Duel.com review: licence, withdrawals, complaints and verdict

A zero-house-edge crypto casino with a verified Anjouan licence and genuinely low odds against the player, set against a 2.1 Trustpilot score, an unproven lawsuit from X and a run of shock-marketing controversies.

What is Duel.com?

Duel.com is a crypto casino and sportsbook built around one selling point: in-house games with no house edge. It was founded by Ossi Ketola, known online as Monarch, who also founded the skin-gambling site CSGOEmpire, and it is run by Immortal Snail LLC of Nevis under an offshore licence from Anjouan. Its odds are unusually good for players; its marketing, its X accounts and its reviews are a different story. It sits on our crypto casinos hub.

  • Launched: 2025, per Wikipedia and Casino.org; its Anjouan licence dates from November 2024, and X's lawsuit calls it "then-new" in March 2024
  • Operator: Immortal Snail LLC, Nevis, company number L22982, per Duel's terms
  • Licence: Anjouan, ALSI-202411026-FI1, listed as valid on the Anjouan register until 3 November 2026
  • Coins: 16 coins on 13 chains, per FairGambling as of 21 September 2026; balances are held in crypto
  • KYC: none for normal play, but Duel may require ID before a withdrawal
  • Games: 100% RTP originals including live blackjack, about 4,300 third-party slots and live games, and a sportsbook
  • UK and US: both barred in its terms
  • Our rating: Mixed

Our rating: Mixed

Duel.com pairs genuinely player-friendly zero-edge odds and a verified Anjouan licence with a 2.1 Trustpilot score, an unproven lawsuit from X and repeated marketing controversies, so we rate it Mixed.

We rate crypto casinos from public sources only: the licence and what it covers, who owns it, what players report about withdrawals and complaints, how clear its terms are and how long it has been trading. Last reviewed 21 October 2026. How we rate crypto casinos.

History and ownership

Duel is unusually open about who is behind it. Its "What Duel?" page is written in the first person by Monarch, who says he ran CSGOEmpire for more than nine years before moving his focus to Duel, and that the business is backed by a "9-figure bankroll" with a team of about 100 people. Those are his claims; we found no filings that show the bankroll.

The legal entity is Immortal Snail LLC, registered in Nevis as L22982 with an office in Charlestown, according to Duel's terms of service updated on 6 October 2026. The same company is named in the Anjouan licence register, in X's lawsuit and in Casino.org's reporting, so the ownership chain is consistent across sources.

The launch date is muddier. Wikipedia and Casino.org give 2025. The Anjouan register shows the licence was issued on 4 November 2024, and X's complaint, as reported by Casino.org, says the @duel handle was used to promote a "then-new" Duel casino in March 2024. Duel's own pages on zero edge and bonuses are dated July 2025. A soft launch in 2024 and a public push in 2025 would fit all of these, but we could not confirm the exact date.

Duel has also put money into events. In August 2026 it backed Duel Arena, a combat sports show in Orlando, and offered betting markets on it, which drew criticism covered below.

Games and sportsbook

The originals are the reason Duel exists. Its lobby lists Dice, Blackjack, Plinko, Crash, Mines, Beef, Keno, Castle Roulette, Video Poker, Groomer's Van, Rock Paper Scissors, Limbo and Hilo, each labelled "100% RTP" as of October 2026, plus a live blackjack table. Duel's own explainer says zero edge only works with bet limits, because the house would otherwise go bust on variance, and admits blackjack still earns money from players who play badly.

FairGambling counted more than 4,363 games from 21 providers as of 21 September 2026, and says 10 originals can be checked with its provably fair verifier. The third-party lobby includes Evolution and Pragmatic Play live games, and slots from Pragmatic Play, Hacksaw Gaming and Nolimit City, among them Gates of Olympus 2500, Sweet Bonanza 2500, The Dog House Megaways 1000 and Duck Hunters 2. Those slots keep their normal house edge; Duel's answer is rakeback, covered below. This mix puts Duel among our provably fair casinos and crypto live casinos.

There is a sportsbook too. Duel's policy pages include sports betting rules from Betby, the supplier FairGambling also names, and FairGambling measured an average sports margin of 1.96%, low for the market. Duel says a zero-edge peer-to-peer sportsbook and prediction market is in development.

The live blackjack table has been the most visible product and the most troubled. It was shut on 18 September 2026 after an intruder reportedly entered the building, according to Win.gg.

Deposits, withdrawals and KYC in practice

Duel is crypto-first and light on paperwork, but not KYC-free. FairGambling lists 16 coins on 13 chains, no minimum deposit or withdrawal, no withdrawal limit and "instant payouts" as of September 2026. Duel's terms say it charges no deposit or withdrawal fees, though network fees apply, and that your balance is held in the coin you deposited, so its dollar value moves with the market.

