What is Cocobet?
Cocobet is a crypto casino and sportsbook that opened in June 2026, run by NewEra Information Technology N.V. under a Curaçao Gaming Authority licence. The brand is marketed as cocobet.com, which now redirects to cocobet.win. It has a large slot library and a generous-looking first-week offer, but only a few months of history and a handful of reviews, most of them complaints.
- Launched: June 2026, according to CryptoSlate (its X account dates from August 2023; its Trustpilot profile was claimed in June 2026)
- Operator: NewEra Information Technology N.V., Curaçao company number 163214; payment agent named as Eris Mundi Limited of Limassol, Cyprus
- Licence: Curaçao Gaming Authority B2C licence OGL/2024/135/0139, listed as indefinite on the register updated 20 October 2026
- Coins: 14 for deposits and 11 for withdrawals, including BTC, ETH, USDT, USDC, LTC, DOGE, XRP, TRX, BNB, POL and SOL (CryptoSlate, October 2026)
- KYC: none to register; discretionary checks, often at the first big withdrawal
- Games: about 11,500 casino games, live dealer tables, third-party crash games and a sportsbook
- UK and US: US restricted; the site showed us a region block from the UK
- Our rating: Too new to rate
It sits in our crypto slots casinos, crypto live dealer casinos, crypto sportsbooks and altcoin casinos lists, and in the wider crypto casino guide. This page is built from public sources read in October 2026, including the regulator's own register; we have not played there.
Our rating: Too new to rate
Cocobet holds a current Curaçao licence and a large game library, but it opened only in June 2026, names no owners, and most of its few reviews report accounts closed after withdrawals. Too new to rate.
We rate crypto casinos from public sources only: the licence and what it covers, who owns it, what players report about withdrawals and complaints, how clear its terms are and how long it has been trading. Last reviewed 21 October 2026. How we rate crypto casinos.
History and ownership
Cocobet is a new brand on an older licence. The licence number carries a 2024 prefix, and the site footer has been reported to give an issue date of 21 June 2024, two years before the casino opened. The CGA's online gaming licence register, updated on 20 October 2026, shows the same licence held by NewEra Information Technology N.V., company registration 163214, with an issue date of 24 December 2025 and no expiry. That later date fits the register's pattern: many 2024 licences were reissued as indefinite licences on the same day.
Whoever owns NewEra is not public. CryptoSlate's company profile found no named founders, beneficial owners or shareholders, and we found no filings or interviews that name them. CryptoSlate also reports that the casino's terms still cite the old Curaçao Gaming Control Board under the 1993 ordinance, while its company page cites the newer authority and law, a sign the paperwork has not been fully updated.
The Cocobet X account was created in August 2023, almost three years before the June 2026 launch CryptoSlate reports, so the name was reserved well before the casino opened. As of October 2026 it had about 550 followers.
Games and sportsbook
Slots dominate. CryptoSlate's review, updated on 21 October 2026, counted 11,506 games: about 10,950 slots, 500 live tables and 40 instant games, from around 118 slot studios and 16 live studios. The biggest suppliers were Pragmatic Play with 761 games, Playtech with 365, Red Tiger with 335 and Yggdrasil with 279. Cocobet's own profiles give lower totals of 6,000 and 8,000, so the count depends on who you ask.
Pragmatic Play's catalogue includes recent releases such as Sweet Bonanza Super Scatter and Gates of Olympus 2500, though availability varies by region, so check the lobby. CryptoSlate notes that game RTPs are not shown in the lobby or on game pages.
There are no in-house games. The "Cocobet Originals" section holds 15 third-party titles, and provably fair checks are only as good as each supplier's: Spribe's Aviator includes its full verifier, while JetX uses a certified RNG without player verification. The sportsbook covers football, tennis, basketball, esports, horse racing and more, with bet builder, early cash-out and live betting, according to CryptoSlate's company profile.
Deposits, withdrawals and KYC in practice
Cocobet is effectively crypto-only for cash-outs. CryptoSlate found 14 deposit coins but only 11 withdrawal coins, since DAI, Shiba Inu and Chainlink are deposit-only. Fiat was limited to Skrill for deposits and Binance ID transfers for withdrawals, and the list varies by country. Replying to a Trustpilot complaint on 28 September 2026, Cocobet said only crypto was then available for deposits and withdrawals.
