Doctor Dust at a glance
Doctor Dust is a Bullshark Games slot released on 9 October 2026, built on a 5x5 grid where wins come from clusters of 4 or more matching symbols. Winning symbols clear and the grid cascades, so one spin can chain several wins together.
The setting is a post-apocalyptic wasteland, with a plague doctor picking through the ruins for parts. Those parts are the game's engine: every winning symbol in a spin is counted, and the count unlocks Grid Boosters that rewrite the grid before the spin ends.
The design choice that shapes everything else is that Wild symbols never land on their own. They only arrive through one of the four boosters, so the size of each spin's symbol count decides how much help the grid gets.
Doctor Dust RTP, volatility and max win
Bullshark Games lists the RTP as 96.30, 94.26, which means the game exists in two versions: one at 96.30% and one at 94.26%. The RTP stated in the game's own rules shows which version is running.
Volatility is rated 5/5, the top of the provider's scale. The hit rate is listed as 20.65, 20.64, so roughly one spin in five returns a win whichever version is loaded, and about four in five collect nothing at all.
The max win is 12,000x (€900,000 or equivalent in other currencies, based on €75 bet). Bullshark Games states that the max win can be achieved in all game modes.
Default bet levels are 0.10 - 75, from a €0.10 minimum to a €75 maximum. The product sheet lists the features as Win multipliers, Grid boosters, Wild symbols and Free Spins, and the game is translated into 27 languages, including Japanese, Korean and Chinese.
How the collection bar works
Every winning symbol in a spin feeds a five-segment bar beside the grid, and each segment holds 8 symbols. Filling segments one to four unlocks one Grid Booster each, so 32 collected symbols are enough to see all four boosters in a single base game spin.
The boosters arrive in random order and none repeats within a spin. Filling the fifth segment, 40 symbols in total, triggers the bonus game.
Counting carries on past 40. Each further 8 symbols raises a number in the middle of the bar by one, up to a maximum of 4, and that number sets how many segments start pre-filled when the bonus begins. Reaching 4 takes 72 symbols, the same figure Bullshark Games gives for triggering the stronger Toxic Vault bonus, and once it is reached no more symbols are collected.
None of this carries over between base game spins. The bar empties every time you spin again, so a spin that stalls at 30 symbols gives the next one no head start.
The four Grid Boosters
Each booster fires on its own once the grid settles, and the grid cascades and settles again after every one. Because all winning symbols in the spin are counted, wins created by one booster keep filling the bar while the next booster waits its turn.
Clone copies one random row onto 1 or 2 neighbouring rows. Wilds already sitting on the overwritten rows stay where they are, and any cell multipliers on the source row travel with the copy, adding to whatever multiplier the destination cell already holds.
Switch picks 1 to 3 random rows and turns every symbol in each row into a copy of that row's first symbol. A switched row of five matching symbols already meets the four-symbol cluster minimum. Wilds stay Wild and cell multipliers stay fixed to their cells; only the symbols change.
Wilds drops 2 to 5 Wild symbols onto random positions. Some carry a multiplier of 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, 10x, 15x, 20x, 25x, 50x or 100x, which is written into that cell as a cell multiplier and added to any value already there.
Power Line clears one random row and one random column, refills those cells with new symbols (never Wilds) and gives every cell in that cross a random multiplier from the same 2x to 100x list. On a 5x5 grid that is nine cells. The cell where the row and column meet receives two values added together, so by the published values it can hold anything from 4x to 200x from Power Line alone. Wilds in the path are left in place.
Cell multipliers and Wild symbols
Cell multipliers belong to grid positions, not to symbols, and only two things create them: the Power Line booster and Wilds that carry a multiplier. When a winning cluster covers a cell with a multiplier, that multiplier applies to the win.
If a cluster covers several multiplier cells, their values are added together first and then applied. As an illustration of that rule, a cluster touching a 10x cell and a 5x cell pays at 15x, not 50x.