The terms also reserve the right to ask for identity checks before processing a withdrawal, and say Duel is not liable for lost access to funds if you refuse. Its privacy terms name Checkin.com for document checks and SEON for fraud screening. Players should treat "no KYC" as no KYC until Duel decides otherwise; a Trustpilot reviewer in September 2026 says he was asked for ID once his balance grew, and then had bets voided over alleged multi-accounting.

Payout reports split sharply. A July 2026 Trustpilot review praises fast, easy deposits and withdrawals. Other reviews from July to October 2026 report balances drained from accounts or pending funds withheld. Duel's replies on Trustpilot usually blame weak or reused passwords and missing two-factor authentication for drained accounts, and say they will not share how they detect rule breaches. Duel supports 2FA on login and on withdrawals, per FairGambling; switching it on is the obvious first step for anyone with a balance there.

Licence and safety

The licence is real and offshore, and it is up for renewal. We found ALSI-202411026-FI1 on the Anjouan register as valid, issued to Immortal Snail LLC on 4 November 2024 for duel.com, with an expiry date of 3 November 2026. Duel's terms quote the same number. Readers should check the register after that date; we will report on the renewal in Duel's weekly news.

An Anjouan licence lets the operator take players from countries that do not ban it. It offers no independent ombudsman, and Duel's terms send disputes to arbitration in Anjouan under Anjouan law, which is a long way from most players.

On fairness, the zero-edge maths can be checked. Ten originals use a provably fair seed system, per FairGambling, so a player can verify that a result was not changed after the bet. That does not cover the live blackjack table or third-party slots, which rely on their providers. FairGambling lists a public hot wallet and proof of reserves, with hot wallet balances it put at about $10.2 million in September 2026; we found no independent audit of Duel's finances.

Duel's own pages argue against the industry norm of fake balances, saying every bet shown on the site is real money. We could not verify that claim.

Bonuses and VIP

Duel does not run welcome bonuses, and says so loudly: its "Why Bonuses Suck" page argues that bonuses are paid for by higher house edges and wagering traps. Win.gg's review agrees there is no welcome or no-deposit offer.

What it offers instead is rakeback. Duel says it instantly returns 50% of the house edge you pay on slots, so a slot with a 4% edge works out at 2%. FairGambling lists VIP tiers from Bronze to Diamond and a leaderboard and raffle pool of $1,250,000, and Duel runs a referral programme. Rakeback lowers the cost of play; it does not change the fact that slots still lose money over time.

Streamers who play on Duel.com

Duel uses guest dealers and influencers rather than a classic streamer roster. Wikipedia lists Clavicular and Mike Tyson among the personalities who have dealt at its live tables. Win.gg reports that Clavicular is heavily associated with Duel Blackjack, has dealt in a live game and has played it many times on stream. None of them are on our streamer roster yet.

The streamer Sneako is linked to Duel through a dispute, not as a player: in September 2026 Duel posted an AI-generated video of him praying at a blackjack table, which he objected to. Duel's FAQ says it is open to sponsorship deals with influencers who share its brand values. Deals with streamers are rarely published, and streamers often play with balances a casino provides, so their results say nothing about what an ordinary player can expect.

Complaints, controversies and what has gone wrong

Duel has more controversy than most casinos its age. None of it is a regulator finding, and the lawsuit is unproven, but the list is long. As of 21 October 2026:

  • X lawsuit, 28 September 2026: X Corp sued Immortal Snail LLC and Ossi Ketola in the US District Court for the Northern District of Texas, Casino.org reported. X alleges account takeovers of @duel and other handles from March 2024, payments to X staff and contractors for internal information and reinstatements, and a $300,000 offer to an employee to restore suspended accounts after X suspended them around 21 October 2025. Immortal Snail had not responded when the story ran; it had earlier filed an arbitration claim to have @duel, @monarch and @castle restored. The allegations have not been tested in court. The @duel account was still suspended on 21 October 2026.
  • Duel Arena, 29 August 2026: at the Duel-backed kickboxing event in Orlando, attendees were filmed making Nazi salutes and a swastika flag was removed, Casino.org reported. City officials condemned the event. Duel offered betting markets on the bouts, which observers called a conflict of interest; Casino.org found no evidence that results were compromised. It also reported that a Duel X post about a Black fighter was deleted after criticism. No statement from Duel was reported.
  • Sneako video and blackjack shutdown, September 2026: Duel's AI video of Sneako drew a backlash. Duel said its own social team ran the campaign and the employee was fired. On 18 September Duel closed its live blackjack table indefinitely after an intruder reportedly entered the building, per Win.gg.
  • Trustpilot: Duel's page shows 2.1 out of 5 from 163 reviews, with 66% one-star and 27% five-star. Complaints from July to October 2026 allege rigged blackjack, keno and limbo results, drained balances, withheld winnings and bet limits cut. Duel replied to 96% of negative reviews, citing its provably fair system and account security.
  • Complaint sites: FairGambling records 7 complaint cases, 1 unresolved Casino.guru complaint and 3 unresolved scam accusations on BitcoinTalk, as of 21 September 2026. We found no AskGamblers listing.

