Marlin Masters is a Hacksaw Gaming slot centred on cash-value Marlin symbols and Fishermen that collect those prizes from the grid. Its main feature set combines these collectors with multipliers, Wild substitutions, and three different free spins triggers.

The number of FS symbols landed in the base game determines which bonus opens. Three FS symbols trigger Reel It In, four activate Off the Hook, and five unlock Plenty of Fish in the Sea. Multiple Fishermen can contribute to the same result, although a Fisherman never collects the value of another Fisherman symbol.

The Wild substitutes for every other symbol in the paytable. Its role is separate from the Marlin collection mechanic, helping complete standard winning combinations rather than displaying or collecting a cash value.

Reel It In is triggered by landing three FS symbols in the base game and begins with 10 free spins. A Marlin Progress Bar then appears above the grid. Every Fisherman that lands advances the bar by one step, even when that Fisherman has no Marlin symbols to collect.

The first upgrade is reached after four Fisherman symbols have been collected. It adds 10 free spins and gives subsequent Fishermen a minimum multiplier of 2x. The second upgrade adds another 10 spins and raises the minimum to 4x. Reaching the third upgrade awards 10 more spins and sets a 10x minimum for later Fishermen.

Landing four FS symbols simultaneously in the base game activates Off the Hook with 15 free spins. It uses the same Marlin Progress Bar concept as Reel It In, but every Fisherman starts with a guaranteed multiplier of at least 2x.

Collecting four Fishermen reaches the first upgrade, awarding 15 additional spins and raising the Fisherman minimum to 4x. The next upgrade adds another 15 spins with a 10x minimum. The final level supplies 15 more spins and guarantees that subsequent Fishermen have multipliers of at least 15x.

Five FS symbols in the base game trigger Plenty of Fish in the Sea and award 10 free spins. Instead of building Fisherman multiplier floors through progress levels, this feature places a minimum value of 5x on every Marlin symbol.

Each free spin is also guaranteed to land at least one Marlin and one Fisherman symbol. That pairing ensures a cash-value symbol and its collector are present on every round of the feature, although the specific Marlin values and Fisherman multipliers can still vary.

Reel It In requires the fewest FS symbols and develops through three progress upgrades, moving the minimum Fisherman multiplier from no stated starting floor to 2x, 4x, and 10x. If every listed upgrade is reached, its initial spins and added awards total 40 free spins.

Off the Hook starts with a 2x Fisherman minimum and offers stronger later floors of 4x, 10x, and 15x, with listed spin awards totalling 60 if all upgrades are reached. Plenty of Fish in the Sea takes a different approach, guaranteeing at least one Marlin and one Fisherman per spin while setting every Marlin value at 5x or higher.
