Spider Circus Hold and Win at a glance

Spider Circus Hold and Win is a BGaming Hold & Win slot released on 19 October 2026. It sets a familiar respin formula inside a Burtonesque fairground: a purple and red big top, fruit with faces, scarred pumpkins, cheeky aubergines and a spiral-eyed clown looming behind the grid.

The core loop is easy to follow. Land 6 or more Spiders and the Hold & Win Bonus starts, with valued Spiders locked in place, three multiplier cells and a progress bar that turns certain Spiders into Mystery symbols. Expanding Wilds, Scatters and a choice of win lines fill out the base game. BGaming files it under its #Classic label and pitches the theme as Halloween-ready but not tied to the season.

Spider Circus Hold and Win RTP, volatility and max win

BGaming lists the RTP at 97.00% and rates the volatility as Medium. The maximum multiplier is published as x5000, with a top win of €250,000, and the provider's FAQ puts the biggest win at ×5,000 your bet.

The spec sheet also shows a hit rate of 6.76 and 60 lines. BGaming gives the hit rate without a unit or a definition, so we quote it as published rather than convert it.

According to BGaming's FAQ, the route to the top prize runs through the multipliers in the Bonus round. The Bonus has two kinds of multiplier: three cells worth ×2 to ×5, and Mystery symbols that can turn into a ×2 or ×3 applied to every Spider on the reels.

Line Choice, Expanding Wilds and Scatters

Line Choice sets how many win lines are active on each spin: 20, 40, 60, 80 or 100. Picking more lines raises the minimum bet, and BGaming's spec sheet lists the game at 60 lines.

The Wild substitutes for any symbol except Scatters and Spiders. When a Wild on reels 2, 3 or 4 is part of a winning combination, it expands to cover the whole reel. BGaming limits the expansion to those three reels, and only to Wilds that are part of a win.

Scatters pay anywhere once 3 or more land. BGaming does not publish the Scatter payouts on its game page, so the paytable in the game is the place to see them.

How the Hold & Win Bonus works

Six or more Spider symbols trigger the Hold & Win Bonus. The Spiders that started it stay locked for the whole round, each carrying a value, and the round only uses Spider and Progressive Mystery symbols.

You start with 3 respins. Every new Bonus symbol that lands resets the count to 3, and the round ends when the grid is full or the respins run out. The final win is the sum of all Spider values on the reels.

At the start, 3 positions on the grid are randomly given a ×2, ×3, ×4 or ×5 multiplier. A Bonus symbol landing on one of those cells has its value multiplied by that figure. As an illustration, a Spider worth 5× the bet landing on a ×4 cell counts as 20× the bet in the final total.

The Progress Bar and Progressive Mystery symbols

The Progress Bar counts the Bonus symbols collected during Hold & Win and rises as new ones land. At 10, 15 and 20 Spiders, the most recent symbol becomes a Progressive Mystery symbol, which spins and turns into one of five outcomes.

It can stay as the Spider it was before the change, become a Spider with a randomly increased value, or become a Prize symbol. BGaming lists the Prize values as Mini ×10, Minor ×25, Major ×100 and Grand ×500.

The last two outcomes are a Collect symbol and a Multiplier symbol. The Multiplier is ×2 or ×3 and applies to every Spider on the reels, not just one cell. BGaming's game page does not describe exactly what the Collect symbol gathers, so check the in-game rules for it.

Position still matters for a Mystery symbol. If it lands in one of the three multiplier cells, that cell's ×2 to ×5 is applied to its value at the end of the Bonus game.

Buy Bonus and Chance ×2

Buy Bonus lets you purchase the Hold & Win Bonus at any time, for a price set relative to your bet. BGaming does not publish the multiple on its game page, so the buy menu in the game shows the real cost.

Chance ×2 slightly raises the bet and, in return, doubles the chance of hitting Scatter symbols and activating the Hold & Win Bonus. It is switched off while Buy Bonus is active, so the two cannot be stacked.

What to look for in the Spider Circus Hold and Win demo

The demo is a low-stakes way to learn how the bonus builds. Note where the three multiplier cells sit at the start of each Hold & Win round, watch the Progress Bar as it approaches 10, 15 and 20 Spiders, and see what each Mystery symbol becomes.

In the base game, try different settings in Line Choice to see how the minimum bet moves between 20 and 100 lines, and watch how often an Expanding Wild on reels 2 to 4 joins a win. BGaming says the game works on mobile and desktop. Slots are for adults aged 18 and over; set a time and spending limit before any session.

FAQs

What is the RTP of Spider Circus Hold and Win?

BGaming lists the RTP of Spider Circus Hold and Win at 97.00%, with volatility rated Medium. The spec sheet also shows a hit rate of 6.76 and 60 lines. The RTP is measured over a very large number of rounds, so one evening of spins can sit far from it in either direction.

What is the max win in Spider Circus Hold and Win?

The maximum win is ×5,000 your bet, shown on BGaming's spec sheet as x5000 and €250,000. The provider says that ceiling is reached by landing multipliers in the Bonus round, where three cells carry ×2 to ×5 and a Progressive Mystery symbol can become a ×2 or ×3 multiplier applied to every Spider on the reels.

How do you trigger the Hold & Win Bonus in Spider Circus?

Land 6 or more Spider symbols. They lock in place with their values, the round starts with 3 respins, and every new Bonus symbol resets the count to 3. It ends when the grid fills or the respins run out, and the win is the sum of all Spider values. Buy Bonus also starts it directly.

What are the Mini, Minor, Major and Grand prizes in Spider Circus?

The Prize symbols come from Progressive Mystery symbols, which appear when 10, 15 or 20 Spiders are on the reels during Hold & Win. BGaming lists four values: Mini ×10, Minor ×25, Major ×100 and Grand ×500. If the Mystery symbol sits in a multiplier cell, that cell's ×2 to ×5 is applied to its value at the end of the round.

Can you choose the number of lines in Spider Circus Hold and Win?

Yes. Line Choice lets you play 20, 40, 60, 80 or 100 win lines on each spin, and BGaming's spec sheet lists the game at 60. Choosing more lines raises the minimum bet. Expanding Wilds on reels 2 to 4 cover the whole reel when they form part of a win, whatever line setting you choose.
