What is Oshi.io?
Oshi.io is a crypto casino that opened to the public on 12 November 2015 as a bitcoin-only site and now accepts a long list of coins. AskGamblers names Novatrix SRL, a Costa Rica company, as the operator and a Tobique Gaming Commission licence as the permit, and players score it 9.1 out of 10 from more than 1,300 reviews. Trustpilot is much harsher at 1.8. We rate it Mixed. It sits in our crypto casinos directory and in the Bitcoin casinos, Ethereum casinos, USDT and stablecoin casinos, altcoin casinos and crypto slots casinos lists.
- Launched: opened to customers on 12 November 2015 after a soft launch in October, according to trade press at the time
- Operator: Novatrix SRL, Costa Rica, per AskGamblers (one complaint there names Dama N.V., and an affiliate review names Dama N.V. too)
- Licence: Tobique Gaming Commission, number 0000002, per AskGamblers; we could not open the commission's register or Oshi's own terms to confirm it
- Coins: AskGamblers lists Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash, Tether, Dogecoin, TRON, Ripple, Cardano and Binance Coin as of 1 November 2026
- KYC: documents can be requested at any time
- Games: slots, live dealer and table games from a long provider list; whether there is a sportsbook is disputed between sources
- UK and US: reported as restricted by one review site, not confirmed from Oshi's own terms
- Our rating: Mixed
Our rating: Mixed
Oshi.io has a long record and a strong AskGamblers score, but an untidy operator and licence story, recurring withdrawal-delay reports and a 1.8 Trustpilot score keep it at Mixed.
We rate crypto casinos from public sources only: the licence and what it covers, who owns it, what players report about withdrawals and complaints, how clear its terms are and how long it has been trading. Last reviewed 1 November 2026. How we rate crypto casinos.
History and ownership
Oshi began as a bitcoin-specific casino backed by 90 Digital and SoftSwiss. Intergame reported on 13 November 2015 that it opened to new customers on Thursday 12 November after a soft launch in October, aimed first at desktop, and quoted chief executive Nick Garner, who compared the idea to Netflix, Amazon and Steam. The report names no licence at that stage.
The company on record today is less clear-cut. AskGamblers gives Novatrix SRL, registered in Costa Rica, as the operator, while one complaint on that page names Dama N.V., and the affiliate review at Coin360 gives Dama N.V. with a Curacao Gaming Authority licence. We read this as the operator and licence having changed over time, but we found no source that states a change date, so we do not claim one. We found no filing naming individual owners.
Games and sportsbook
AskGamblers says Oshi claims 120+ game providers, and lists RTP as "not stated" and RNG testing as "No", although the text says the games comply with RNG certification. Those two statements conflict on the same page, so we treat the certification as unconfirmed. Coin360, an affiliate page, says over 3,000 titles across slots, live dealer, table and crypto games from providers such as Pragmatic Play, Evolution Gaming and NetEnt.
Coin360 also says there is no sportsbook and no mobile app, which contradicts the sportsbook listing in our own starting notes. We could not open Oshi's site to settle it. For one of the provider names above, our page on Big Bass Vegas 1000 covers a Pragmatic Play slot; it is a pointer to our slot coverage and not a statement that the game is on Oshi today.
Deposits, withdrawals and KYC in practice
AskGamblers lists a €10 minimum deposit and a €20 minimum withdrawal. Withdrawal limits are 4,000 per day, 8,000 per week and 30,000 per month (euro or dollar), and progressive jackpots are paid as a lump sum. Crypto and e-wallet withdrawals are listed at 0 to 1 hours, bank transfers and cards at 1 to 5 days, and there are no weekend cashouts. Coin360 gives different limits, 15,000 euros a week and 50,000, so check the live terms.
Verification is listed at 0 to 72 hours, with documents uploaded under a "Documents" section and requestable at any time. In the complaints that AskGamblers shows, support is described as saying withdrawals were "in the queue", "under review" or "awaiting the Manager's Approval", and some players report an account closed without explanation. Those are player accounts, not findings.
Licence and safety
Oshi's licence, per AskGamblers, is Tobique Gaming Commission licence number 0000002. The Tobique Gaming Commission regulates remote gambling for the Tobique First Nation in New Brunswick, Canada. A register summary at Gambling Maps counted 190 licence holders and 196 licences, checked on 31 October 2026, and says the register itself, at thetgc.ca, is the authority. That page makes no statement about players outside Canada and mentions no complaints process, so a player should not assume one exists.
We could not open the commission's register, so we cannot confirm that licence 0000002 is Oshi's today. A Tobique licence is an offshore permit; it does not authorise gambling in Great Britain. We found no hack, regulator action or proof of reserves for Oshi, and no third-party audit we could open.
Bonuses and VIP
AskGamblers lists a welcome offer of a 100% match up to €1,000 plus 150 free spins, not available to Finnish players, with 40x wagering to be met within 7 days and free spins to be used within one day. Restricted games apply while a bonus is active. A VIP programme exists but is not detailed. Coin360 describes a welcome package, reload and daily bonuses and VIP cashback, with 45x wagering and a seven-day expiry, though its offer figures conflict internally.