Each multiplier is used once: it is removed the moment it has been applied, together with the winning symbols it paid on. Booster order therefore matters, because a Clone that fires after Power Line can copy fresh multipliers onto a neighbouring row before a win uses them up.
The Wild symbol substitutes for every symbol in the paytable. Since it cannot land during a normal spin, the Wilds booster is its only source.
Surface Search and Toxic Vault bonus games
Surface Search triggers when a base game spin collects at least 40 winning symbols. It has no fixed number of free spins: it opens with a spin that runs all four Grid Boosters in random order, then keeps going for as long as each spin collects enough symbols.
In the bonus the bar has 4 segments of 8 symbols. Each segment filled on one spin awards one Grid Booster for the next, so a spin that collects 24 winning symbols sets up three boosters for the following spin. A spin that fills no segment, meaning fewer than 8 winning symbols, ends the feature, and there is no limit on how many spins the run can last.
The extra symbols from the triggering spin matter here. They pre-fill segments of the bonus bar at the start, giving the opening spin's count a head start towards the next spin's boosters. From the second spin onwards, every count starts from 0.
Toxic Vault triggers at 72 or more winning symbols and uses the same rules with a stronger start. It awards 2 Free Spins and the middle number is set at 4, so the second free spin is guaranteed to run all four Grid Boosters, just as the first does.
Doctor Dust demo: what to watch
The free Doctor Dust demo on this page is the quickest way to see how often the bar really moves. Track the segment count rather than the win meter: 8 symbols for the first booster, 32 for all four, 40 for Surface Search and 72 for Toxic Vault.
Note the order the boosters fire in. Power Line before Clone can spread fresh multipliers across rows, Switch rewrites whole rows while leaving Wilds and multipliers where they are, and a multiplier Wild that lands on a Power Line cell adds its value to the one already there.
Bullshark Games does not list a bonus buy among the game's features on its page, so both bonus games are reached through the collection bar. With a listed hit rate of about 20.6%, most spins add nothing to it, and a demo session shows how the mechanics behave, not what any future spin will pay.

FAQs
What is the RTP of Doctor Dust?
Bullshark Games lists Doctor Dust's RTP as 96.30, 94.26, so there are two versions of the game: one returning 96.30% over the long run and one returning 94.26%. Check the RTP stated in the game's rules to see which version is running. The listed hit rate barely changes between them, at 20.65 and 20.64.
What is the max win on Doctor Dust?
The max win is 12,000x (€900,000 or equivalent in other currencies, based on €75 bet), and Bullshark Games says it can be achieved in all game modes. Large results depend on cell multipliers, which come only from the Power Line booster and multiplier Wilds, with values from 2x to 100x per cell that add together when a cluster covers several.
How do you trigger the Doctor Dust bonus?
Collect at least 40 winning symbols in one base game spin to fill all five segments of the collection bar and start Surface Search. Reach 72 winning symbols in the same spin and Toxic Vault starts, with 2 Free Spins and an all-booster second spin. Winning symbols from every cascade in the spin count, including wins created by the Grid Boosters.
Is Doctor Dust a high volatility slot?
Yes. Bullshark Games rates Doctor Dust's volatility 5/5, the top of its scale, and lists a hit rate of 20.65, 20.64, so roughly four spins in five produce no win. Most of the game's range sits in the Grid Boosters and the open-ended Surface Search bonus, which needs 40 winning symbols in a single spin to start.
Can you play the Doctor Dust demo for free?
Yes. The Doctor Dust demo on this page runs the game with play credits, so you can watch the collection bar, the Clone, Switch, Wilds and Power Line boosters and the bonus rules in action without staking money. It is the same 5x5 cascading cluster game that Bullshark Games released on 9 October 2026.
Does Doctor Dust have a bonus buy?
Bullshark Games does not list a bonus buy on its Doctor Dust game page. The published features are Win multipliers, Grid boosters, Wild symbols and Free Spins, and both bonus games are reached by collecting winning symbols in the base game: 40 in one spin for Surface Search and 72 for Toxic Vault.
