What is Roobet?
Roobet is a crypto casino and sportsbook that grew up on Twitch and Kick creators, and it holds a Curaçao licence that, as far as we can verify from secondary sources, dates from July 2024. It offers a shared wallet across casino and sports betting, with thousands of slots, live dealer games and its own Originals. Players report fast payouts and, increasingly, disputes over withdrawals, bonuses and verification.
The at-a-glance picture, from the sources we opened:
- Launched: 2019 per its own claim and Revenue Memo; Fair Gambling lists 2018, so the date is not agreed
- Operator: Raw Entertainment B.V., Curaçao, registration number 157205 per CryptoSlate
- Licence: Curaçao Gaming Authority, OGL/2024/687/0427, granted 31 July 2024 per CryptoSlate (we could not open the licensor's own validator)
- Coins: the site lists Bitcoin, Ethereum, Tether, Dogecoin, Litecoin, Ripple and USD Coin among others, plus fiat options such as cards and bank transfer
- KYC: the site says checks may apply, especially for larger withdrawals
- Games: 7,000 plus titles claimed: slots, live dealer, game shows, Originals, and a sportsbook
- Availability: blocked in the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia and Ontario, among others
- Our rating: Mixed
It sits in our Bitcoin casinos, streamer casinos, crypto slots casinos and crypto sportsbooks lists. Our crypto casinos hub explains how we rate.
Our rating: Mixed
Roobet has a reported active Curaçao licence and many fast-payout reports, but Trustpilot has fallen to 2.6 with recurring withdrawal and verification complaints and only offshore oversight. No regulator action found.
We rate crypto casinos from public sources only: the licence and what it covers, who owns it, what players report about withdrawals and complaints, how clear its terms are and how long it has been trading. Last reviewed 12 October 2026. How we rate crypto casinos.
History and ownership
Roobet launched in 2019 and grew through Twitch streaming and gambling creators, according to Revenue Memo. That page names Matt Duea as the only consistently named co-founder, still described as CEO, and says the other founders and the ownership split are not public. A second co-founder, Anthony Brennan, is quoted as Roobet's head of partnerships in the Chelsea announcement covered by Inside World Football.
The first major setback was in 2022. On 20 September 2022 Twitch announced a ban on streams of slots, roulette and dice from sites not licensed in the US or in jurisdictions with enough consumer protection, effective 18 October 2022, and named Stake.com, Rollbit.com, Duelbits.com and Roobet.com, as summarised by NPR member station WUNC. Revenue Memo says the brand then pivoted towards sports sponsorships and creator deals on other platforms, and that it received the Curaçao licence in 2024 under the island's new regime.
Ownership remains thin on the public record, a point Revenue Memo flags among critics' concerns about limited identity checks and undisclosed owners.
Games and sportsbook
The brand pitches a single wallet across casino and sports, and roobet.com describes a lobby of more than 7,000 games. CryptoSlate counts over 7,000 titles: third-party slots, table games, live dealer, Roobet Originals such as Plinko, Keno, Dice, Mines, Tower and Crash, craps, bingo and poker, plus a sportsbook and prediction markets. Counts differ elsewhere (Fair Gambling cited figures from 4,400 to 7,000 and called them unreconciled), so treat the total as approximate.
Roobet says its Originals are provably fair, and its public replies to critics give a house-game return to player of 97 percent against 96 percent for third-party slots, as quoted in Trustpilot replies. We could not check either number independently. If you like the studios behind the third-party titles, our crypto slots casinos page and slot reviews cover many of them.
Deposits, withdrawals and KYC in practice
Roobet accepts several major coins and, per its own site, some fiat routes, and says KYC checks may apply, especially for larger withdrawals. The picture of how strict that is conflicts: Fair Gambling's compliance box rates KYC "light" yet its body text says KYC is required for withdrawals, and a Trustpilot reviewer says identity and address document requests were used to delay payment. We treat KYC as something to expect before a significant cash out.
Withdrawal reports are mixed. On Trustpilot (as of 12 October 2026, newest reviews dated that month) fans praise fast deposits and withdrawals and a helpful VIP manager. Critics report blocks and pending withdrawals. One reviewer says a $2,500 withdrawal was cut to $1,250 in a settlement they dispute; Roobet replied that the settlement was agreed and the decision is final. These are reports and a company reply, not findings.
We found no limits, fee schedule or speed table on pages we could open, so we do not quote any.
Licence and safety
Roobet's operator, Raw Entertainment B.V., is reported to hold Curaçao Gaming Authority licence OGL/2024/687/0427 (CryptoSlate, which lists it active). Fair Gambling cites the same code but says it must be checked against the official registry, and we could not open the registry ourselves, so we call the licence reported rather than confirmed by us.
