1xBit review: licence, withdrawals, complaints and verdict

A ten-year-old crypto-only casino and sportsbook with a huge lobby, an offshore Anjouan licence and a long run of player reports about closed accounts after wins.

What is 1xBit?

1xBit is a cryptocurrency-only casino and sportsbook that has traded since 2016. It started as a Bitcoin-first site and now takes more than two dozen coins, with no fiat option at all. It sits in our Bitcoin casinos list and is one of the older brands on our crypto casinos hub.

One thing to clear up first: 1xBit is not 1xBet. CryptoSlate's profile, which 1xBit has claimed and verified, states that 1xBet is a separate fiat bookmaker founded in 2007, run by a different company under a different licence. Reviews and complaints about one do not automatically apply to the other.

  • Launched: 2016
  • Operator: Oceaventure Limited, British Virgin Islands, company no. 2156948 (as listed by CryptoSlate)
  • Licence: Anjouan (Comoros), no. ALSI-202409027-FI2, issued September 2024 and valid to September 2027, as reported by CryptoSlate from the register; we could not open the licensor's validator ourselves
  • Coins: 27 currencies as of October 2026, including BTC, ETH, USDT, USDC, LTC, DOGE, SOL, TRX, XRP and XMR
  • KYC: no documents at sign-up; checks can be requested at withdrawal
  • Games: 10,000+ casino games, originals, live dealers and a sportsbook
  • UK and US: both restricted by the casino

Our rating: Mixed

A ten-year-old crypto casino with a huge lobby and open bonus rules, but only an offshore Anjouan licence and a long, unanswered run of player reports about accounts closed after wins. No regulator or court finding, so Mixed, with real caution.

We rate crypto casinos from public sources only: the licence and what it covers, who owns it, what players report about withdrawals and complaints, how clear its terms are and how long it has been trading. Last reviewed 20 October 2026. How we rate crypto casinos.

History and ownership

1xBit launched in 2016, when Bitcoin-only betting sites were still a niche. Over the following decade it widened from Bitcoin to dozens of coins and grew its game lobby past 10,000 titles, according to CryptoSlate and PokerListings.

The company named as owner and operator is Oceaventure Limited, registered in Road Town, Tortola, British Virgin Islands, under company number 2156948. AskGamblers and SlotCatalog list the same operator. We found no public filings that name the people behind it, so ownership beyond the company name is not transparent.

The brand's online footprint is messy. CryptoSlate's review warns that 1xBit runs several domains and mirrors, and searches for the name turn up many unofficial pages and social accounts using it. An X account called "1xBit Official" opened in May 2026 points to a different domain from 1xbit.com and claims the brand began in 2019, which contradicts every other source. Players should treat lookalike domains and social accounts with suspicion.

Games and sportsbook

The lobby is the main selling point. CryptoSlate counted more than 10,000 games from 83 provider entries in its October 2026 update, including 12 live casino providers, with Pragmatic Play supplying 526 of 833 live tables. PokerListings names studios such as PG Soft, Betsoft, Evoplay, Endorphina, Hacksaw Gaming and Mancala Gaming, plus live studios Vivo Gaming, LuckyStreak and SA Gaming.

Some big names are missing: CryptoSlate notes that Evolution, NetEnt, Play'n GO and Nolimit City were not listed. Pragmatic slots are there; CryptoSlate checked the theoretical RTP in the game panel of Sweet Bonanza Super Scatter at 94.48%, below the higher settings the game can run at. RTP is not shown on game tiles, so players have to open each game to see which version they are on.

There are 42 originals, 12 carrying 1xBit's name, covering Plinko, Mines, Limbo, Crash, Dice, HiLo, Keno and similar. CryptoSlate found a provably fair hash-chain panel on 1xBit Plinko. The sportsbook covers mainstream sports and esports, which is why we also list it among crypto sportsbooks and crypto slots casinos.

Deposits, withdrawals and KYC in practice

On paper the cashier is generous. As of October 2026 CryptoSlate lists 27 currencies, multi-network USDT and USDC, a 1 USDT minimum deposit, minimum withdrawals of roughly 3 to 10 USDT depending on the network, and a maximum of 350,000 USDT or 10 BTC per transaction, with no published daily or weekly cap. Deposits carry no fee; small withdrawals do, such as 2.49 USDT on TRC20 below 50 USDT.

