Tombstone Begins at a glance

Tombstone Begins is a Nolimit City slot that tells the origin story of its Tombstone series, set back when the town was just cowboys, cattle and outlaws such as El Gordo fighting over gold-rich land. Nolimit City lists the release date as 12 May 2026, with exclusive early access from 5 May 2026.

The reels run in a 4-5-5-5-4 shape, and the game's engine is a respin system: every win locks its symbols in place and spins again, while Revolver symbols fire one bullet each per spin to turn symbols Wild, upgrade them, split them or set up xNudge Wilds.

On top of that sit three free spins tiers, four paid boosters and an Extra Spin offer at the end of a bonus. The game caps out at 20,000x the base bet.

Tombstone Begins RTP, max win and specs

Nolimit City lists the RTP at 96.02% and the hit frequency at 20.45%, so roughly one spin in five returns a win. The max payout is 20,000x the base bet, and Nolimit City puts the chance of reaching it at 1 in 217m.

Free spins come along about 1 in 216 spins by the provider's figure. The bet range is €0.20 to €100.00, and the game page confirms both a feature buy-in and a bonus mode.

The cap is enforced by a rule Nolimit City calls Vengeance: when the total win goes past 20,000 times the base bet, the game round ends and 20,000 times the base bet is awarded.

Win Respins and sticky symbols

Every win awards a respin. The winning symbols, and every other instance of them on the reels, stay sticky during that respin, and the payout is only made once no respins are left.

Each time a new symbol becomes sticky, another respin is awarded. Symbols that can stick are new winning symbols, symbols containing a symbol type from the current win, Wilds, Revolvers and, in the base game only, Bonus symbols.

That last detail matters. Because Bonus symbols stick in the base game, a winning spin that shows one or two Bonus symbols can keep them on the reels while the respins look for the third.

Revolvers and their six bullet types

Revolver symbols can land on any reel and hold 3 to 6 bullets. Each Revolver fires only one bullet per spin, and when several are on screen they fire one by one, left to right and top to bottom.

A Wild bullet turns its target into a Wild. An xSplit bullet can hit regular paying symbols or Wilds and doubles the multiplier value of the target. An Upgrade bullet hits any regular paying symbol except the top one and turns that symbol, and every instance of it on the reels, into a random higher-paying symbol.

The xNudge Wild bullet hits above the top row of a random reel between 2 and 4; once activated, the Wild nudges until fully visible when no respins are left, and each nudge raises its win multiplier by 1. The xNudge Multiplier bullet hits the same area and, if an xNudge Wild activates on that reel, increases its multiplier by 2x, 3x, 10x or 100x, with the increases adding together.

A Random bullet changes into a different bullet when fired. If a bullet has no valid target, it fires without any effect.

Fire-all and Refill symbols

Two special symbols control the ammunition. When the fire-all symbol lands, every Revolver on the reels fires all of its remaining bullets straight away, one after another, instead of one bullet per spin.

When the Refill symbol lands, every Revolver is topped up to 6 bullets. Only one of each can land per spin, and the pairing is worth watching: a Refill on a reel set full of Revolvers gives the respins more bullets to work through.

Gunslinger, Outlaw and Widowmaker Spins

Landing 3 Bonus symbols triggers 6 Gunslinger Spins, and each extra Bonus symbol adds one more spin. The key rule is that the xNudge multiplier does not reset between Gunslinger Spins, so any multiplier built on an xNudge Wild carries through the round.

Landing 4 Bonus symbols triggers 8 Outlaw Spins, which keep the Gunslinger features and add one: every Revolver lands fully loaded.

Landing 5 Bonus symbols triggers 10 Widowmaker Spins, the top tier. On top of the Outlaw features, all Revolvers fire every remaining bullet before xNudge activation or when no respins are left, after a respin is awarded. Once every Revolver has fired, wins formed by a bullet no longer award extra respins.

Nolimit Boosters and the Extra Spin

Four boosters are on offer. Bonus Booster costs 2 times the base bet and guarantees a Bonus symbol on the second reel. xNudge Showdown costs 30 times the base bet and guarantees a Revolver loaded with 2 xNudge bullets and 2 xNudge multiplier bullets.

xNudge Fully Loaded costs 190 times the base bet for a Revolver with 3 xNudge bullets and 3 xNudge multiplier bullets. Revolver Mayhem costs 999 times the base bet and guarantees 6 Revolvers with a random number of bullets on the top and bottom positions of reels 2, 3 and 4, three of which always carry xNudge multiplier bullets and one an xNudge bullet.

When a bonus round ends, the game may offer an Extra Spin that keeps the previous spin's xNudge multipliers and is guaranteed to land a Revolver with an xNudge bullet. Its price is based on those multipliers, and it is only offered when the cost is less than or equal to the total win. Taking it puts that win back at risk.

Tombstone Begins demo: what to watch

Nolimit City offers a free demo of Tombstone Begins on its own game page. In it, count how many bullets each Revolver shows and watch the firing order, since one bullet per Revolver per spin means a long respin chain gives the guns more chances to act.

In the free spins, follow the xNudge multiplier from spin to spin, because it is the one value that does not reset. With a listed free spins frequency of about 1 in 216, a demo session shows how the features behave, not what any future spin will pay.

FAQs

What is the RTP of Tombstone Begins?

Nolimit City lists the RTP of Tombstone Begins at 96.02%, with a hit frequency of 20.45%, so about one spin in five produces a win. The figure describes the long-run return across a very large number of spins, not what any single session will pay. Check the in-game rules to confirm the version you are playing.

What is the max win on Tombstone Begins?

The max payout is 20,000 times the base bet. Nolimit City puts the chance of hitting it at 1 in 217m, and when a total win passes the cap the round ends and 20,000x is paid. The biggest results come from xNudge Wilds, whose multipliers grow with each nudge and with 2x, 3x, 10x or 100x xNudge Multiplier bullets.

How do you trigger the bonus in Tombstone Begins?

Land 3 Bonus symbols for 6 Gunslinger Spins, with each extra Bonus symbol adding one spin. Four Bonus symbols give 8 Outlaw Spins with fully loaded Revolvers, and five give 10 Widowmaker Spins, where Revolvers fire all remaining bullets. Bonus symbols stay sticky during base game Win Respins, which helps them collect.

Does Tombstone Begins have a bonus buy?

Yes, Nolimit City offers four boosters. Bonus Booster costs 2x the base bet and guarantees a Bonus symbol on reel 2. xNudge Showdown costs 30x, xNudge Fully Loaded 190x and Revolver Mayhem 999x, each guaranteeing Revolvers loaded with xNudge and xNudge multiplier bullets. Boosters raise the cost of a spin, not the chance of profit.

How do the Revolvers work in Tombstone Begins?

Revolvers land on any reel holding 3 to 6 bullets and fire one bullet each per spin, left to right and top to bottom. Bullets can create a Wild, double a multiplier with xSplit, upgrade a symbol, activate an xNudge Wild, raise its multiplier, or turn into a random bullet. A special fire-all symbol makes them fire every remaining bullet at once.

Can I play Tombstone Begins for free?

Yes. Nolimit City has a free demo of Tombstone Begins on its own game page, so you can watch the Win Respins, Revolver bullets and xNudge Wilds without staking money. The demo uses play credits, and its results say nothing about what a real-money session would return.
