Le Bandit

ZUT ALORS! LE BANDIT'S IN TOWN!

Le Bandit slot overview

Le Bandit is a Hacksaw Gaming cluster-pays slot set on the streets of urban Paris. Its central character is Smokey Le Bandit, a crowbar-carrying raccoon with a taste for pickpocketing and Leprechaun hats.

The action takes place across six reels and five rows. Super Cascades create repeat winning opportunities, while Golden Squares connect the standard game to a collection mechanic involving Rainbows, Coins, Four-Leaf Clovers and Pots of Gold.

How Super Cascades work

Whenever a winning combination forms, all contributing regular paying symbols disappear. Any visible symbols of the same matching types are also removed, allowing a new set of symbols to tumble into the vacant positions.

The sequence continues for as long as each new cascade produces another win. Besides extending a single spin, these cascades are important because every position involved in a win becomes a Golden Square after its symbol vanishes.

Golden Squares and Rainbow activation

Golden Squares mark cells that have contributed to winning combinations. If a Rainbow is present on the same spin, every highlighted position activates and reveals either a coin value or one of the two special symbols.

The possible results are Bronze, Silver or Gold Coins, Four-Leaf Clovers and Pots of Gold. Their effects are resolved in stages, so the order in which the symbols activate can materially change the collected multiplier.

Coins, Clovers and Pots of Gold

Bronze Coin values range from 0.2x to 4x the stake, while Silver Coins award between 5x and 20x. Gold Coins can carry values of up to 500x.

Four-Leaf Clovers multiply adjacent cells by between 2x and 10x, including adjacent Pots of Gold. Pots then collect the combined values of visible Coins and other Pots of Gold, storing the resulting multiplier total.

Multiple Pots resolve from top to bottom and left to right. They can collect one another's stored values after the Coin collections have taken place. Once the final Pot has finished, the Golden Squares reactivate for another round of the process.

Three free spins bonus routes

Luck of the Bandit is triggered by landing three FS symbols in the base game. Golden Squares remain highlighted between spins until a Rainbow activates them. Two FS symbols add two spins, while three FS symbols add three more. Landing four FS symbols can upgrade the round to All That Glitters Is Gold, carrying over the current free spins and adding four.

All That Glitters Is Gold starts with 12 free spins when four FS symbols land together in the base game. Golden Squares remain highlighted throughout the feature and can be activated repeatedly whenever a Rainbow appears. Retriggers follow the same two-symbol and three-symbol rules.

Treasure at the End of the Rainbow is triggered by five FS symbols in the base game and awards 12 free spins. Highlighted squares remain active throughout, and a Rainbow is guaranteed on every spin. This highest-tier feature cannot be purchased.

Bonus Buy and FeatureSpins

Le Bandit includes a Buy Bonus menu that provides immediate access to bonus rounds. Treasure at the End of the Rainbow is specifically excluded from purchase and must be triggered through play.

BonusHunt FeatureSpins™ are a separate option. They provide five times the usual odds of triggering a bonus game in exchange for a fee equal to three times the selected stake.

RTP, volatility and maximum win

Le Bandit is rated at 3 out of 5 for volatility and uses a Cluster Pays win system. The stated maximum win is 10,000x the stake.

The published game data lists four RTP configurations: 96.34%, 94.23%, 92.17% and 88.36%. Since the source does not identify one universal default, checking the active RTP is important when comparing different versions of the game.

What to watch in the Le Bandit demo

The Le Bandit demo is most useful for following the full feature sequence. Watch how clusters lead into cascades, how winning positions become Golden Squares, and whether a Rainbow arrives to convert those positions into Coins or special symbols.

It is also worth observing the settlement order when several Clovers or Pots appear together. The top-to-bottom, left-to-right Pot sequence is central to understanding how values can be collected, multiplied and passed between symbols.

Slotscritic review summary

Le Bandit's core loop is easy to identify, but its collection stage has more detail than a standard cascading slot. Wins create Golden Squares, Rainbows activate them, and the resulting Coins, Clovers and Pots determine how the multiplier develops.

The three free spins routes progressively strengthen that mechanic through persistent Golden Squares and, in the top feature, a guaranteed Rainbow on every spin. The key specifications are a 10,000x maximum win, 3 out of 5 volatility and four listed RTP settings.
