Fire my Laser overview
Fire my Laser is a Hacksaw Gaming slot built around destroying symbols rather than simply leaving them on the grid. Bombs, lasers and Orbital Bombardment strikes remove paying symbols, with each destroyed paying symbol awarding the amount listed in the paytable.
Wins are gathered in the Total Win Bar above the grid and paid after the spin has finished resolving. Dead symbols do not pay when destroyed, while shielded Multiplier and FS symbols must be hit several times before they activate.
How destroyed symbols create wins
Bomb and Laser symbols provide the main win mechanic. When one activates, it hits a defined area of the grid and removes the symbols caught in its pattern. Paying symbols contribute to the collected win, while the destruction of Dead symbols gives no award.
Each removal starts a cascade. Remaining symbols fall into the empty spaces and new symbols enter from above. The grid settles before another Bomb or Laser activates, so one spin can develop through several distinct stages.
Four weapons, four strike patterns
The Small Bomb clears a 3x3 area centered on its position. The Big Bomb expands that blast to a 5x5 area. X-Lasers fire one-symbol-wide diagonal lines from their position to all four diagonal edges of the grid.
The Super Laser uses the same four diagonal directions but fires lines three symbols wide. It also has a separate advantage against shielded symbols, since every Shield caught by a Super Laser is destroyed instantly.
Orbital Bombardment and chain activations
Once the grid has settled and no Bombs or Lasers remain to be activated, an Orbital Bombardment may occur. It targets between three and seven positions, with each strike covering a 2x2 area centered on an intersection between symbols. More than one bombardment can happen during the same spin.
Bombardment strikes can activate Bomb or Laser symbols they hit. The same chain reaction applies when one Bomb or Laser catches another in its effect. Landed weapons are activated randomly, with the stated resolution order running bottom-to-top and right-to-left.
Shields and multiplier values
Shields appear on Multiplier and FS symbols. A blue icon in the top-left corner shows how many hits remain before the Shield breaks. Regular Bombs, X-Lasers and bombardment strikes reduce this count, while a Super Laser removes the Shield immediately.
Multipliers with two-hit Shields can carry values of 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, 6x, 7x, 8x, 9x or 10x. Three-hit Shields protect the larger 15x, 20x, 25x, 50x, 100x, 250x and 500x values.
A Multiplier activates when its Shield breaks. At the end of the spin, activated Multiplier values are added together, and the resulting total is applied to the winnings collected in the Total Win Bar.
Alien Attack free spins
Alien Attack begins with eight free spins. It is triggered in the base game by breaking the three-hit Shield on a single Alien Mind FS symbol.
Activated Multipliers are stored in a Progressive Multiplier during this feature. That multiplier applies to the collected win on any spin where at least one new Multiplier has been added to it. Breaking another Alien Mind FS Shield during the bonus awards two additional free spins.
Extermination free spins
Extermination starts with 12 free spins after the three-hit Shield on a Power Core FS symbol is broken in the base game. Like Alien Attack, it keeps the Bomb, Laser, cascade and Shield mechanics in play.
Its Progressive Global Multiplier is always active, applying to the collected win at the end of every free spin. Any activated Multipliers are stored in this running value. Breaking a Power Core FS Shield during the feature adds two free spins.
What to watch in the demo
The Fire my Laser demo is useful for following the order in which weapons activate and the grid settles. Watch how a single blast can start cascades, expose new weapons and lead into an Orbital Bombardment after the regular activation sequence ends.
It is also worth tracking the blue Shield counters. FS symbols need three hits, only one FS symbol can appear on the grid at a time, and the two bonus modes handle their stored multipliers differently. Alien Attack applies its Progressive Multiplier only when a new value is added, while Extermination applies its Progressive Global Multiplier on every spin.