Stated speeds do not agree with each other. The cashier says a few minutes to an hour, an overview table says 24 hours, and CryptoSlate found that the terms set no payout time at all. AskGamblers lists 0 to 24 hours. Every deposit must be wagered at least once before it can be withdrawn.

KYC is risk-based. No documents are needed to open an account, but the security team can ask for identity, address or payment documents at withdrawal if an account is flagged for misuse, a mismatch between deposits and betting, or suspected bonus abuse. No threshold is published. This is where most player complaints start: reviewers describe verification or "security review" requests that drag on without a clear outcome. Because of that gap between the no-KYC sign-up and checks at cash-out, we do not list 1xBit among no-KYC casinos.

Licence and safety

1xBit holds an offshore licence from Anjouan in the Comoros, number ALSI-202409027-FI2, which CryptoSlate reports was issued in September 2024 and runs to September 2027. CryptoSlate also spotted that the number in the site footer differs by one digit from the register entry. We could not open an Anjouan validator page for it, so we report the licence as listed by CryptoSlate, AskGamblers, SlotCatalog and PokerListings rather than as independently confirmed.

What an Anjouan licence does not give you matters more than what it does. It is a light-touch offshore regime with limited routes for player disputes, nothing like the UK Gambling Commission or the Malta Gaming Authority. PokerListings makes the same point. There is no independent ombudsman a player can escalate to with a realistic chance of a binding ruling.

On the positive side, 1xBit offers optional two-factor authentication, an ID-based alternate login and a session manager. Its originals use a provably fair hash chain. We found no published audit of the casino itself and no proof of reserves. Responsible gambling tools are thin: CryptoSlate found no self-service deposit limits or self-exclusion, with exclusion and a 7-day cooling-off handled through support, and accounts left idle for three months can be blocked until support reopens them.

Bonuses and VIP

The welcome package, as published in October 2026, spreads up to 700,000 USDT plus 250 free spins over four deposits, at 100%, 50%, 100% and 50% matches, from a 10 USDT minimum. The headline number is only reachable with six-figure deposits. Wagering is 40x within 30 days, free spin winnings carry 30x within 10 days, and slot bets above 50 USDT do not count. Live games, crash games, provably fair games, roulette and baccarat contribute nothing, and only listed slot studios count in full.

The VIP programme is unusually open. CryptoSlate describes a published eight-level ladder where net-loss cashback climbs from 5% every seven days at the start to 11% paid daily at Diamond level, with no invitation required. Cashback cannot be claimed while a bonus is being wagered.

As always, wagering requirements mean most players lose bonus money before they can withdraw it. Read the full rules before opting in, and remember that bonus abuse is one of the reasons 1xBit gives for holding withdrawals.

Complaints, controversies and what has gone wrong

The record here is the main reason our rating is not higher. These are player reports, not findings by a regulator or court, but they come from several independent places and point the same way.

  • Trustpilot (checked 20 October 2026): 2.1 out of 5 from 2,111 reviews. Trustpilot states that 1xBit has not replied to negative reviews. Recent one-star reviews dated 15 September 2026 (a 3,000 TRX withdrawal failed, then the account was blocked), 10 September 2026 (account closed after a withdrawal request, citing multiple accounts, which the player disputes) and 13 June 2026 (a 2,404 USDT balance that could not be withdrawn) fit a wider pattern. Forty per cent of reviews are five stars, so plenty of players report no trouble.
  • CryptoSlate (October 2026): of the 20 most recent one- and two-star Trustpilot reviews between November 2025 and September 2026, 13 described a closed account or refused withdrawal, and 7 said it followed a win. It traces the pattern back to a 2020 Bitcointalk thread in which a player recovered only the original deposit after months of appeals.
  • AskGamblers (checked 20 October 2026): three complaints, none resolved, average response three days: a balance of $1,570 confiscated after a withdrawal request on 12 September 2026, an account closed with almost $600 unpaid, and a 50 JOD deposit rejected but not refunded from 14 September 2025. No casino reply resolving them is shown.
  • Bitcointalk: a scam-reports thread warning about 1xBit was active as late as February 2026; we could not open it to check its claims, so we treat it as unverified.