On Trustpilot, reviewers report bonus codes not honoured, bonus balances cut after cashing out and short or high wagering requirements. These are unverified single reports. The takeaway is simple: a 40x or 45x requirement inside seven days is demanding, so read the terms before accepting any bonus.
Streamers who play on Oshi.io
No streamer on our roster is known to play at Oshi.io, and we found no confirmed sponsorship tied to a named streamer. Streamers who do play at crypto casinos often use sponsored balances, which says little about a typical player's results.
Complaints, controversies and what has gone wrong
As of 1 November 2026 AskGamblers lists 47 complaints, with its summary showing all 42 listed complaints resolved, an average response time of 2 days, an average duration of 8 days and an average amount of about $3,764. Most (27) concern payments. The "Resolved" label does not say how a case ended. The page shows no casino replies. Dated examples include a 1,800 euro withdrawal requested on 23 December and still pending two days later, a withdrawal pending since 28 October 2025 across two amounts totalling roughly NOK 63,510, and a series of withdrawal cancellations beginning around 18 October. The player rating is 9.1 out of 10 from 1,343 reviews and the CasinoRank 8.9 out of 10.
Trustpilot tells a harsher story: a 1.8 TrustScore from 111 reviews as of 1 November 2026, with 58% five-star and 32% one-star, and 8 reviews in the last 12 months. Reviewers allege delayed, rejected or frozen withdrawals, one describing a withdrawal rejected and a demand to wager deposits three times, plus unhelpful support, lengthy verification and, in a few cases, claims of rigged outcomes. Those claims are unverified opinions. Trustpilot says the company has not replied to negative reviews and has no recent history of asking for reviews, and some reviews appear promotional or unrelated, so the score is hard to interpret.
The good and the bad
The good
- A long track record: open since November 2015
- 9.1 out of 10 from 1,343 AskGamblers player reviews, and 42 of 42 listed complaints marked resolved
- Crypto withdrawals listed at 0 to 1 hours, with published daily, weekly and monthly limits
- No hack or regulator action found
The bad
- Operator and licensor have changed or are described inconsistently across sources, and we could not confirm the licence ourselves
- A 1.8 Trustpilot score with a third of reviews at one star, and no reply to negative reviews
- Repeated reports of withdrawals queued, held or cancelled
- Demanding bonus terms: 40x within 7 days, free spins within one day
- Offshore licence with no clear player dispute route
Our verdict
Oshi.io is a Mixed case. It has outlasted most crypto casinos and AskGamblers shows a strong score and resolved complaints, but the operator and licence story is untidy, withdrawal delays are a recurring theme and Trustpilot is poor. It does not earn Good until the licence can be confirmed and the complaint pattern fades.
A note for UK readers
Coin360, an affiliate review, lists the United Kingdom among Oshi's restricted countries, and AskGamblers says the site is restricted in the viewer's country without listing them. We could not read Oshi's own terms, so confirm the current position yourself. Crypto casinos like this one are almost never licensed by the UK Gambling Commission, and a casino must hold a UK licence to offer gambling to people in Great Britain. UK players are outside GAMSTOP and UKGC protections on such sites. Balances move with the market, transfers are final, payouts usually come in coin and bonuses carry wagering rules. Gambling is for over-18s only and is not income. Help is available from BeGambleAware.
FAQs
Is Oshi.io legit?
Oshi.io has operated since November 2015 and AskGamblers shows 42 of 42 listed complaints resolved and a 9.1 player score from 1,343 reviews. Trustpilot gives 1.8 from 111 reviews, and we could not confirm its licence ourselves. That split is why we rate it Mixed rather than Good.
Who owns Oshi.io?
AskGamblers names Novatrix SRL, registered in Costa Rica, as the operator, while one complaint names Dama N.V. and an affiliate review gives Dama N.V. as well. The casino launched in 2015 with backing from 90 Digital and SoftSwiss. We found no filing naming individual owners, so we do not name any.
How long do Oshi.io withdrawals take?
AskGamblers lists crypto and e-wallet withdrawals at 0 to 1 hours and bank or card payments at 1 to 5 days, with no weekend cashouts. Limits are 4,000 a day, 8,000 a week and 30,000 a month. Some players on Trustpilot and AskGamblers report withdrawals queued, held or cancelled for days, so reports vary.
What licence does Oshi.io have?
AskGamblers gives Tobique Gaming Commission licence number 0000002. The Tobique Gaming Commission regulates remote gambling for the Tobique First Nation in Canada. We could not open its register to confirm Oshi's entry, and an older affiliate review cites a Curacao licence instead, so check the casino's current footer.
Does Oshi.io accept UK players?
An affiliate review lists the United Kingdom among restricted countries, and AskGamblers says the site is restricted without listing where. We could not read Oshi's own terms. UK players would in any case be outside GAMSTOP and UK Gambling Commission protections, because the casino holds no UK licence that we could find.
