Evil Eyes at a glance
Evil Eyes is a Hacksaw Gaming slot played on five reels and five rows using ways wins. Its central symbol is the Evil Eye, which can extend completed wins across the grid through the Evil Spread mechanic.
The game has two main bonus features, Wicked Night and The Graveyard, alongside a randomly activated Wicked Epic Drop™. The stated maximum win is 12,500 times the bet, and it can be reached in every game mode.
How the Evil Spread mechanic works
The Evil Eye becomes active when it lands beneath a symbol involved in a win. It marks every symbol forming that win, then turns either to the right or downward to show the direction of the spread.
Evil Spread replaces the marked positions with the winning symbol and carries that symbol to the edge of the grid in the selected direction. The Evil Eye is also replaced if the spread passes through its own position. A spread moving to the right can sometimes activate again in the downward direction.
Base-game appearances of the Evil Eye are restricted. It can land only on reel 3, cannot occupy the first row, and only one Evil Eye can appear on the grid at a time.
Wicked Night multiplier feature
Wicked Night activates when at least three FS scatter symbols land together in the base game. It begins with three lives, with each life representing one spin. Only non-paying symbols, Evil Eye symbols and multiplier scatters appear during the feature.
An Evil Eye can look up, down, left or right, collecting every multiplier crossed by its gaze. Collected values are added to the reel multiplier above the reel where each multiplier landed. Collection follows the line from the Eye toward the edge of the grid.
Unlike the base game, Evil Eyes can land across all reels and several may appear at once. If one Eye looks through another, the crossed Eye reveals a multiplier that is added to every reel multiplier.
Adding multiplier values are 1x, 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, 6x, 7x, 8x, 9x, 10x, 15x, 20x, 25x, 50x and 100x. Multiplying values are x2, x3, x4, x5 and x10.
The three lives refill whenever an Eye looks at and collects a multiplier. If three spins pass without another reset, Wicked Night ends. The final reel multipliers are then added together and applied to the bet to calculate the feature win.
The Graveyard free spins
Landing at least four FS symbols together in the base game activates The Graveyard with 10 free spins. During this feature, FS symbols are limited to reels 2, 3 and 4.
The Graveyard gradually removes low symbols from circulation. When a low symbol forms part of a win and is extended by Evil Spread, that symbol will not appear on later spins in the feature. An indicator above the grid records which low symbols remain.
Extra FS symbols can extend the round. Two FS symbols award two additional spins, while three FS symbols award four additional spins.
What happens during a Wicked Epic Drop™
Wicked Epic Drop™ can activate randomly at the start of a base-game spin. The grid temporarily changes into the Wicked Night setup for a single spin.
That spin guarantees at least three Evil Eye symbols and four multipliers, with at least one multiplier guaranteed to be collected. There are no lives in this version of the feature. Once its result has been awarded, the slot returns to the base game.
FS symbol rules and bonus buy menu
In the base game, FS symbols can land only on reels 2 through 5. In The Graveyard, their possible positions narrow to reels 2 through 4.
Where market rules permit bonus buying, BonusHunt FeatureSpins™ costs 3x the bet and makes each spin five times more likely to trigger one of the bonus games.
I Spy With My Evil Eye FeatureSpins™ costs 50x. Every spin guarantees at least three Evil Eyes and four multipliers, with at least one multiplier collected through the Wicked Night-style gaze mechanic.
An Eye For An Evil Eye FeatureSpins™ also costs 50x and guarantees both a win and an Evil Eye on every spin. Direct entry to Wicked Night costs 100x the bet, while direct entry to The Graveyard costs 200x.
What to watch in the Evil Eyes demo
The demo is useful for seeing the exact condition behind an Evil Spread. An Eye merely appearing is not enough in the base game. It must land beneath a winning symbol before it can mark the win and choose a direction.
During Wicked Night, watch the order in which multipliers are collected from the Eye to the edge of the grid. It is also worth noting whether a gaze crosses another Eye, since that event adds the revealed value to every reel multiplier.
The Graveyard should be read differently. Its key progression comes from low symbols being removed after they contribute to wins expanded by Evil Spread, rather than from the reel-multiplier system used in Wicked Night.
Evil Eyes review summary
Evil Eyes builds its rules around one symbol but gives it distinct jobs across the game. In the base game and The Graveyard, the Eye extends existing wins. In Wicked Night and Wicked Epic Drop™, its gaze collects multiplier values.
The main points to remember are the Eye's restricted base-game position, the refilling three-life structure of Wicked Night, the symbol removal process in The Graveyard and the 12,500x maximum win available across all modes.
