Trainwreckstv is the online name of Tyler Niknam, an American streamer and podcaster who became the face of high-stakes slot streaming on Kick. According to his Wikipedia entry, he was born on 20 December 1990, grew up in Scottsdale, Arizona, graduated from Arizona State University in 2014 with a degree in analytic philosophy and moved to Canada in June 2021.
His Kick channel is verified and its bio is a single line promoting his podcast. His recent Kick broadcasts mix slots sessions with League of Legends streams alongside Yassuo and friends, so his slots viewers are not the whole of his audience. Stream Hatchet's January 2026 figures, reported by BitcoinChaser, put him first among Kick gambling channels with 15.6 million hours watched, ahead of Classybeef on 13.9 million and Roshtein on 12.6 million.

Niknam started streaming on Twitch in 2015, mixing games and talk content. Wikipedia records a five day Twitch ban in November 2017 and an indefinite ban in October 2018, both over remarks he made on stream. He launched the Scuffed Podcast in April 2019 and, on the night of the 2020 US election, was the second most watched streamer on Twitch with 607,000 hours watched.
Slots made him a much bigger name. In 2021 and 2022 he streamed gambling on Stake from Twitch, and on 11 March 2022 he hit a $14 million win that Dexerto reported, noting he said he was still down millions overall. About two weeks later came the $22.5 million Might of Ra spin described below. After Twitch moved against gambling streams, Wikipedia says he moved to Kick, a platform with financial ties to Stake. In October 2022 he claimed sponsors had paid him $360 million over 16 months for on stream gambling, a figure that rests on his own statement.
Kick became his base. Several outlets describe him as a Kick co-founder, while Wikipedia calls him a partial owner. In January 2026 Kick's chief executive Eddie Craven said he had been wrong to dismiss Trainwreck's years of warnings about viewbotting on the platform, according to VegasSlotsOnline. He returned to streaming in April 2026 after a three month break, as the same site reported, and has been live on Kick through September 2026.

Stake is the casino attached to Trainwreckstv's slot streams. The VegasSlotsOnline streamer profile describes it as his only gambling platform and main sponsor, and every record win covered below was reported as played on Stake. No contract terms have been published, so any deal value you see quoted is his own claim or a third party estimate.
The relationship is not smooth. In March 2024, on xQc's Kick stream, he called Stake a scam and said he and Stake co-founder Eddie Craven had argued about his losses, as Dexerto reported. On 5 March 2026, appearing on Cheesur's stream, he called Craven a shark, said it could be time for a revolution and suggested streamers might leave Stake if they felt lowballed. VegasSlotsOnline reports only the threat, with no exodus described, and his April and June 2026 wins were again played on Stake.
He also has a stake in the supply side. Slot provider Donut Gaming announced on X on 10 May 2026 that Trainwreckstv had become a co-owner, with Yassuo joining in an unspecified role, according to Win.gg. The studio launched in January 2026, had released seven slots in its first four months, and its games are exclusive to Stake. Win.gg quotes him as wanting to produce transparent, high quality slots.
Trainwreckstv plays at the high end of the volatility scale and prefers bonus buys and feature enhancers. Spin sizes of $1,000 and above are routine for him, and the reports below mention bets from $100 up to $250,000 per spin once a feature is active. The slots that keep appearing in his biggest wins are Might of Ra from Pragmatic Play, Wanted Dead or a Wild from Hacksaw Gaming, Hex Appeal, Coins and Cauldrons, Valhalla 1000, High Elf, Sweet Bonanza 1000 and Nine to Five.
The VegasSlotsOnline streamer profile also lists Dork Unit and Chicken Drop among his favourites, each with a reported $15 million win. A lot of his recent play is on Stake exclusives, which means you cannot find those games at other casinos. We do not yet have review pages for most of the slots he is known for, so our slot library is the place to compare the volatility and maximum win of similar titles from Pragmatic Play, Hacksaw Gaming and Nolimit City.
Away from reels, Stake's in house games feature too: on 4 May 2026 he hit a 50,000x payout on Plinko Xtreme from a $100 bet, which paid $5 million.
The biggest figures attached to his name are all reported, none are audited, and Bitcoin.com noted that Stake had not officially confirmed the $50 million payout when it ran the story. Here are the wins outlets have documented, newest first.
Outlets disagree on some figures, so treat the sums with care. Reports of the Hex Appeal win cite both a $6,000 bet and a 50,000x multiplier, which do not multiply to $37.5 million, so we give the dollar figure only. VegasSlotsOnline quoted him saying he expected around $15 million at most from that bonus.
Skeptics regularly question where his balance comes from. Game Wisdom reports that critics say he is not betting his own money and that a Stake sponsorship supplies the balance, adding that there is no direct evidence and that Trainwreckstv has denied it on stream. Some recent Kick broadcast titles, including the 30 September and 1 October streams, carry the tag "PERSONAL FUNDS", which is his own labelling and cannot be checked from outside. He has criticised other streamers on the same point: in July 2025 he said he hoped a fake balance streamer would not beat his record, and in March 2026 VegasSlotsOnline reported him claiming Roshtein is given balances to play with.
Beyond gambling, his history includes the Twitch bans in 2017 and 2018, which Wikipedia attributes to sexist remarks, and his public warnings about view inflation on Kick, which Craven partly conceded in January 2026. Wikipedia also records criticism of gambling streams over concerns about their legality and their influence on underage viewers.
A wider context point: Bitcoin.com notes that a March 2026 Bloomberg Businessweek investigation found wins above 1,000x occurring more often for certain sponsored personalities playing games developed by Stake's parent company Easygo. VegasSlotsOnline ties that finding to Drake, not to Trainwreckstv, but it explains why record wins on Stake are now examined closely by viewers.
His main channel is kick.com/trainwreckstv, and he also keeps Twitch, YouTube, X and Instagram accounts, with the last three listed on his Kick profile. His YouTube channel is mostly Counter-Strike case openings, rants and Scuffed Podcast clips rather than slot highlights.
The Kick video list for September 2026 shows slots sessions of roughly four to nine hours, with start times mostly between 21:00 and 23:30 UTC, and League of Legends nights in between. One session on 27 September was titled as a $1 million USDC giveaway. He has no fixed published schedule and streams in irregular blocks, so follow him on Kick for live alerts.
A clip of a $50 million hit shows one spin, not the hours of losses around it. The same outlets that report his records describe heavy losses beside them: Win.gg says the High Elf win did not make up the previous days, and VegasSlotsOnline said he lost more than $10 million within his first streams back in April 2026. In 2022 he said he was down millions overall, and Bitcoin.com reports that his June 2026 stream carried a permanent on screen warning not to gamble.
Streamers like him often play with sponsored or house balances, and many casinos in this scene, including Stake, are not licensed in the UK. Treat his wins as entertainment. They are not a plan for income and you should not copy his bet sizes. Gambling is for adults aged 18 and over, and if it stops being fun, free support is at BeGambleAware.