The limits are clear but processing times are not. Deposits start at the equivalent of $3, and withdrawals run from $20 to $15,000 per request, with no fees shown, according to CryptoSlate. PokerListings says withdrawals can arrive within 15 minutes, but only once internal review and any KYC are complete. Cocobet itself publishes no processing time, despite "instant withdrawals" in its marketing.
Two rules catch players out. Deposits must be wagered at least once before withdrawal, or 20% is deducted, and accounts dormant for 12 months are charged €10 a month, both according to CryptoSlate's reading of the terms.
KYC is light at the door and heavier at the cash-out. Registration needs only an email and password, or a Google login. Verification is at Cocobet's discretion, with no published threshold, and can include ID, proof of address, source of funds and a video call. A Trustpilot reviewer on 4 September 2026 says a $100 deposit grew to about $350, the withdrawal was rejected and KYC demanded, and calls the "No KYC" advertising misleading. Cocobet replied on 17 September that KYC is not routine but is reserved under its terms for security checks.
Licence and safety
The licence checks out on the regulator's own register. The CGA's register of 20 October 2026 lists OGL/2024/135/0139 as a B2C licence held by NewEra Information Technology N.V., status indefinite. NewEra does not appear on the CGA's enforcement register of 14 September 2026, which lists revoked and suspended licences.
A Curaçao licence is an offshore licence. It requires identity checks and AML controls, and the CGA runs a complaints policy, but it gives players far less than a UK or Maltese licence: no compensation fund and limited, slow routes for disputes. It is not a guarantee that any given withdrawal will be paid.
The regulator has had its own trouble. In a statement of 18 October 2026, the CGA said a researcher had accessed its online licensing portal without permission between December 2025 and September 2026 and published data belonging to licence holders; the portal has been taken offline and is being replaced. Protos reported on 24 September 2026 that the leak covered more than 40,000 documents on over 1,000 operators. Cocobet and NewEra were not named in that report, and we found nothing linking player data at Cocobet to the breach.
We found no published audit or proof of reserves. CryptoSlate notes that Cocobet names no third-party custodian for crypto and that two of its self-exclusion pages give conflicting instructions.
Bonuses and VIP
The headline offer is a cashback rather than a match. CryptoSlate reports that Cocobet returns 50% of your net losses from the first seven days as cash, with no wagering and no stated cap. The first deposit also brings free spins worth $0.20 each: 100 for deposits of $100 to $249.99 and 500 for $250 or more, with 3x wagering on the deposit plus spin winnings, on slots only.
The 3x figure is low by crypto casino standards, but read the exclusions. Table games and undefined "low-risk slots" do not count, bets at odds below 1.30 may not count, and cashing out early forfeits bonus winnings. The VIP club has six tiers, with rakeback of 4% to 20% of points value and weekly and monthly cashback; CryptoSlate estimates the real return at about 0.4% to 2% of slot wagering. Any bonus carries wagering rules, so treat it as playing time, not extra money.
Complaints, controversies and what has gone wrong
The few reviews so far are mostly about withdrawals that ended in closed accounts. On Trustpilot Cocobet scored 2.6 out of 5 from seven reviews as of 21 October 2026, six of them one-star. Trustpilot shows replies to 83% of negative reviews and notes that Cocobet has not been inviting reviews, so the sample is small and self-selected.
- 27 June 2026: a player says the account was closed and funds taken after a first withdrawal, with no reason given. Cocobet replied on 29 June that closures follow a review under its terms and asked for the username.
- 28 July 2026: a player says winnings from a football bet were removed and the account closed after a withdrawal request. Cocobet replied on 3 August that its system had detected activity from a restricted region.
- 4 September 2026: the "No KYC" complaint above, about a balance of around $350.
- 11 September 2026: a player reports delayed transactions and an account blocked after calling the site a scam. Cocobet apologised on 17 September and asked for details.
- 19 September 2026: a player says deposits were offered by several methods but withdrawals only in crypto. Cocobet replied that it is a crypto site and only crypto is currently available.
