Spartans review: licence, withdrawals, complaints and verdict

A Belize-registered crypto casino and sportsbook with an Anjouan licence, celebrity deals and a 33% CashRake, whose early player reviews are mostly complaints.

What is Spartans?

Spartans is a crypto casino and sportsbook at spartans.com that took players in a testing phase from 2025 and announced a worldwide launch for 1 August 2026. It is known for three things: a rewards scheme it calls CashRake, worth up to 33% by its own promotions; reported multi-million-dollar deals with streamer X7Dave and rapper Lil Baby; and a licence that does check out on the Anjouan register. Its early player reviews are a different story.

  • Launched: taking players in a testing phase from at least September 2025; worldwide launch announced for 1 August 2026
  • Operator: Nexus International Entertainment Ltd., registration number 000043488, 9 Barrack Road, Belize City, Belize, by its own footer
  • Licence (as verified on 12 October 2026): Anjouan, ALSI-202409038-FI2, status valid, issued 16 September 2024, expires 15 September 2027, covering spartans.com
  • Coins: BTC, ETH, USDT, USDC, BNB, ADA, SOL, DAI and AVAX are named across its coverage (as of September 2026), with local fiat options in some countries
  • KYC policy: reported as loose and dependent on region; its own KYC policy was not readable to us
  • Games: slots, live casino, Spartans Originals and a sportsbook
  • UK and US: the site marked our UK connection as a blocked country on 12 October 2026; no US policy confirmed
  • Our rating: Too new to rate

Spartans is listed in our crypto casinos hub, under crypto sportsbooks and among streamer casinos, because of its sportsbook and its streamer deals.

Our rating: Too new to rate

Spartans' Anjouan licence and Belize operator check out, but it only launched worldwide in August 2026 and its small player record is mostly withdrawal and support complaints, so it is too early to rate and worth treating with care.

We rate crypto casinos from public sources only: the licence and what it covers, who owns it, what players report about withdrawals and complaints, how clear its terms are and how long it has been trading. Last reviewed 12 October 2026. How we rate crypto casinos.

History and ownership

Spartans is owned and run by Nexus International Entertainment Ltd., a Belize company, according to the footer on spartans.com read on 12 October 2026. The same company appears on the Anjouan licence register as the holder of licence ALSI-202409038-FI2, which also covers megaposta.com and lanistar.com.

The group has a track record in Brazil. Gambling911 reported on 3 March 2026 that the company behind Spartans had built the Brazilian betting brand Megaposta, and that Nexus committed $200 million in 2025 to expanding Spartans worldwide. That figure is reported, not confirmed by filings, and no owners or directors are named in anything we read.

The launch timeline is muddled. A BusinessDay article of 16 September 2025 already described Spartans as operating, with an Anjouan licence and thousands of games. win.gg, in a review updated on 16 September 2026, gives the launch as October 2025. A sponsored Crypto-Economy article of 15 April 2026 then announced a worldwide launch on 1 August 2026, moving it from what it called closed testing to open availability. So the site has taken real money for about a year, but only became generally available in August 2026.

The site's own roadmap lists a "$SPAR" token with buyback and burn features. We found no independent information about that token, and we would treat any casino token as a speculative asset, not a reward.

Games and sportsbook

Spartans runs a full casino and a sportsbook. BusinessDay reported 5,963 titles from 43 providers in September 2025; win.gg said in September 2026 that it carries more than 50 providers, naming Pragmatic Play, Hacksaw Gaming, NetEnt and Red Tiger, plus in-house Spartans Originals and live dealer tables. Game counts change often, so treat both figures as snapshots.

If the Pragmatic and Hacksaw catalogues are there as reported, that would include recent releases such as Sweet Bonanza Super Scatter and Le Bandit Hold & Win, though we could not confirm individual titles on the site. Lobbies often differ by country.

The sportsbook is real: the site has its own sportsbook section and sportsbook policy. One Trustpilot reviewer alleged in March 2026 that a moneyline bet's terms were changed after it was placed. That is a single unverified report, but it is the kind of dispute worth knowing about before betting big.

