What is Goated?

Goated is a crypto casino and sportsbook that says it launched in June 2024, built around Solana and its own GOATED token. Its site, goated.com, is run by Mirai Kaze Ltd, a company registered in Anjouan, and the Anjouan validator showed its licence as valid when we checked it on 27 October 2026. It sits in our crypto casinos directory alongside the other brands we track.

  • Launched: June 2024, as the casino states it
  • Operator: Mirai Kaze Ltd, registration number 16180, Hamchako, Mutsamudu, Anjouan, Union of Comoros
  • Licence: Anjouan, licence ALSI-202411063-FI2, shown as valid on the Anjouan Gaming Board validator (27 October 2026)
  • Coins: BTC, ETH, USDT, USDC, SOL, TRX, LTC, XRP and BNB for deposits and withdrawals, plus the GOATED and SHFL tokens listed by Fair Gambling
  • KYC: tiered; name, date of birth and address are needed before betting or withdrawing, with ID and proof of address for higher limits
  • Games: 1,000+ slots, live casino, in-house Originals and a sportsbook
  • UK: not covered; the licence lists the United Kingdom as an excluded territory
  • US: not accepted on goated.com; US visitors are pointed to a separate social casino
  • Our rating: Mixed

The short version: user reviews are better than average for an offshore crypto site and its payout reports are mostly positive, but the licence is from Anjouan, the people behind the company are not named, and two years is not a long record.

Our rating: Mixed

Goated holds an Anjouan licence that verifies and has mostly positive payout reports, but the licence is offshore with limited protection, its owners are not named and its token rewards heavy wagering, so we rate it Mixed.

We rate crypto casinos from public sources only: the licence and what it covers, who owns it, what players report about withdrawals and complaints, how clear its terms are and how long it has been trading. Last reviewed 27 October 2026. How we rate crypto casinos.

History and ownership

Goated's own site says it launched in June 2024 and has taken more than $1 billion in wagers since; we could not verify the wagering figure independently. The company behind it is Mirai Kaze Ltd, registration number 16180, which the Anjouan validator lists at a PO box in Hamchako, Mutsamudu. No directors or beneficial owners are named in its legal footer, its terms or the licence record.

The token is the unusual part. A token listing on FXEmpire, written in the project's own voice, says Goated ran a presale through Metaplex that "sold out in 13 seconds" and that it is backed by Sandeep Nailwal of Polygon. We found no statement from Nailwal or an independent report confirming that backing, so treat it as the project's claim. The same page lists a maximum supply of 1 billion GOATED on Solana.

Goated grew through airdrops rather than a welcome bonus. A Bitrue explainer from January 2025 describes a points system where 2 million points a day were shared out by wagering and referral activity, and Airdrops.io says the first phase set aside 10% of supply, with winning and losing bets both counting towards points. A separate task-based campaign ran from 19 September to 11 October 2025, according to Coin Gabbar. Rewarding wagering volume with a tradeable token is the design critics point to, which we cover under complaints.

Games and sportsbook

Goated says it offers more than 1,000 slots and live tables from studios including Evolution, Pragmatic Play and Hacksaw Gaming, and Fair Gambling counts 1,200+ games from 34+ providers as of October 2026. Its lobby in late October 2026 featured Hacksaw titles such as Le Vampire, Wicked Grin and Minted Mike, and Backseat Gaming slots including Born In Hell and Monster Munch Stacks. That makes it a fit for our crypto slots casinos list.

Live casino leans on Evolution: Crazy Time, Lightning Roulette, Mega Wheel, Deal or No Deal and a long list of blackjack and baccarat tables were listed on the home page. Goated Originals are in-house games such as Dice, Mines, Plinko, Limbo and Keno, and several Fair Gambling user reviews single out the Keno game.

The sportsbook covers mainstream sports and esports with live betting. Fair Gambling gave Goated 6.5 out of 10 for both games and slots in its own scoring, lower than its scores for security and support, which matches the picture of a mid-sized lobby rather than one of the largest.

Deposits, withdrawals and KYC in practice

Goated is crypto-first: deposits go to a personal wallet address, and its FAQ lists nine coins for deposits and withdrawals, BTC, ETH, USDT, USDC, SOL, TRX, LTC, XRP and BNB, across chains including Solana, Ethereum, BNB Chain and Tron. That covers our Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, USDT and stablecoin and altcoin lists. Fair Gambling recorded a 0.001 ETH minimum withdrawal and a 0.001 ETH fee in October 2026, no stated withdrawal cap and "instant" payouts as the casino describes them.

