New Crypto Casinos: how they work, what to check and how the ones we cover compare

A brand under twelve months old has little record to judge, so here is what is known, what to check and where the risks sit.

What are new crypto casinos?

New crypto casinos are online casinos and sportsbooks that take cryptocurrency and launched in roughly the last twelve months. Here that means brands such as Maxxed, Frog Bet and Spartans, all launched or announced in 2026.

People look at them for launch promotions, new in-house games and lighter sign-up. The cost is a missing track record. A brand a few months old has no long run of payout reports, few reviews and often a freshly registered domain. We list these casinos with what is known, and none of them is a recommendation. Every one of the 11 we cover here is rated "too new" on its profile, which means there is not yet enough evidence to say more.

How to choose

Start with who runs the site. A review of new crypto casinos published by Bitrates on 18 October 2026 sets out seven checks: open the licence seal and confirm the validator names the same company as the terms (a seal that does not link is a fail), search the operating company and its sister brands for complaints, look only at recent withdrawal reports, confirm your coin appears on the withdrawal list and not just the deposit list, read the terms for first-withdrawal documents and daily or weekly caps, check wagering and maximum bet on any bonus, and ask support which network a withdrawal uses. Bitrates says its casino links are paid placements, so we use its checklist and not its picks. Bitrates.

Next, check the launch date against what you can verify. Maxxed is a useful example. A Gambling.com report last updated on 1 October 2026, based on a company release of 30 September, described an Anjouan-licensed crypto casino and sportsbook from Obsidian Ventures Limited that was still in pre-launch, with a community on Discord and X, 5,000+ games from more than 40 studios and 15+ in-house originals. It gave October 2026 as the launch month without a day, and we could not find a report confirming it had gone live as of 1 November 2026. Gambling.com.

Last, make a small test deposit and withdrawal before anything larger, and keep to money you can afford to lose. Crypto balances move with the market and transfers cannot be reversed.

The risks

The biggest one for UK readers: a casino needs a Gambling Commission licence to offer gambling to people in Great Britain, and almost no crypto casino holds one. Players on such sites sit outside GAMSTOP and UK dispute routes. The Commission's own report says it had issued 3,140 cease and desist and disruption notices since April 2024, and referred 447,778 URLs to Google and Bing, of which 287,961 had been removed. The report was published on 21 October 2025. Gambling Commission disruption report.

The licence a new casino does hold is usually offshore. Hazreviews, writing on 20 May 2026, describes Curacao's direct licensing regime (in force since 24 December 2024) as stricter than before, and says Anjouan's oversight is lighter and its dispute mechanisms are "not on the level of Tier 1 jurisdictions". Hazreviews. On 21 October 2026 Gambling.com reported that the Comoros government had asked the UK for help against the Anjouan licensing network, that the Central Bank of the Comoros calls the regime illegal, and that nearly 1,500 licence holders appear on the Anjouan register. It also notes Anjouan licences do not authorise serving British players. Gambling.com. A licence number on a footer is therefore a starting point, not an assurance.

Newness has its own failure mode. Marketing leads, and complaints arrive later, so the first months give the least information. Where a site says only that verification may be requested later, assume it can be.

How the casinos we cover compare

All 11 casinos on this page are rated "too new" by us, so none has earned a stronger or weaker grade yet. They differ in what is known. Frog Bet has the most outside detail. World Wide Gamblers' review, dated 5 September 2026, says it checked licence ALSI-202512022-FI1 on the Anjouan register, that sign-up needs only an email address, and that a $24 USDT withdrawal arrived within minutes while another took almost two hours after a manual security review. The same review notes the terms still allow identity checks when an account is flagged. World Wide Gamblers. That is one reviewer's experience, not a guarantee.

Maxxed is the least tested, as above. Spartans, Grailbet, Spinzen and Cocobet advertise rakeback, cashback or large welcome packages, which tell you about the marketing but nothing about payouts. Kings Game has drawn reports from players of bonus disputes under its sports rules. Spinzen states a 15% fee on withdrawals under three times the deposit, which is the kind of term to read before depositing. Lucky Anon, Smash Casino, Daler and Rollion Bet round out the list. Read each profile, and treat our "too new" label as a prompt to wait, not a verdict.

FAQs

What counts as a new crypto casino?

On this site, a crypto casino that launched in the last twelve months. That usually means a short payout history, few reviews and often a young domain. New does not mean bad, but it does mean the evidence is thin, so we mark these as too new to judge.

Are new crypto casinos legal in the UK?

A casino must hold a UK Gambling Commission licence to offer gambling to people in Great Britain, and almost no crypto casino does. Players on offshore sites have no GAMSTOP cover and no UK dispute route. The Commission has issued thousands of cease and desist notices since April 2024.

How do I check a new casino's licence?

Open the licence seal in the footer and make sure it links to the regulator's validator, which should name the same company as the casino's terms. A seal that does not link is a fail. Also check the register lists the exact domain you are using.

Is an Anjouan licence reliable?

It is an offshore licence with limited player-dispute routes. In October 2026 the Comoros government asked the UK for help against the Anjouan licensing network, and its Central Bank calls the regime illegal. Treat the licence as a minimum and read the casino's terms carefully.

Should I deposit large amounts at a brand-new casino?

We would not. Make a small test deposit and withdrawal first, read the verification and cap terms, and keep to money you can afford to lose. Crypto transfers cannot be reversed, and a young brand has little track record to lean on.