Casino.org also lists earlier stunts, including a blackjack dealer in Nazi attire during streams and a 40-day fasting challenge that players could bet on. Rigging claims about the originals are allegations from users; the provably fair system lets players test individual results, and we found no independent finding that Duel's games are rigged.

The good and the bad, and our verdict

The good

  • Zero house edge on its originals, within bet limits, and provably fair checks on ten of them
  • 50% instant rakeback on slots instead of wagering-heavy bonuses
  • A licence we confirmed on the Anjouan register and an operator named in its terms
  • No withdrawal minimums or limits listed, and no fees charged by Duel
  • A low sportsbook margin, measured at 1.96% by FairGambling

The bad

  • A 2.1 Trustpilot score with rigging, drained-account and withheld-winnings allegations
  • An unproven federal lawsuit from X alleging bribes and account takeovers
  • Shock marketing, including the Duel Arena event and the Sneako video
  • An offshore licence that expires on 3 November 2026, with disputes sent to Anjouan arbitration
  • KYC that can be demanded at withdrawal time

Our verdict. Duel offers some of the best odds in online gambling on paper, and its licence and operator check out. Against that sit a poor Trustpilot record, a federal lawsuit whose allegations are serious though unproven, and a marketing style that keeps producing controversy. None of this is a regulator finding, so we rate it Mixed rather than Poor, and we will revisit that if the lawsuit, the licence renewal or the complaint record changes. Anyone who plays there should turn on two-factor authentication and withdraw winnings rather than leave them on the site. It is also listed among our streamer casinos and Bitcoin casinos.

Duel.com for UK readers

Duel does not accept UK players. Its terms list the United Kingdom among barred countries, along with the United States, France, the Netherlands, Germany, Spain and Australia, and its site shows UK visitors a notice saying it does not accept players from the United Kingdom. It holds no UK Gambling Commission licence, which any operator needs to offer gambling in Great Britain; the UKGC public register lists those that do. Sites like Duel sit outside GAMSTOP, UK complaint routes and UK safer gambling rules.

Crypto adds its own risks. Duel's terms say balances are held in crypto, so their value rises and falls with the market, and transfers cannot be reversed if you send to the wrong address or network. Even a zero-edge game has wild swings, which Duel's own maths pages make clear. Gambling is for over-18s and is never a way to earn money; if it stops being fun, BeGambleAware offers free, confidential help.

FAQs

Is Duel.com legit?

Duel.com is a licensed operation with real controversies. Immortal Snail LLC holds Anjouan licence ALSI-202411026-FI1, listed as valid until 3 November 2026. Against that, Duel scores 2.1 on Trustpilot, faces an unproven lawsuit from X alleging bribes and account takeovers, and has drawn criticism for its marketing. We rate it Mixed.

Does Duel really have a 0% house edge?

On its own originals, yes, within bet limits. Duel labels games like Dice, Plinko, Mines and Blackjack as 100% RTP and says the limits stop variance bankrupting it. Ten originals can be checked with a provably fair system. Third-party slots keep their normal edge, softened by 50% rakeback, and blackjack still profits from poor play.

Who owns Duel.com?

Duel.com is owned and operated by Immortal Snail LLC, registered in Nevis as L22982, according to its terms. It was founded by Ossi Ketola, known as Monarch, who also founded the skin-gambling site CSGOEmpire. X Corp's September 2026 lawsuit names both the company and Ketola as defendants.

Does Duel.com require KYC?

Not for normal play, but it can. Duel's terms reserve the right to request identity checks before processing a withdrawal and say it is not liable if you lose access to funds by refusing. It uses Checkin.com for document checks. Trustpilot reviewers report ID requests after large balances, so do not rely on staying anonymous.

Why is Duel being sued by X?

X Corp sued Immortal Snail LLC and Ossi Ketola in Texas on 28 September 2026. It alleges takeovers of X accounts including @duel, payments to X staff for information and reinstatements, and a $300,000 offer to restore suspended accounts. The allegations are unproven, and Immortal Snail had not responded when Casino.org reported it.

Can UK players use Duel.com?

No. Duel's terms bar the United Kingdom and the site shows UK visitors a notice saying it does not accept UK players. It has no UK Gambling Commission licence, so it cannot lawfully offer gambling in Great Britain, and its players have no GAMSTOP or UK complaint protection.