One review, from 8 October 2026, is positive, praising easy deposits and withdrawals and the cashback offers. We found no regulator action, court case, hack or news story about Cocobet itself, and searches turned up no Cocobet complaints on AskGamblers or Casino.guru.
One thing we flag as a red flag: Cocobet's own X profile describes it as "VPN-friendly". That sits badly with its terms, which let it close accounts for play from restricted regions, and with its 3 August reply to a player whose winnings were removed for exactly that reason. A casino that invites players round its own country blocks and then confiscates their winnings for it is a risk, whatever the licence says.
The good and the bad
The good
- A Curaçao licence listed as indefinite on the regulator's register, and no entry on its enforcement register
- A big slot library from major studios, plus live tables and a sportsbook
- A first-week 50% lossback with no wagering, and low 3x wagering on the spins
- Clear limits: $20 to $15,000 per withdrawal, no fees shown
- Public replies to most complaints
The bad
- Only a few months old, with no named owners
- Six of seven Trustpilot reviews are one-star, mostly about closed accounts after withdrawals
- Marketed as "VPN-friendly" on X while closing accounts for restricted-region play
- KYC demanded at withdrawal despite low-friction sign-up
- A 20% charge on deposits not wagered once, and a dormant-account fee
- An offshore licence whose regulator has just suffered a major data breach
Our verdict. Cocobet is too new to rate. Its licence is genuine and current on the CGA register, its catalogue is large and its first-week lossback is unusually simple. But it has traded for only about four months, its owners are not named, and nearly all of its few reviews describe accounts closed or funds withheld after a withdrawal request. Its own "VPN-friendly" marketing, set against its practice of closing accounts for restricted-region play, is the most serious concern on the record so far.
For UK readers
Cocobet holds no UK Gambling Commission licence, and a casino needs one to offer gambling to people in Great Britain. When we opened cocobet.win from a UK connection on 21 October 2026, it showed an "Access Restricted In Your Region" page, although the UK was not in the part of its restricted list that CryptoSlate could see. Either way, UK players there would be outside GAMSTOP and UKGC protections, including their complaint and dispute routes.
With any crypto casino, balances move with the market, blockchain transfers cannot be reversed, you are usually paid in the coin you deposited, and bonuses carry wagering rules. Gambling is for over-18s and is not a way to earn money. If it stops being fun, BeGambleAware offers free, confidential help.

FAQs
Is Cocobet legit?
Cocobet holds a genuine Curaçao Gaming Authority licence, OGL/2024/135/0139, listed as indefinite on the regulator's register in the name of NewEra Information Technology N.V. But it only opened in June 2026, its owners are not named, and six of its seven Trustpilot reviews are one-star complaints about withdrawals. We rate it too new to judge.
Who owns Cocobet?
Cocobet is operated by NewEra Information Technology N.V., a Curaçao company with registration number 163214, which holds its licence. Payments are reported to go through Eris Mundi Limited in Limassol, Cyprus. No founders, directors or beneficial owners have been named publicly, and we found no interviews or filings that identify them.
How fast are Cocobet withdrawals?
Cocobet publishes no withdrawal time, despite advertising instant withdrawals. PokerListings says crypto payouts can land within 15 minutes once internal review and any KYC are complete. Withdrawals run from $20 to $15,000 per request with no fees shown, and deposits not wagered at least once lose 20% on withdrawal.
Is Cocobet really a no-KYC casino?
Not at withdrawal. Cocobet needs only an email to sign up, but its terms let it ask for ID, proof of address, source of funds or a video call at any time. A September 2026 Trustpilot reviewer says KYC was demanded when withdrawing about $350, and Cocobet replied that checks are reserved under its terms.
Can UK players use Cocobet?
Cocobet holds no UK Gambling Commission licence, so it cannot legally offer gambling to people in Great Britain. When we opened its site from the UK in October 2026, it showed an access restricted page. UK players on sites like this are outside GAMSTOP and the UKGC complaint and dispute routes.
What is the Cocobet welcome offer?
Cocobet's main offer returns 50% of net losses from your first seven days as cash with no wagering, according to CryptoSlate. A first deposit of $100 or more also brings 100 or 500 free spins at $0.20 each, with 3x wagering on the deposit and spin winnings, on slots only.
