Six Feet Under reaches every Nolimit City partner
The biggest release of the week is Nolimit City's Six Feet Under, which went on general release on 20 October after a week of exclusive early access that began on 13 October. It is a six-reel, six-row cascading game with a 96.05% top RTP, a 21.90% hit frequency and a 30,000x maximum win.
Nolimit City puts the odds of reaching that cap at 1 in 93 million, far steeper than the 1 in 17 million it published for Gator Hunters 2 a fortnight earlier. Free spins are listed at 1 in 233 spins. Stakes on the provider's own page run from €0.20 to €100, though UK sites cap them lower under the online slot stake limits.
The hook is dirt. Positions on the bottom rows fill with dirt that can hide Bonus symbols, Bombs or Gems. Six Bomb types clear different shapes, from a 3x3 box to whole columns, and a Gem uncovered by a Bomb pays its value times the bet, with base values running from 1x to 1,000x and growing at the start of each avalanche. A Shovel adds and upgrades Gems on one reel; a Toolbox does the same across all six.
The bonus, The Descent, starts from three visible Bonus symbols. Dirt sticks each drop and the round ends when the reel area is full. Where bonus buys are legal, the menu runs from a 3x Bonus Booster to a 3,000x Greediest Spin that fills every dirt position with 1,000x Gems. None of those buy options appears on UK-licensed sites, which have barred bonus buys since 2019.
Sweet Bonanza joins Pragmatic's POP series
Pragmatic Play released Sweet Bonanza POP on 20 October, putting its best known candy brand into the compact POP format it used for Gates of Olympus POP. The game runs on a 3x5 grid with tumbling scatter pays, a 97.05% top RTP and medium volatility.
Matching symbols anywhere on the grid pay up to 50x in the base game. Three or more lollipop scatters or POP symbols start 10 free spins, and Candy Bomb multipliers of 2x to 1,000x sit on the grid until the tumble ends before their total applies to the win.
The headline number comes from the POP symbols themselves. One, two or three in the triggering combination pay the 50x Spark, 500x Snap or 25,000x Burst jackpot instantly, so the 25,000x top prize is decided before the free spins begin. That is a different shape of risk from Sweet Bonanza 2500: a smaller screen built for phones, with much of the upside concentrated in the trigger.
Hacksaw ships The Jade Path and signs Bally's Intralot
Hacksaw Gaming released The Jade Path Hold & Win on 15 October, a paylines game rated three out of five for volatility with a 2,500x maximum win. Hacksaw lists four RTP settings for it, from 96.19% down to 86.28%, so the version on a given site is worth checking in the game's info screen.
Three Orb symbols start the Jade Hold & Win, with three refilling lives, Coin Orbs, five jackpot Orbs and Jaguar Multipliers that multiply every Coin Orb on the grid. Three Bonus symbols instead give 10 free spins with sticky Warrior Wilds, and landing three or more Bonus symbols together offers a choice between the two bonus games.
A day later, on 16 October, Hacksaw announced that Bally's Intralot will carry a selection of its slots on its UK platform. The company says it is its 72nd operator partnership in the British market. No titles were named, but the deal widens where UK players will find Hacksaw games, all under Gambling Commission rules with bonus buys switched off.

Hacksaw moves into prediction markets after a soft quarter
On 15 October Hacksaw Group launched a B2B prediction markets platform, after the Malta Gaming Authority extended its Critical Gaming Supply licence to cover Type 3 Gaming Services alongside its existing Type 1 authorisation. Operators keep their own brands and customers; Hacksaw supplies the technology and pools peer-to-peer activity across its network.
The timing matters. Three days earlier, on 12 October, Hacksaw said third-quarter revenue would land at €57.5m to €58.5m, growth of roughly 11% to 12%, which it called more moderate than its recent history and blamed partly on weaker game performance. The shares fell more than 27% in Stockholm that morning, to SEK59.40, and rose 3.44% to SEK57.15 on the day of the prediction markets news.
For slot players the short-term effect is nil: no operator partners or launch dates have been named. The longer question is focus. A studio telling investors its recent games performed below par, while adding a new product line, has to show its release slate can still carry the business. Full Q3 results are due on 3 November.
Gambling Commission: £900,000 settlement over withdrawal delays
The Gambling Commission announced on 21 October that L & L Europe Limited, which runs seven online casino websites, will pay £900,000 under a regulatory settlement. The failures included withdrawal terms the Commission considers unfair under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Customers could request only one withdrawal at a time, with further requests blocked until the first was authorised. For some customers every fifth or tenth withdrawal went to manual review, which led to requests for information at the point of cashing out. The Commission's position is that information should not be demanded at withdrawal if the operator could reasonably have asked for it earlier.
The settlement also covers anti-money laundering checks that leaned on thresholds and sampling rather than customer risk, and safer gambling alerts that ran on some of the group's sites but not all. For players, the useful takeaway is that a casino slowing or rationing withdrawals is a regulatory issue, not just poor service, and can be raised with the Commission.
The regulator's view: £8.3bn online and a push on illegal sites
The day before, acting chief executive Sarah Gardner set out the British market's numbers in a keynote to the International Association of Gaming Regulators conference in Lima. Remote betting, casino and bingo gross gambling yield reached £8.3bn in the year to March 2026, up 6.9%, while the problem gambling rate fell to 2.4% of adults in 2025 from 2.7% in 2024.
Most of the speech dealt with the illegal market. In 2025/26 the Commission issued 741 cease and desist notices, reported 397,527 URLs and had 1,134 sites taken down or geo-blocked. Its research found that players drift to unlicensed sites mainly to get round GamStop or to avoid handing over personal data, and it called on search engines, payment firms and affiliates to stop promoting illegal operators.
Gardner also confirmed that financial risk assessments will go ahead, with fewer than 3% of accounts expected to need one, and warned that some suppliers falsely market products as "Gambling Commission approved". The Commission does not endorse products.
What to watch next week
Release listings point to a crowded 22 October, with Pragmatic Play's Rat Royale, ELK Studios' Propaganda 2 and Hacksaw's Epic SixSixSix all scheduled that day. Hacksaw's Le Darkchaun follows on 25 October, though that date is still marked as unconfirmed.
Stakelogic's Stitchers Get Stitches, a six-reel, 4,096-payline game set inside a cursed claw machine, is expected on 29 October with an RTP range listed from 88.01% to 95.98%. Beyond that, Hacksaw's Q3 report on 3 November will show whether the slower quarter was a blip. Hacksaw has not named any operator partners or launch dates, and it does not take on players directly.
Why did L & L Europe pay £900,000 to the Gambling Commission?
The Gambling Commission found failures at L & L Europe including withdrawal terms that let customers request only one withdrawal at a time, manual reviews that held up some payouts, weak anti-money laundering checks and safer gambling alerts missing from some of its seven websites. The £900,000 settlement was announced on 21 October 2026.
