: Scores55 Tech, a Curaçao company (registration 162990 per CryptoSlate). The register spells it N.V., most reviews B.V., and CryptoSlate's October 2026 review names a different company again (see below).
- Licence: Curaçao Gaming Authority OGL/2024/1307/0748, listed on the CGA's online gaming register of 20 October 2026 with status "Indefinite".
- Coins: BTC, ETH, USDT, USDC, XRP, DOGE, BCH, ADA, TRX, BNB, SOL and LTC in the cashier, plus Bitcoin Lightning for deposits, per CryptoSlate's review.
- KYC: none to sign up; ID, a selfie, proof of address and proof of payment can be asked for before any withdrawal.
- Games: about 11,000 titles from more than 120 providers, live dealer tables, no in-house originals and no sportsbook.
- UK and US: both on its restricted list.
- Our rating: Mixed.
Our rating: Mixed
A long-running casino with a Curaçao licence confirmed on the register and most complaints resolved, held back by withdrawal caps, frequent payout delay reports and unclear, changing ownership.
We rate crypto casinos from public sources only: the licence and what it covers, who owns it, what players report about withdrawals and complaints, how clear its terms are and how long it has been trading. Last reviewed 27 October 2026. How we rate crypto casinos.
History and ownership
7Bit has kept its name and domain for more than a decade, but the company behind it has changed at least twice. CryptoSlate's company profile says it started under Direx N.V., moved in autumn 2020 to Dama N.V. (registration 152125) along with the rest of Direx's casino portfolio, and is now run by Scores55 Tech, which took the domain over under its own licence.
The Intergame trade news site reported on 27 March 2015 that SoftSwiss had launched 7BitCasino as a "provably fair" bitcoin casino with more than 500 games, using a payment provider that converted bitcoin to euros. The library has grown to roughly twenty times that size since.
Sources do not agree on the current operator. The Curaçao register lists OGL/2024/1307/0748 under Scores55 Tech N.V., and a separate entry, OGL/2023/174/0082, under Dama N.V., so the two companies hold two different licences. CryptoSlate's company page also names Saphirix Solutions SRL as a parent, and its review, updated on 25 October 2026, goes further: it says the default operator is now Saphirix Solutions SRL of Costa Rica under a Tobique Gaming Commission licence, with Kika Technology B.V. (a Curaçao licensee whose OGL/2023/147/0081 number we did find on the register) operating it in some markets. We could not confirm the Saphirix or Tobique claims from any regulator page. Players should check the legal footer on the day they sign up to see which company they are contracting with.
We could not find an official X account for 7Bit, and no owner or company filings beyond the licence register and the company number quoted by CryptoSlate are public.
Games and live casino
7Bit is a large slots casino first. CryptoSlate's October 2026 review counts about 11,000 games, of which roughly 9,400 are slots and 1,148 are live dealer tables, from 126 providers; AskGamblers lists 77 providers. Counts differ because the lobby changes by country and over time.
The providers named include Pragmatic Play, Hacksaw Gaming, Evolution, Play'n GO, NetEnt and Playtech. Pragmatic Play is behind recent releases such as Gates of Olympus 2500 and Big Bass Halloween Splash 1000, and Hacksaw Gaming behind Wicked Grin and Le Vampire; which of those titles a given player sees depends on the casino's lobby in their country.
There is no sportsbook and, according to CryptoSlate's review, no in-house originals. The game list includes crash, plinko, dice and mines titles from third-party studios, plus progressive jackpots, blackjack, roulette, baccarat and video poker.
Deposits, withdrawals and KYC in practice
Withdrawals are capped, and that cap is the first thing a big winner should know. AskGamblers lists limits of EUR 10,000 a week and EUR 40,000 a month with a EUR 20 minimum; CryptoSlate's review gives the same figures in dollars and says progressive jackpot wins are paid in full.
Stated speeds are fast, reported speeds are slower. AskGamblers lists e-wallets at 0 to 24 hours, cards at 1 to 5 days, bank transfers at 1 to 7 days and no weekend cashouts; CryptoSlate's review says the aim is to pay within 72 hours of approval. CryptoSlate reports no casino fee on crypto withdrawals, but a USD 20 monthly fee on accounts left dormant for 12 months.