Deposits, withdrawals and KYC in practice

Spartans takes the main coins and some smaller ones. BusinessDay listed Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDT, USDC and AVAX in September 2025, plus fiat options for Colombia, Peru and Chile; win.gg listed BTC, ETH, USDT, BNB, ADA, SOL, USDC and DAI in September 2026. We could not read its cashier ourselves, so check the current list before depositing.

On speed, the claims and the complaints point in opposite directions. Spartans' marketing stresses instant withdrawals, and win.gg reports crypto withdrawals in a few minutes and e-wallets in up to 48 hours. But on Trustpilot, as of 12 October 2026, players report a withdrawal pending more than 40 days (September 2026), deposits working while withdrawals do not (July 2026), and a $120 deposit not credited after four days (May 2026). One 5-star review from September 2025 praises fast payouts with no hold.

KYC is unclear. BusinessDay said in 2025 that Spartans requires KYC verification; win.gg said in 2026 that checks are loose and vary by region, with none needed in some. Its KYC policy page did not load any text for us. Expect that identity checks can be asked for at withdrawal, which is often where offshore casino disputes start.

We found no published withdrawal limits or fees. Start small and test a withdrawal before depositing more.

Licence and safety

Spartans' licence is real. The Anjouan licence register, read on 12 October 2026, lists Nexus International Entertainment Ltd with licence ALSI-202409038-FI2, status valid, type B2C, issued 16 September 2024 and expiring 15 September 2027, and names spartans.com among its domains. The footer on spartans.com prints the number as ALSI-202409038-F12, an apparent typo for FI2.

The footer also says Spartans has "passed all regulatory compliance" and is authorised for "any and all games of chance". That overstates what an Anjouan licence means. Anjouan is an offshore licensor in the Union of Comoros, with limited routes for player disputes and no published record of enforcement or player-fund protection comparable to the UK or Malta.

win.gg says the Originals are provably fair. We found no third-party audit, testing-lab certificate or proof of reserves for Spartans, and could not read a provably fair page ourselves.

Bonuses and VIP

The centrepiece is CashRake, which Spartans describes as rakeback on every bet combined with cashback on losses. Its homepage advertised "33% Cashrake" on 12 October 2026. win.gg breaks it down as up to 33% rakeback plus up to 3% cashback with no wagering requirement. Rakeback schemes usually pay a share of the casino's edge on each bet rather than of the stake itself, so the money returned is far smaller than a 33% headline suggests.

Welcome offers have changed. BusinessDay described a 300% welcome bonus and a 25% daily reload in September 2025; win.gg found no permanent welcome bonus in September 2026 and said promotions vary by region. Any deposit bonus will carry wagering rules, so read them first. A March 2026 Trustpilot reviewer alleged that rakeback was restricted to slots, which, if true, matters for table and sports players.

Spartans also runs big-ticket promotions: a one-of-one Mansory Koenigsegg Jesko giveaway listed on its roadmap and a $2 million leaderboard. We do not publish bonus or referral codes.

Streamers who play on Spartans

Spartans' best-known signing is X7Dave (David Raizman), a high-stakes slot streamer. A sponsored BusinessDay post of 25 February 2026 and Gambling911 on 3 March 2026 both report a deal worth $32 million a year, plus a $2 million leaderboard for his audience. The figure is reported only; neither Spartans nor X7Dave has published a contract, and the BusinessDay piece is labelled a sponsored post.

Gambling911 also reports that rapper Lil Baby signed with Spartans in late February 2026. Spartans' own site carries partnership pages for Lil Baby, X7Dave, boxer Conor Benn, UFC fighter Arman Tsarukyan and singer Era Istrefi.

Streamers paid by a casino often play with balances the casino provides, so their wins and losses on stream are not a guide to what you will experience with your own money.

Complaints, controversies and what has gone wrong

The record is short but mostly negative. As of 12 October 2026, Spartans scored 2.2 out of 5 on Trustpilot from nine reviews, eight of them one star, and the page showed no replies from the company. These are player reports, not findings, and nine reviews is a small sample.

