Nitro Nights: Burnout Mode and Sticky Nudges

Hacksaw Gaming's street-racing payline slot, with three bonuses from Seoul to Fukushima

Nitro Nights at a glance

Nitro Nights is a Hacksaw Gaming slot released on 23 June 2026, set in an underground street race to crown the King of the Streets. It pays on paylines, and its signature feature is Burnout Mode, which starts whenever a Nitro symbol lands.

Burnout Mode hands out Nudges, Wild symbols and multipliers, then pushes the grid downwards while keeping Wilds and Position Multipliers locked in place. A Nitro symbol that lands during the Nudges refuels the feature with more of them.

Three FS scatter counts lead to three different bonuses, named after Seoul, Tokyo and Fukushima, with the last one a hidden epic bonus that runs as a single, extended free spin.

Nitro Nights RTP, volatility and max win

Hacksaw Gaming lists four RTPs for Nitro Nights: 96.31%, 94.34%, 92.22% and 86.26%. The game is offered in all four versions, so the figure in the in-game rules is the one that applies to the copy you are playing, and the gap between the top and bottom versions is just over ten percentage points.

Volatility is rated 4 / 5 on Hacksaw's scale, one step below its top rating. The max win is 15,000x the bet. The provider lists the win type as paylines but, as checked on 29 October 2026, does not publish the number of lines, the grid size or the bet range on its game page.

Those gaps matter less than the RTP choice. On a 4 / 5 volatility game, the version running is the single biggest published difference between one copy of Nitro Nights and another.

How Burnout Mode works

Burnout Mode activates as soon as a Nitro symbol lands. Hacksaw states that it awards Nudges, Wild symbols and Multipliers, and its own summary adds that at least 5 Nudges and Wild symbols are guaranteed every time the mode starts.

During each Nudge, every Wild symbol and Position Multiplier on the grid is Sticky. All other symbols move down one row, and new symbols drop in from the top to fill the gap. The effect is that the payline wins are re-evaluated against a fresh set of symbols while the Wilds and multipliers stay exactly where they were.

The feature runs on fuel. A Nitrous Bar outside the grid holds the Nudges, and the Nudges continue until that bar is empty. When another Nitro symbol lands during a Nudge, new Nudges are awarded, so one Nitro can lead to a long run if more follow it down the reels.

Position Multipliers and sticky Wilds

Position Multipliers multiply every winning combination they are part of. Because they are Sticky during Nudges, a multiplier placed early in Burnout Mode keeps working on every Nudge that follows, as long as new paylines pass through its position.

The same is true of the Wilds. A Wild that stays put while the other symbols slide past it can complete a different line combination on each Nudge. Wilds and multipliers on the same lines are where Burnout Mode does its work.

Hacksaw's page does not give the values Position Multipliers can take, or say how multiple multipliers on one line combine, so check the in-game rules or the demo before assuming a figure.

Seoul, Tokyo and the hidden Fukushima bonus

Landing 3 or more FS symbols at the same time triggers one of three bonus games, and the number of FS symbols decides which.

Seoul is the entry bonus: 3 FS symbols award 8 free spins with a higher chance of landing Nitro symbols. More Nitro symbols means Burnout Mode starts more often, so this round is the base game's main feature played more frequently.

Tokyo needs 4 FS symbols and also awards 8 free spins, this time with a progressive Global Multiplier. Epic Nitro symbols can land in Tokyo, and they increase the Global Multiplier's value with each Nudge. Unlike Position Multipliers, which apply only where they sit, a Global Multiplier applies across the grid, and in Tokyo it only grows.

Fukushima is the hidden epic bonus, triggered by 5 FS symbols. It awards a single Super Nitrous free spin with a Super Nitrous Bar that can hold unlimited Nudges. A Nitro symbol is guaranteed to land and award at least 10 Nudges, double the minimum Hacksaw guarantees for Burnout Mode in the base game.

Which bonus changes the most

The three bonuses change different parts of the same engine. Seoul changes how often Burnout Mode starts, Tokyo adds a multiplier that grows with every Nudge, and Fukushima removes the cap on how long one Burnout can run.

Fukushima is the one that looks least like the others. One spin sounds short, but with an unlimited Super Nitrous Bar and at least 10 guaranteed Nudges, that single spin can last as long as Nitro symbols keep refilling it.

Tokyo is the most multiplier-driven. Each Nudge after an Epic Nitro raises the Global Multiplier, so the later Nudges of a long Burnout run are worth more than the early ones.

Nitro Nights demo: what to watch

The free Nitro Nights demo on this page runs with play credits. Open the rules first to see which of the four RTP versions it uses, then watch the Nitrous Bar each time Burnout Mode starts, since it tells you how many Nudges are left.

Track where the sticky Wilds and Position Multipliers sit as the other symbols slide down. A multiplier on a row that several paylines cross does more over a long run of Nudges than one in a corner.

The provider's page does not mention a bonus buy, so we have not assumed one. A demo session shows how the mechanics behave, not what any future spin will pay.

FAQs

What is the RTP of Nitro Nights?

Hacksaw Gaming lists four RTPs for Nitro Nights: 96.31%, 94.34%, 92.22% and 86.26%. The game is offered in all four versions, so the in-game rules screen shows which one you are playing. The highest version returns just over ten percentage points more over the long run than the lowest, which makes it worth checking every time.

What is the max win on Nitro Nights?

The max win on Nitro Nights is 15,000x the bet, according to Hacksaw Gaming. The biggest results come from long Burnout Mode runs, where sticky Wilds and Position Multipliers stay in place through repeated Nudges, and from the Tokyo bonus, whose progressive Global Multiplier grows with each Nudge after an Epic Nitro symbol lands.

How does Burnout Mode work in Nitro Nights?

Burnout Mode starts when a Nitro symbol lands and awards Nudges, Wilds and multipliers, with at least 5 Nudges and Wilds guaranteed. During each Nudge, Wilds and Position Multipliers stay Sticky while other symbols move down a row. More Nitro symbols add Nudges, and the feature runs until the Nitrous Bar beside the grid is empty.

How do you trigger the Nitro Nights bonus games?

Land FS symbols at the same time in the base game. Three award Seoul, 8 free spins with more Nitro symbols. Four award Tokyo, 8 free spins with a progressive Global Multiplier. Five award the hidden epic bonus Fukushima, a single Super Nitrous free spin with unlimited Nudges and at least 10 guaranteed.

Is Nitro Nights high volatility?

Hacksaw Gaming rates Nitro Nights 4 / 5 for volatility, one step below the top of its scale. That points to a game whose returns lean on Burnout Mode and the bonuses rather than frequent small wins. Paired with a 15,000x max win and four RTP versions, the version you play matters as much as the rating.