KYC is not needed to open an account, but it is not optional in practice. CryptoSlate's review says ID, a selfie holding the ID, proof of address and proof of payment can be requested before any withdrawal or on a risk check, and that the review can take up to 30 working days. Many of the delay complaints below began exactly there: a large win, then a document request, then days of waiting.
The coin list in reviews is not consistent. Our starting list named ten coins; CryptoSlate's review lists twelve in the cashier, adding USDC and SOL, while the overview box on its own company page lists only four. Check the cashier before sending anything, and remember that sending a coin on the wrong network cannot be undone.
Licence and safety
The licence is real and current on the regulator's own list. The Curaçao Gaming Authority's licence register (the online gaming registry dated 20 October 2026) lists OGL/2024/1307/0748 for Scores55 Tech N.V. with status "Indefinite". CryptoSlate dates the licence to 16 July 2024, under the island's new gaming law (LOK).
What that covers is limited. A Curaçao licence is an offshore licence: it lets the company operate from Curaçao and gives players a complaint route to the CGA, but it is not a licence for the UK, the US or most of Europe, and Curaçao's dispute process is far weaker than a UK or Malta regulator's. The CGA itself warns that its register overviews "do not guarantee the current validity" of a licence.
On fairness, 7Bit's replies to Trustpilot reviewers say its games use certified RNG technology from the studios that make them. SoftSwiss sold 7Bit as provably fair in 2015, but CryptoSlate's 2026 review says the casino has no provably fair games of its own, so the "provably fair" label now applies at most to individual third-party crash or dice titles. We found no independent audit report, no proof of reserves and no published RTP audit for the casino itself.
We found no record of a hack, a licence suspension or any regulator action against 7Bit or its listed operators.
Bonuses and VIP
The welcome offer is a four-deposit package with 250 free spins in total, at 35 times wagering on both the bonus and the free spin winnings, per CryptoSlate's October 2026 review. The same review lists a 1 USDT maximum bet while wagering, a 14-day expiry, a 20 USDT minimum deposit per stage and free spin winnings capped at 100 USDT.
Headline amounts vary wildly between sites. Older affiliate reviews advertise "up to 5.25 BTC", while CryptoSlate's breakdown lists caps measured in milli-bitcoin. Treat any headline figure as marketing and read the bonus terms in the cashier. Bonus rules feature in the complaints too: one AskGamblers case involved a withdrawal refused over an unmet wagering requirement, and a Trustpilot reviewer in October 2026 called the wagering requirements too strict.
The VIP scheme has 12 levels based on points earned per USDT wagered on slots. Weekly cashback rises from 5% at the lower levels to 20% at level 12, where the wagering on cashback falls to 1 times; reaching level 12 takes 3,000,000 USDT of slot wagering, according to CryptoSlate. Every bonus here has rules that can void winnings if broken, so a bonus is never free money.
Complaints, controversies and what has gone wrong
7Bit's complaint record is long but mostly closes in the player's favour. AskGamblers shows 83 complaints, 78 of them marked resolved, with payment complaints 56 of 57 resolved, an average response time of two days and an average complaint length of six days (as of October 2026). Almost all are about delayed withdrawals, usually on larger wins.
- USD 8,155, 11 days pending: a player requested a withdrawal on 3 July, had it rejected on 7 July with an ID request and reported it still pending on 11 July. Marked resolved.
- NZD 6,900 in crypto, August 2025: two crypto withdrawals made on 7 and 8 August 2025 were reported stuck. 7Bit replied that they had been processed after "standard security checks". Marked resolved.
- 150 LTC, 48 hours: a withdrawal worth about USD 10,460 reported delayed for two days. Marked resolved.
- USD 5,155, August 2024: a withdrawal pending for more than 80 hours after a 9 August 2024 request. Marked resolved.
The biggest single allegation is unproven. On 13 February 2025 the Curaçao Chronicle reported a formal complaint from an unnamed player seeking USD 115,000 in damages. It alleged weak age and identity checks, ignored requests over two years to close the account, a delayed large withdrawal, a cut in cashback from 20% to 10% and false RTP figures. 7Bit had not responded publicly when the article ran, and we found no record of any outcome, regulator finding or court case since. It remains one player's allegations.