We found no regulator action, court ruling, hack or licence withdrawal against 1xBit. We also found no public statement from 1xBit answering the closed-account reports.

The good and the bad, and our verdict

The good:

  • A ten-year trading history, longer than most crypto casinos.
  • More than 10,000 games, a sportsbook, and 27 coins across many networks.
  • High per-transaction withdrawal caps and low published fees.
  • An open VIP cashback ladder, published bonus rules, optional 2FA.

The bad:

  • Offshore Anjouan licence with weak dispute routes, and a footer number that does not match the register.
  • A repeated pattern of player reports about accounts closed or withdrawals refused after wins, with no public replies on Trustpilot and no resolved AskGamblers complaints.
  • Conflicting payout times and no stated deadline in the terms.
  • No self-service limits or exclusion tools; RTP hidden from game tiles.

Our verdict: 1xBit is a long-running crypto casino with a big lobby and clear published bonus and VIP rules, but the licence offers little protection and the complaint record is the worst part of the picture. Reports of accounts closed after a win, across Trustpilot, AskGamblers and Bitcointalk, recur year after year without public answers from the casino. There is no regulator or court finding against it, so we rate it Mixed rather than Poor, and we would not keep a large balance there. If it starts resolving disputes in public, or a regulator acts, we will update this rating.

1xBit for UK readers

1xBit is not licensed by the UK Gambling Commission, and to offer gambling to people in Great Britain a casino must hold that licence. 1xBit lists the United Kingdom among its restricted countries, and SlotCatalog shows it as not accepting UK players. If a UK player did use an offshore site like this, they would sit outside GAMSTOP self-exclusion and outside every UKGC protection, including its complaints and dispute routes. The United States is also on 1xBit's restricted list.

A few crypto-specific points. Your balance moves with the market while it sits in the casino, crypto transfers cannot be reversed, and payouts usually go back in the coin you deposited. Bonuses come with wagering rules that most players never clear. Gambling is for adults aged 18 and over, wins are never a source of income, and free, confidential help is available from BeGambleAware.

FAQs

Is 1xBit legit?

1xBit is a real, long-running business: it has operated since 2016 under Oceaventure Limited of the British Virgin Islands and lists an Anjouan offshore licence. That is not the same as safe. Trustpilot rates it 2.1 out of 5 and AskGamblers shows three unresolved complaints, with a recurring pattern of players reporting closed accounts after wins. We rate it Mixed.

Are 1xBit and 1xBet the same company?

No. 1xBit is a crypto-only casino and sportsbook run by Oceaventure Limited under an Anjouan licence. 1xBet is a separate fiat bookmaker founded in 2007 and run by a different company under a Curacao licence, according to 1xBit's verified CryptoSlate profile. Reviews, sponsorships and complaints about 1xBet should not be read as being about 1xBit.

How long do 1xBit withdrawals take?

1xBit's own figures conflict. The cashier says a few minutes to an hour, an overview table says 24 hours, and CryptoSlate found the terms set no payout deadline. AskGamblers lists 0 to 24 hours. Withdrawals flagged for a security or verification review can take much longer, and that is where most player complaints about 1xBit begin.

Does 1xBit require KYC?

Not at sign-up. Standard accounts need no documents, but 1xBit can ask for identity, address or payment proof at withdrawal if an account is flagged for suspected misuse, mismatched deposits and bets, or bonus abuse. It publishes no threshold. Players who expect a no-KYC cash-out should know verification can be triggered without warning.

Does 1xBit accept UK players?

No. 1xBit lists the United Kingdom as a restricted country, and it holds no UK Gambling Commission licence, which any casino offering gambling in Great Britain must have. UK players on offshore crypto sites have no GAMSTOP or UKGC protection. The United States is restricted too.

What is the 1xBit wagering requirement?

The welcome package, published in October 2026, carries 40x wagering within 30 days, and free spin winnings need 30x within 10 days. Slot bets above 50 USDT do not count, and live, crash, provably fair, roulette and baccarat games contribute nothing. On the half-match deposits, CryptoSlate worked out the requirement can equal 80x the bonus.
