Snow Slingers

Snow Slingers is a 5-reel, 4-row payline slot from Hacksaw Gaming. Its winter setting follows penguins Ruth and Rupert through a snowball fight, but the central idea is mechanical rather than decorative: Snow-volver symbols fire Snowballs at random positions to create wilds and build multipliers.

There are two bonus features with different formats. THROW SNOW! uses refilling lives, sticky symbols and multiplier Gift Boxes, while YOU REAP WHAT YOU SNOW provides free spins with sticky Snow Multipliers. The maximum win is 10,000 times the bet and can be reached in every game mode.

Normal and Epic Snow-volver symbols can arrive with between one and six Snowballs. After landing, they fire the displayed number of Snowballs at randomly selected grid positions.

A Normal Snowball hitting a position without Snow turns it into a wild Snow symbol. A further hit adds a random multiplier and changes it into a wild Snow Multiplier. An Epic Snowball skips the first step and immediately creates a Snow Multiplier.

Each Snowball can add 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, 6x, 7x, 8x, 9x, 10x, 15x, 20x, 25x, 50x, 100x or 200x. Further hits increase an existing Snow Multiplier. If several Snow Multipliers are included in one winning combination, their values are added together before the total multiplier is applied.

In the base game and the YOU REAP WHAT YOU SNOW feature, Epic Snow-volvers activate before Normal Snow-volvers. This ordering gives the Normal Snowballs an opportunity to add further values to Snow Multipliers already created by Epic hits.

Once a Snow-volver has fired all its Snowballs, it is replaced by a WILD. The standard WILD, Snow and Snow Multiplier symbols all substitute for symbols in the paytable.

Landing three FS scatter symbols together in the base game activates THROW SNOW! The reels then display only Snow-volvers, Reload symbols and non-paying symbols.

The feature begins with three refilling lives, with each life representing one spin. Landing any Snow-volver or Reload symbol resets the lives to three. The round ends after all three lives are used without another reset, or immediately if the grid becomes completely filled with used Snow-volver symbols.

Six Gift Boxes sit above the grid during this feature. Snowballs are thrown at these boxes rather than at reel positions, with each hit either adding to or multiplying the total value attached to the relevant Snow-volver.

Adding Gift Box values can be 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, 6x, 7x, 8x, 9x, 10x, 15x, 20x, 25x, 30x, 40x, 50x, 75x, 100x, 150x, 200x, 250x or 500x. Multiplying boxes can apply x2, x3, x4, x5, x10 or x20.

Normal Snow-volvers remain on the grid and retain their values until the feature ends. Epic Snow-volver totals are added to every existing sticky Normal Snow-volver and Reload symbol, after which the Epic symbols disappear on the next spin. In this bonus, Epic Snow-volvers activate after Normal Snow-volvers and Reload symbols.

A Reload symbol collects the multipliers from sticky Normal Snow-volvers on its reel, then reloads their piles with one to six new Snowballs. Those Snowballs are fired at the Gift Boxes immediately, and the resulting values are added to the Normal Snow-volvers. Reload symbols also remain on the grid with their collected totals.

When the feature finishes, the values held by all sticky Normal Snow-volvers and Reload symbols are combined. That total is multiplied by the bet to calculate the final feature win.

Four FS scatter symbols landing together in the base game trigger YOU REAP WHAT YOU SNOW with 10 free spins. The standard Snow-volver rules remain active, but every Snow Multiplier becomes sticky and stays in its position until the feature ends.
