Who is TimTheTatman?

TimTheTatman is Timothy John Betar, an American streamer who spent a decade as one of the best-known faces on Twitch and YouTube before adding casino streams on Kick in January 2026. Slots are now one strand of his output, not all of it: on Kick his recent broadcasts also include Marvel Rivals and World of Warcraft: Forever. Wikipedia gives his birthday as 8 April 1990 and describes him as a native of Syracuse, New York.

  • Platforms: Kick (slots and casino, plus Marvel Rivals and World of Warcraft), with Twitch and YouTube for his regular gaming content
  • Country: United States
  • Language: English
  • Known for: Fortnite and Call of Duty: Warzone streams, a long run as a Twitch partner, and now high-stakes slots and live casino games on Kick
  • Current casino partner: Roobet, announced on 12 January 2026 (terms not disclosed)
  • Followers: 57,292 on Kick as of 10 October 2026; Wikipedia lists over 7 million on Twitch, an undated figure

The Kick count looks modest next to his Twitch audience, but the VODs on his channel tell a different story. His October 2026 casino sessions drew between roughly 21,000 and 27,000 views each, while his non-casino streams over the same three weeks drew between 926 and 4,358.

Streaming career

According to Wikipedia, Betar joined YouTube in 2011, started streaming on Twitch in 2012 and went full time in March 2014 as a Twitch partner. His audience jumped when Fortnite launched in 2017, and in 2018 he played in Epic Games' first Fortnite Celebrity Pro-Am and won the Gamers' Choice Awards fan-favourite male streamer title. That year he also joined the GuardianCon charity marathon for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, which raised over $2.7 million, and set a Twitch donation record by raising more than $106,000 in four hours of his block.

In 2020 he was nominated for Content Creator of the Year at The Game Awards. In September 2021 he signed a YouTube exclusivity deal and became a part-owner and content creator at Complexity Gaming in the same month. He returned to Twitch on 1 September 2024 once the exclusivity ended and now simulcasts across platforms. In 2025 he was nominated for Best Marvel Rivals Streamer at The Streamer Awards.

The casino chapter starts in January 2026. Esports.net reported that he streamed for more than 30 hours across three Kick sessions after Roobet announced the partnership, and that the first session began live with 100 Thieves co-founder Matthew "Nadeshot" Haag. Since then his Kick channel has settled into a pattern: long gambling runs billed as a "Roobet trip", separated by ordinary game streams titled "bald".

The Kick archive shows two of these runs in the weeks before this page was written. The first ran from 16 to 18 September under "$300K START" titles, lasting about 12 hours, 11 hours and 9 hours on the three days, with 23,171, 25,583 and 25,608 views. The second ran from 4 to 6 October, starting on "$400K START" and then "$250K START" titles, with sessions of roughly 11.5, 12.5 and 7 hours and 22,172, 27,342 and 21,095 views. In between, his Marvel Rivals and World of Warcraft: Forever streams ran from about four to eight hours.

There is no published weekly schedule that I could find. The pattern in the archive is blocks of consecutive gambling days announced by the stream title, rather than a fixed night of the week, so the channel and his X account are the places to check.

Casino deals and sponsors

TimTheTatman's casino partner is Roobet. The crypto casino announced the deal on X on 12 January 2026 with the line "Welcome to the Roobet Family", and Streamer.Guide noted that neither side disclosed the contract length, the money or when the casino content would start. His Kick stream titles carry the #RoobetPartner tag, so the sponsorship is stated up front on every gambling broadcast.

Esports.net describes Roobet as a Curacao-licensed offshore crypto casino that is officially prohibited in the US, UK, Canada and Australia, with many users reaching it through VPNs. That matters for anyone reading this in Britain: Roobet is not a UK Gambling Commission operator, and nothing on this page is an invitation to use it.

The announcement landed badly with part of his audience. Esports.net reported that many users reacted negatively and compared the response to the criticism 100 Thieves received for renaming its Counter-Strike 2 team 100 Thieves Roobet. Other sponsors on record from before the casino deal are Monster Energy, where he is listed as an esports athlete, and Audio-Technica, according to Wikipedia.