KYC is tiered and is not optional for cashing out. Level 0 is email or wallet sign-in, Level 1 (name, date of birth and address) is required to bet and withdraw, Level 2 asks for government ID and Level 3 for proof of address for higher limits. Goated also says withdrawals require you to have wagered 100% of your deposit first, which it describes as an anti-money-laundering rule. Players who deposit and try to withdraw straight away should expect to be stopped.

Player reports on payouts are mostly good. On Trustpilot, reviewers in April, May and June 2026 describe fast, hassle-free withdrawals, one reporting about $3,000 cashed out within a week of opening an account. The main negative report on the first page, dated 16 August 2026, says about $450 of a roughly $6,000 balance was withheld over a suspected crash-game exploit; Goated replied on 23 September that the account was reviewed for exploit-related activity and the funds would not be released.

Its terms allow Goated to withhold or confiscate funds if it believes an account has been involved in fraud or multi-accounting, and it limits accounts to one per person, household, IP address, device or wallet. That is standard wording, but it means a shared flat or a shared wallet can trigger a block.

Licence and safety

Goated's licence checks out on the issuer's own system. The Anjouan Gaming Board validator, opened through the seal on Goated's site on 27 October 2026, names Mirai Kaze Ltd, lists goated.com, shows the status as VALID and gives licence number ALSI-202411063-FI2 under the Computer Gaming Licensing Act 007 of 2005. One caution: the validator returns "INVALID" for any domain queried without the seal's own ID, so a plain lookup by domain is not a reliable test for any Anjouan casino.

What the licence covers is narrow. The same validator page says it does not extend to Australia, Comoros, France, the Netherlands, Spain, the United Kingdom or the USA, and that complaints from players in those places fall outside its scope. Anjouan is an offshore licence with limited dispute routes for players, and it is not a licence from a regulator such as the UK Gambling Commission or the Malta Gaming Authority.

The Anjouan regime itself is under question. The Week reported on 20 October 2026, citing ABC News, The Guardian and Le Monde, that the island's authorities have called some supposed regulators "fictitious entities" and that the Comoros government has asked the British government for help unravelling what it calls an "unauthorised licensing regime". Nothing in that report names Goated, but it is a reason not to read the licence as strong protection.

On fairness, Goated publishes a provably fair system for its Originals: a hashed server seed, a client seed and a nonce combined with HMAC SHA-256, which players can check on its fairness page. That proves individual Originals results were not changed after the bet; it says nothing about third-party slots, which run on the studios' own certified maths. We found no independent audit and no proof of reserves. Fair Gambling's tracker put Goated's visible hot wallets at about $753,600 across seven chains in October 2026, which is a snapshot of on-chain balances, not an audit.

Bonuses and VIP

Goated has no traditional welcome bonus, a point one Fair Gambling user review makes. Instead it runs a nine-tier VIP programme, Copper through to Diamond, with instant rakeback, daily, weekly and monthly bonuses, level-up rewards, lossback from Platinum upwards and a VIP host at higher tiers. It also runs a $25,000 weekly race and a $2,500 daily race for top wagerers.

Fair Gambling reports a two-account test of its own, wagering $25,000 on 1% house-edge games from each, and reported rakeback worth about 29.5% of the house edge on the winning account and about 35.2% including lossback on the losing one. Trustpilot reviewers in May and September 2026 were less impressed, calling rewards small compared with rival sites and the early VIP steps too slow.

Every reward here is tied to how much you wager, and the GOATED airdrop worked the same way. Rakeback and lossback return a fraction of losses, not profit, and any bonus funds come with wagering rules that should be read before you accept them.

Complaints, controversies and what has gone wrong

We found no regulator action, court case, hack or shutdown involving Goated. We checked the Anjouan validator, Trustpilot, Fair Gambling's complaint tracker, news searches and token listings in October 2026. AskGamblers had no Goated page we could find, and Casino.guru blocked our access; Fair Gambling reports 0 unresolved Casino.guru complaints.