What a Curaçao licence covers is limited. It is an offshore licence with limited routes for player disputes compared with, say, a UKGC or Malta licence, and critics call the regime lax. We found no proof of reserves, and the audit position is not stated on pages we opened. The licence exists; it does not mean we vouch for how any given dispute is handled.
The site states "18+ to play" and offers deposit limits, cool-off periods and self-exclusion. One Trustpilot reviewer criticises a 24-hour cooldown before a longer self-exclusion.
Bonuses and VIP
The site describes rakeback, cashback, a VIP Club and a $100,000 weekly raffle banner. CryptoSlate gives a bonus wagering requirement of 30x deposit plus bonus. Fair Gambling published a bonus test in which a $500 deposit and $25,000 wagered at a 1 percent house edge returned $34.78 in rakeback; that is that site's test, not ours. Several Trustpilot reviewers say rewards got smaller after what they call a Rewards 2.0 reset. We list no codes. Read the current terms before relying on a bonus.
Streamers who play on Roobet
TimTheTatman was announced as a Roobet partner on 12 January 2026. Esports.net reported over 30 hours of gambling across three Kick sessions, a first-session balance rising from about $160,000 to over $1.5 million (including a single Crazy Time win above $500,000) and ending just over $1 million at the end of the third stream. It reported no details of payment or of how often he will stream.
Xposed is listed as attached to Roobet by win.gg, and on 6 February 2025 Trainwreckstv questioned whether Xposed's Roobet play was with real money, as reported by GamblingNews. Xposed replied amicably; no Roobet response was reported. Yassuo is listed as streaming on Roobet by Fair Gambling, which ranks the brand third by streamer market value with 69 streamers. That figure is an estimate by a campaigning site.
Streamers often play with balances supplied by the casino, so on-stream wins say little about what an ordinary player might expect.
Complaints, controversies and what has gone wrong
We found no regulator action, court ruling or hack involving Roobet. What we found is a pattern of player complaints and a few reputation hits, all reported rather than proven.
- Trustpilot, 12 October 2026: 2.6 out of 5 from 2,293 reviews, with 68 percent five star and 26 percent one star. Roobet replied to 49 percent of negative reviews. Many replies use near-identical wording saying the site is "100% provably fair" and that the team reached out and heard nothing back. Fair Gambling scraped 3.1 from about 2,200 reviews in February 2026, so the score has fallen since.
- Common themes: withdrawal blocks and delays, document requests, reduced rewards, support chat closing, some reviewers alleging low returns or unfair bans. All unverified; Trustpilot does not fact-check.
- Casino Guru: Fair Gambling reports "Good" user feedback from 16 reviews and one unresolved complaint, with no detail. We could not open Casino Guru ourselves.
- BitcoinTalk: Fair Gambling counts 20 unresolved accusations, without detail we could check.
- Astralis, May 2022: the Danish esports organisation signed and then cancelled a Roobet shirt deal within 24 hours. Its CEO said it "did not perform our due diligence well enough around local legal matters", per Inven Global. Reports pointed to Danish licensing rules; the legal detail was not confirmed.
- Twitch, 2022: the promotion ban described above.
The good and the bad
The good:
- A Curaçao licence reported by CryptoSlate as active, and a named operating company
- Many reviewers praise fast payouts and VIP support
- Real sports partnerships, including Chelsea FC as regional betting partner for Latin America and Canada (announced 31 January 2025)
- Responsible gambling tools and a company that replies to about half of negative Trustpilot reviews
The bad:
- Trustpilot at 2.6 from 2,293 reviews, down from about 3.1 in February 2026
- Recurring reports of withdrawal blocks, document demands and reduced rewards
- Offshore licence only, with thin ownership detail
- Marketing heavily tied to streamers who may play with casino-supplied balances
Our verdict
We rate Roobet Mixed. It has a Curaçao licence reported as active, a long operating record by crypto casino standards and plenty of reviewers who say it pays quickly. Against that stand a falling Trustpilot score, a steady stream of withdrawal and verification complaints, an offshore licence with limited dispute routes and little public ownership detail. No regulator or court action turned up that would justify a Poor rating. Expect to be asked for ID before a large withdrawal.
A note for UK readers
Roobet is not licensed by the UK Gambling Commission and lists the United Kingdom among its restricted countries, per CryptoSlate. A casino must hold a UK licence to offer gambling to people in Great Britain, and UK players would be outside GAMSTOP and UKGC protections on a site like this. We do not suggest ways around country blocks.
For everyone: crypto balances move with the market, transfers are final, and bonuses carry wagering rules. Gambling is for adults only (18 plus) and wins are not income. Free, confidential help is available at BeGambleAware.