I found no reported deal value, no earlier casino sponsor and no sign of a second casino partner in 2026. Any figure quoted for the Roobet contract in forums or on net-worth sites is unsourced.

The slots TimTheTatman plays

His reported slot sessions share one trait: very large stakes. A normal British slot player bets pennies; the sessions covered by the press involve base bets of $80 to $10,000 a spin, often with bonus features bought or boosted.

Gator Hunters by Nolimit City is the game behind his biggest reported win. Win.gg says he bet $80 and switched on the NoLimit booster, which pushed the cost per spin to $200 and improves the odds of landing scatters. We cover the sequel, Gator Hunters 2, but not the original.

Cursed Seas by Hacksaw Gaming produced a $140,380 free-spins round at a $200 base bet, according to Win.gg. The Luxe was a recommendation from Trainwreckstv: Win.gg reports he played it at $10,000 a spin, calling the veteran gambler the "Shaman of gambling". He also plays live casino shows, notably Crazy Time, where his first Roobet session hit over $500,000 on a single spin.

One more title comes from a clipper rather than a news outlet: a viewer clip from 6 October 2026 is labelled "198K Win Hex Appeal". The label is the clipper's, and I could not confirm the bet, the multiplier or the provider, so treat it as a pointer to what he was playing that week and not as a verified win.

Biggest wins

Gator Hunters, about $1.46 million, April 2026. Win.gg reported on 17 April 2026 that a fifth scatter tumbled in after four landed in the base game, triggering 15 Gator Spins. He was at $79,924 and a 150x multiplier with one spin left, and a super eater plus extra 10x and 2x bullets took the final payout to $1,463,124. On his $80 base bet that is about 18,289x by my arithmetic, or about 7,316x on the $200 boosted spin cost.

Crazy Time, over $500,000, January 2026. Not a slot, but the win that opened the partnership. Esports.net reported that his balance went from about $160,000 to over $1.5 million in the first of three sessions, and that it stood at just over $1 million after the third.

Cursed Seas, $140,380, February 2026. Win.gg published the story on 25 February 2026. The free spins multiplier climbed from 7x to 50x and later to 61x, and the recap screen showed 12 spins played for 701.9x the $200 bet.

The Luxe, $100,000, reported 4 May 2026. Win.gg reported on 4 May 2026 that three Maxwin symbols arrived at the end of the free spins. The game's top prize is 20,000x, but the platform's payout limit capped the result at $100,000 and the screen showed a "Limit Reached" notice. His balance moved from $775,063.61 to $865,063.61 after the $10,000 spin.

A clip from day 2 of the October trip is titled "MAX DYNAMITE WIN 400k - FLIGH MODE" and another "MAX WIN FLIGHT MODE 5051X". Both were cut by a viewer, so the figures are the clipper's words and unconfirmed. The first clip runs for 149 seconds.

Controversies and notable moments

The main controversy is the move itself. A streamer built on Fortnite, Warzone and charity marathons began promoting an offshore casino, and Esports.net recorded a negative reaction from many viewers. He has not, in anything I could open, addressed the criticism at length, so I will not put words in his mouth.

A second talking point is the swing of the first Kick run. Over three sessions in January his balance reportedly rose from about $160,000 to more than $1.5 million and then fell back to just over $1 million. Esports.net notes that the second and third sessions were less profitable, which is a fair reminder of how this content works.

Outside gambling, Wikipedia records one dispute: in May 2023 he asked for his Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II skin to be removed in support of Nickmercs, after Activision removed Nickmercs' skin following a tweet.

Where to watch and follow TimTheTatman

  • Kick: his casino and gaming streams, with past broadcasts under Videos
  • Twitch: his long-running channel
  • YouTube: videos and highlights
  • X: stream announcements
  • Instagram
  • TikTok

His Kick channel is the only one that carries the Roobet gambling streams. The ordinary gaming content sits on Twitch and YouTube.

A note on the big numbers

These sessions are played on a partner account at stakes most viewers will never see, and casino streamers often play with sponsored or house balances. Clips show the wins, not the long stretches of losing spins in between, and the January run shows that even a streamer on a $1.5 million balance can finish well below it. Roobet is an offshore casino that is not licensed in the UK. None of this is evidence of what you could win, and nobody should copy these bets.