  • Airdrop and wagering (reported spring 2026): a Fair Gambling user review, shown as six months old in October 2026, says the site pushed players to gamble their airdrop allocation before the airdrop. It is one player's view, and Goated has not answered it publicly that we could find. The airdrop rules described by Bitrue and Airdrops.io did reward wagering volume.
  • Withheld balance (16 August 2026): a Trustpilot reviewer says about $450 was held back over a suspected crash exploit. Goated replied that the account was reviewed for exploit activity and the funds would not be released.
  • Fairness claims (13 September 2026): a Trustpilot reviewer alleges rigged slots and fake reviews. Goated denied it, pointing to its provably fair Originals. No evidence was given either way.
  • Fair Gambling counts: two complaint cases and two unresolved BitcoinTalk accusations as of October 2026, with no details shown on the page, so we cannot say what they concern.

Goated replies to most criticism: Trustpilot shows replies to 87% of negative reviews, usually within a month, though many replies are generic requests for a username.

The good and the bad

The good

  • Anjouan licence confirmed as valid on the issuer's validator, with company name and number
  • Trustpilot score of 4.2 from 142 reviews as of 27 October 2026, high for a crypto casino
  • Most payout reports describe fast crypto withdrawals
  • Provably fair Originals with a public verifier
  • Does not accept US players on goated.com and its terms ban using VPNs to hide your location

The bad

  • Offshore Anjouan licence only, with limited dispute routes and a licensing regime now publicly questioned
  • No named owners or directors behind Mirai Kaze Ltd
  • Growth driven by a token that rewards wagering volume
  • No independent audit or proof of reserves
  • About two years of history

Our verdict. Goated has a cleaner public record than many crypto casinos its age: a licence that verifies, payout reports that are mostly positive and no regulator action or hack we could find. Against that, Anjouan offers little protection if a dispute goes wrong, the owners are anonymous, and a token airdrop that pays out for wagering gives players a reason to bet more than they would. Its rating is Mixed, and it would need a longer clean record, named ownership or a stronger licence to move up.

Goated for UK readers

Goated is not licensed by the UK Gambling Commission, and a casino needs that licence to offer gambling to people in Great Britain. Its Anjouan licence lists the United Kingdom as an excluded territory, so UK players are not covered by it, and on an offshore site you are outside GAMSTOP self-exclusion and UKGC complaint and fairness rules. The same is true of almost every crypto casino.

Crypto adds its own risks. Your balance rises and falls with the coin's price, blockchain transfers cannot be reversed, withdrawals usually come back in the coin you deposited, and a token like GOATED can lose value quickly. Gambling is for over-18s only and is not a way to make money; if it stops being fun, BeGambleAware offers free, confidential help.

FAQs

Is Goated legit?

Goated is a real, trading crypto casino run by Mirai Kaze Ltd, and its Anjouan licence ALSI-202411063-FI2 showed as valid on the Anjouan validator on 27 October 2026. Most Trustpilot reviewers report being paid. The caveats are an offshore licence with limited player protection, owners who are not named, and a track record that only goes back to June 2024.

Who owns Goated?

Goated is operated by Mirai Kaze Ltd, registration number 16180, with a registered address in Hamchako, Mutsamudu, on the Comoros island of Anjouan. The company does not name its directors or owners on its site or in its licence record. A token listing written by the project says it is backed by Polygon co-founder Sandeep Nailwal, but we found no independent confirmation.

How fast are Goated withdrawals?

Goated describes its crypto payouts as instant once checks are done, and Trustpilot reviewers in 2026 mostly report fast withdrawals. You must complete Level 1 verification and wager 100% of your deposit before you can withdraw. Fair Gambling recorded a 0.001 ETH minimum and fee in October 2026. Blockchain confirmation times depend on the coin you use.

Does Goated require KYC?

Yes, for withdrawals. Goated uses four levels: email or wallet sign-in at Level 0, name, date of birth and address at Level 1 before betting or withdrawing, government ID at Level 2 and proof of address at Level 3 for higher limits. Its terms also allow extra checks before a withdrawal if it suspects a breach of its rules.

Can UK players use Goated?

Goated is not licensed by the UK Gambling Commission, and its Anjouan licence lists the United Kingdom as an excluded territory, so it is not authorised to serve players in Great Britain. On an offshore site like this you would also be outside GAMSTOP and UKGC protections. US players are not accepted on goated.com either.

What is the GOATED token?

GOATED is Goated's own Solana token, with a stated maximum supply of 1 billion. Players earned allocations through airdrops that, according to Bitrue and Airdrops.io, rewarded wagering on the casino and sportsbook. One Fair Gambling reviewer says the site pushed players to gamble their allocation before the airdrop. Like any small token, its price can move sharply.