  • September 2026: a reviewer reports a withdrawal pending for more than 40 days and criticises an AI-led support service.
  • July 2026: a reviewer says deposits go through but withdrawals do not.
  • June 2026: a reviewer alleges a leaderboard prize was withheld.
  • May 2026: a reviewer says support stopped replying and a $120 deposit had not arrived after four days.
  • April 2026: a reviewer alleges bots at Evolution and Pragmatic blackjack tables (unverified).
  • March 2026: one reviewer alleges a sports bet was changed after placement and rakeback was limited to slots; another reports no reply to a complaint since 27 February.

We found no regulator action, hack or licence suspension, and no Spartans listing on AskGamblers or Casino.guru that we could open. We found no Reddit threads specifically about spartans.com. Much of the positive press about Spartans, including the X7Dave coverage, is sponsored content, which is worth bearing in mind when weighing it against player reports.

The good and the bad

The good

  • A valid Anjouan licence naming spartans.com, with an expiry in September 2027
  • A named operating company with a Belize registration number and address
  • A large game library from major studios, plus a sportsbook
  • A rakeback and cashback scheme said to carry no wagering

The bad

  • Eight of nine Trustpilot reviews are one star, mostly about withdrawals and support, with no replies shown
  • No owners named and no published audit or proof of reserves
  • Withdrawal limits, fees and KYC rules not published anywhere we could read
  • Most positive coverage is sponsored, and headline deal figures are unconfirmed
  • An offshore licence only, with limited routes for player disputes

Our verdict. Spartans is too new to rate, but the early signs need watching. Its licence and operator check out, and it has the money and the game library of a serious brand. Against that, almost every independent player review so far reports unpaid or delayed withdrawals or unanswered support, and the company has not replied publicly. With only weeks since its worldwide launch and nine reviews, we will rate it once there is a larger record, and anyone playing should test a small withdrawal first.

Spartans for UK readers

Spartans holds no UK Gambling Commission licence, and a casino needs one to offer gambling to people in Great Britain. When we checked from the UK on 12 October 2026, the site's own page data marked our location as a blocked country. UK players are outside GAMSTOP and UKGC protections on any site like this.

Playing with crypto adds its own risks: your balance moves with the coin's price, blockchain transfers cannot be reversed, you are often paid out in the coin you deposited, and bonuses and rakeback come with rules. FAQs

Is Spartans legit?

Spartans is a real, licensed operation: the Anjouan register lists Nexus International Entertainment Ltd's licence ALSI-202409038-FI2 as valid and covering spartans.com. But eight of its nine Trustpilot reviews, as of 12 October 2026, are one star, mostly about withdrawals and support. With so little record since its August 2026 launch, we rate it too new to judge.

Who owns Spartans casino?

Spartans says it is owned and operated by Nexus International Entertainment Ltd., registration number 000043488, at 9 Barrack Road, Belize City, Belize. Gambling911 reported in March 2026 that the same group built the Brazilian brand Megaposta. No individual owners or directors are named in anything we found.

Is Spartans licensed?

Yes. On 12 October 2026 the Anjouan licence register listed ALSI-202409038-FI2 as valid, issued 16 September 2024 and expiring 15 September 2027, covering spartans.com, megaposta.com and lanistar.com. Anjouan is an offshore licensor with limited player-dispute routes, so it protects players far less than a UK or Malta licence.

How fast are Spartans withdrawals?

Spartans advertises instant crypto withdrawals and win.gg reports crypto payouts in minutes, but player reports disagree. On Trustpilot, as of 12 October 2026, reviewers describe a withdrawal pending over 40 days and withdrawals not going through, while one 2025 review praises fast payouts. Spartans publishes no limits or fees we could read.

What is Spartans CashRake?

CashRake is Spartans' rewards scheme, combining rakeback on every bet with cashback on losses. Its homepage advertised 33% CashRake in October 2026, and win.gg describes it as up to 33% rakeback plus up to 3% cashback with no wagering. Rakeback usually pays a share of the casino's edge, not of your stake, so the cash returned is much smaller.

Did X7Dave sign with Spartans?

Reports say so. A sponsored BusinessDay post in February 2026 and Gambling911 in March 2026 report a $32 million a year deal and a $2 million leaderboard for his audience, and Spartans' site has an X7Dave partnership page. The deal value has not been confirmed by either party.