On Trustpilot 7Bit scores 4.2 out of 5 from 2,363 reviews (late October 2026), with 15% one-star. Recent negative reviews report a payout pending for about a month after repeated document requests (August 2026), an unpaid withdrawal from months earlier (October 2026), account closure requests not acted on (October 2026), an account closed because the player was in the US, and wagering rules seen as too strict. Trustpilot shows 7Bit replying to every negative review, usually within 24 hours, mostly with a template pointing to support. Trustpilot does not verify reviews.
The good and the bad
The good
- Trading under the same name since 2014.
- Licence number confirmed on the Curaçao Gaming Authority's own register.
- 78 of 83 AskGamblers complaints resolved, with replies in about two days.
- A 4.2 Trustpilot score from more than 2,300 reviews, and replies to every negative one.
- A very large slots and live casino library, twelve coins and no casino fee on crypto withdrawals.
The bad
- Weekly and monthly withdrawal caps that make big wins slow to collect.
- A steady stream of reports of multi-day delays and document requests on larger withdrawals.
- Three operators since launch, and sources that disagree on who runs it today.
- An offshore licence only, with limited dispute routes.
- No in-house provably fair games, audits or proof of reserves, despite the "provably fair" label it launched with.
Our verdict. 7Bit has a verified Curaçao licence and a twelve-year record without a hack or regulator action, and most complaints about it end up resolved. Against that, its payout caps and document checks produce a steady run of delay complaints, and the company running it has changed hands and is named differently by different sources in October 2026. That is a mixed picture, not a dangerous one: expect to verify your identity before a large withdrawal and to collect big wins in instalments.
For UK readers
7Bit does not accept UK players: the United Kingdom is on the restricted list in both CryptoSlate's company profile and its review. It holds no UK Gambling Commission licence, and a casino needs one to offer gambling to people in Great Britain. Almost no crypto casino holds one.
Anyone playing on an offshore crypto casino is outside GAMSTOP and UKGC protections. Crypto balances rise and fall with the market, blockchain transfers cannot be reversed, winnings are often paid in the coin you deposited, and bonuses carry wagering rules. FAQs
Is 7Bit Casino legit?
7Bit Casino is a real, licensed offshore casino that has traded since 2014. Its licence, OGL/2024/1307/0748, appears on the Curaçao Gaming Authority register for Scores55 Tech with status "Indefinite" as of October 2026. Most of its 83 AskGamblers complaints are marked resolved, but players regularly report slow withdrawals and document checks on larger wins.
How long do 7Bit Casino withdrawals take?
The casino aims to pay within 72 hours of approval, and AskGamblers lists e-wallets at 0 to 24 hours, cards at 1 to 5 days and bank transfers at 1 to 7 days, with no weekend cashouts. In practice, larger withdrawals often wait several days for KYC checks, which is the main theme of its complaint record.
What is the 7Bit Casino withdrawal limit?
AskGamblers and CryptoSlate both list a limit of 10,000 a week and 40,000 a month (in euros or dollars depending on the source), with a minimum withdrawal of 20. Progressive jackpot wins are paid in full, according to CryptoSlate. A big non-jackpot win is therefore paid out over several weeks or months.
Does 7Bit Casino require KYC?
Not to sign up, but it can be required before any withdrawal. CryptoSlate reports that 7Bit can ask for photo ID, a selfie holding the ID, proof of address and proof of payment, and that checks can take up to 30 working days. Several AskGamblers complaints began with an ID request after a large win.
Can UK players use 7Bit Casino?
No. The United Kingdom is on 7Bit Casino's list of restricted countries, alongside the United States, Australia, the Netherlands and others. It holds no UK Gambling Commission licence, so it cannot legally offer gambling to people in Great Britain, and players on such sites are outside GAMSTOP and UKGC protections.
Who owns 7Bit Casino?
The Curaçao register lists its licence under Scores55 Tech N.V. Earlier operators were Direx N.V. and then Dama N.V. from 2020, according to CryptoSlate. CryptoSlate's October 2026 review also names Saphirix Solutions SRL of Costa Rica as the default operator, which we could not confirm on any regulator page, so check the footer when you visit.
