Wonder of Circus: Spin the Lucky Wheel

Wonder of Circus is a Backseat Gaming slot released on 7 July 2026, played on a 5x5 grid with 15 fixed paylines. Wins need at least 3 matching symbols on one of those lines, on adjacent reels starting from the leftmost reel.

Its centrepiece is the Lucky Wheel symbol. When one lands, it grows to show a small wheel with three values from 1 to 5, spins, and settles on one of them. That number becomes the count of Wild Reels that appear in a respin once the current wins have been paid.

Two free spin bonuses, Ticket Rush with 10 spins and Wheel Bonanza with 20, both raise the chance of landing Lucky Wheels. The game is otherwise simple: regular Wilds, one feature symbol and a set of multiplier Wild Reels that only exist inside the respins.

Backseat Gaming lists the RTP as 96.01 % / 94.01 % / 92.01 % / 90.01 %, which means four versions of the game exist, six percentage points apart at the extremes. The theoretical RTP of the version you are playing is shown in the game rules.

Volatility is rated Very High, and the hit frequency is listed at 20.61%. In plain terms, about one spin in five returns a win and roughly four in five return nothing.

The max win is listed as 10,000, which the game's own rules and splash screen give as 10,000 times the bet. The paytable is dynamic and changes with the bet amount, so symbol values are best read inside the game at your chosen stake.

The Lucky Wheel symbol can land in all game modes. After it lands, it reveals 3 values from 1 to 5, and the game rules add two limits: the same value can repeat once, but the three sectors can never all show the same number. The wheel then spins to select one value.

Up to two Lucky Wheels can land on a single spin, and the sum of their selected values can never go above 5. So the respin brings at most five Wild Reels, whether one wheel lands or two.

The Lucky Wheel is also a Wild in its own right and substitutes for all regular symbols. That means it can complete a payline on the spin it lands, before its wheel has any effect on the respin that follows.

Once all winning combinations on the spin have been formed, a respin is granted. In it, a number of Wild Reels with a multiplier appear on the grid, equal to the sum of the values the Lucky Wheels selected.

The Wild Reel symbol can land on any reel, but only during these special respins. Each one always comes with a random multiplier: 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, 6x, 7x, 8x, 9x, 10x, 15x, 20x, 25x, 50x, 75x, 100x or 200x.

When several Wild Reels take part in the same winning combination, the sum of their multipliers is applied to the win. As an illustration of that rule, a line crossing a 10x and a 25x Wild Reel pays at 35x, not 250x.

A regular Wild symbol also lands in all game modes and substitutes for all regular symbols, so ordinary spins still have a way to complete lines without the wheel.

Both bonuses come from Bonus symbols, which can only land in the base game and only once per reel. Three Bonus symbols trigger Ticket Rush with 10 free spins, and four trigger Wheel Bonanza with 20 free spins.

The two rounds share one rule: an increased chance of landing Lucky Wheel symbols. Every Lucky Wheel in the bonus works exactly as in the base game, picking values for a respin with multiplier Wild Reels.

The difference is length. Wheel Bonanza doubles the spin count to 20, which gives twice as many chances for Lucky Wheels to land and set up respins at their boosted rate.

The game rules list four modes bought from the cart button, and note that availability might vary depending on operator or jurisdiction. Wins in them are evaluated at the base bet amount.

Bonus Boost makes each spin more likely to trigger a bonus game. Special Spins guarantees at least 1 Lucky Wheel symbol on every spin. The other two instantly trigger Ticket Rush or Wheel Bonanza.

Backseat Gaming's page does not publish the prices or the RTP of these modes. The game shows both on its rules screen for the loaded version, so read them there before using any mode.

The free Wonder of Circus demo on this page uses play credits, so you can watch the Lucky Wheel and its respins in action without staking money.

Read the three values each wheel reveals before it spins. Two wheels on one spin cannot total more than 5, so a second wheel adds Wild Reels only up to that cap. Then check the multiplier on each Wild Reel in the respin, since only reels that share a winning line add their values together.

If the demo offers the Special Spins mode, it is a quick way to see many respins in a short session. With a 20.61% hit frequency and Very High volatility, a demo shows how the mechanics behave, not what any future spin will pay. Slots are for adults aged 18 and over.

What is the RTP of Wonder of Circus?

Backseat Gaming lists four RTP versions for Wonder of Circus: 96.01%, 94.01%, 92.01% and 90.01%. Which one you meet depends on the version that is loaded, and the game rules state the theoretical RTP of the running version. The bonus buy modes list their own RTP figures on the same screen.

What is the max win on Wonder of Circus?

The max win is 10,000 times the bet, according to Backseat Gaming's page and the game's own rules. Large wins come from the respins, where up to five Wild Reels each carry a multiplier from 2x to 200x, and reels sharing a winning line add their multipliers together.

How does the Lucky Wheel work in Wonder of Circus?

When a Lucky Wheel lands it reveals three values from 1 to 5 and spins to select one. After wins are paid, a respin adds that many multiplier Wild Reels to the grid. Up to two wheels can land per spin, but their values can never total more than 5, and the wheel itself also acts as a Wild.

How do you trigger the Wonder of Circus free spins?

Land 3 Bonus symbols in the base game for Ticket Rush with 10 free spins, or 4 for Wheel Bonanza with 20. Bonus symbols only land in the base game and only one can appear per reel. Both bonuses raise the chance of landing Lucky Wheel symbols for the whole round.

Does Wonder of Circus have a bonus buy?

Yes. The game rules list instant buys for Ticket Rush and Wheel Bonanza, a Bonus Boost mode and Special Spins, which guarantees at least 1 Lucky Wheel on every spin. The rules say availability might vary depending on operator or jurisdiction, and each mode's price and RTP are shown inside the game.

Can you play the Wonder of Circus demo for free?
