Baccarat by Hacksaw Gaming is a card prediction game built around three possible outcomes. Before each round, you can bet on the Player, the Banker, the Tie, or place wagers on multiple outcomes at the same time.

Once BET is pressed, the cards are dealt and the result is revealed according to a fixed set of drawing rules. The maximum win is 9 times the bet and comes from correctly predicting a Tie.

Each round uses eight standard 52-card decks shuffled together, with jokers excluded. The Player and Banker initially receive two cards each. Cards are dealt in alternating order, beginning with the Player, and each card is revealed as it is dealt.

Depending on the value of the opening hands, a third card may be dealt to the Player, the Banker, both hands, or neither hand. These decisions are governed by the baccarat tableau rather than being selected by the player.

Aces have a value of 1. Cards from 2 through 9 retain their printed value, while 10, Jack, Queen, and King are each worth 10.

To calculate a hand, the card values are added together and the total is divided by ten. Only the remainder is retained as the hand value. Once all required cards have been dealt, the final values determine the outcome.

An opening hand with a value of 8 or 9 is classed as a natural. If either hand has a natural 8 or 9, neither the Player nor the Banker receives a third card.

When there is no natural, the Player follows a simple rule. A Player total of 6 or 7 stands, while a total of 5 or less draws a third card.

If the Player stands with 6 or 7, the Banker also uses the basic rule: stand on 6 or 7 and draw on 5 or less.

When the Player draws a third card, the Banker's decision depends on both its own total and the Player's new card. The Banker draws on 2 or less regardless of the Player card. On 3, it draws unless the Player's third card is an 8. On 4, it draws when that card is 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, or 7.

A Banker total of 5 draws when the Player's third card is 4, 5, 6, or 7. A total of 6 draws only when the Player's third card is 6 or 7, while a Banker total of 7 always stands.

A winning Player wager pays 2x the amount placed on the Player. A winning Banker wager pays 1.95x the Banker stake, while a successful Tie wager pays 9x.

If the round ends in a Tie, wagers placed on the Player and Banker are returned. The final award is calculated by multiplying the relevant bet level by its payout multiplier. The 9x Tie result is the highest available win.

The demo is useful for following the order of play without having to memorise the entire tableau at once. Watch the initial two-card deal, check whether either hand has a natural, and then compare the automatic third-card decision with the rules.

You can also test the option to bet on more than one outcome in the same round. The settings menu is configurable, while the payout display shows how the Player, Banker, and Tie multipliers apply.
